"Daddy!!" Your two kids yell as they see their dad, Jim Kirk, return to your quarters. He just got off work and had returned.

"Hey Donnie, hey Ashley! How are you?" He says as he picks them up, spinning around on his feet. They are twins, both three years old. 

"I drew you a picture! See?" Donnie says as he points to a picture on the table.

"Wow!" Jim replied as he sets them down. "Thank you!" He walked over to you and kissed you.

"How was your day?" You asked. He shrugged and kissed you again.

"Ewe!" You heard Donnie and Ashley say. You and Jim pulled apart and laughed.

"Hey, isn't it you bedtime?" Jim told them. They giggled and nodded. "C'mon, I'll give you a bath."

He picks them up and takes them to the bathroom. You sit alone at the table doing some work. The landing party had returned today and you had to work the transporter. Of course, a control malfunctioned resulting in the death of a crewman. You were feeling really guilty. A few minutes later Jim returned.

"I tucked them into bed and read them a book. They should sleep. We are alone" Jim said. He sat down I'm the chair next to you and kissed you again.

"Jim, I don't really want to do anything tonight. I just want to finish my work and go to bed." You say, moving away from your husband.

"You okay? I heard about the death. I know you were the one working the controls. If you want to talk about it let me know." He whispered, kissing your forehead before going to get ready for bed. You finished your paperwork and went to get ready for bed. He was already in bed so you were alone. When you finished you went into bed.

"Hey Jim, I'm feeling pretty guilty over this. I know it's not my fault, but I still feel guilty." You blurt out. He looked at you as moved closer.

"It truly isn't your fault and you shouldn't feel guilty. I love you and you have a son and a daughter that love you. What more could you ask for?" Jim tells you. He put his arm around your waist and held you close.

"I suppose. And how would you like another one of those kids?" You say smiling. He looks at you and smiles.

"You're kidding right? No you not kidding. This is great!" He said as he hugged you tighter. "Love you Y/N"
