Merlin ran down the hall to Arthur's chambers, Arthur's been bugging him all day with chores. 'Do this Merlin, do that Merlin. I need three things done in a half hour that usually take an hour each. Hurry Merlin.' You are usually Gauis' assistant, but he's letting you help Merlin.

You were washing Arthur's clothes and hanging them up to dry. Merlin ran in with a huge basket of laundry.

"Arthur wants us to wash all his clothes, he just says they are all dirty" Merlin sighed, obviously frustrated with the young prince.

"Merlin, calm down. I'll wash the clothes. It's no big deal." You answered, laughing slightly to yourself. You hung up the shirt you were holding and walked over to Merlin. He gave you basket and you set it down.

You went back to washing when his arm went around your waist. He whispered some things in your ear. You turned around and kissed him. For a long time. So long, that Arthur came into the washroom.

"Whoa! Merlin you weren't kidding when you said you were dating Y/N" Arthur said, covering his face with his hands and wincing. "And one more thing, how do I un-see that!"

You and Merlin laughed and kissed some more, Arthur looked away.

"Will you two stop and do the laundry?" Arthur commanded more than asked, laughing to himself. He would never admit it, but he was glad Merlin found someone.

You both stopped and started the laundry, giggling every time you looked at each other.
