Barry Allen [The Flash]*

Here's a break from all the Charles ones! I'm not the best at writing Barry, but I felt like finishing this from my drafts. Enjoy! It's soooooo crappy though...

Trigger Warning: None

"Three years, Barry! Three years! How could he after three years!" You yell, storming into your friend's apartment. Barry Allen looked up from his paper work, concern starting to fill his face.

Your boyfriend of three years, Ryan, had broken up with you tonight over the phone. You heard another girl with him, so it couldn't be good. "What happened?" Barry asked, setting all the work aside. You instantly collapsed on his couch, burying your head in pillows.

"He cheated on me! He cheated on my for a while from the sounds of it! He called me to break up with me and there was another girl!" You scream, tears pouring down your face. The pillows were becoming stained from the little makeup you used.

"Oh god..." Barry muttered, rushing to your side. He sat on the coffee table beside his couch, gently running his hand soothingly on your back. You cried, a million emotions consuming your body at once.

Barry wrapped his arms around you, kissing your forehead softly. He moved onto the couch, you cuddled into his muscular chest, hyperventilating from the abundance of emotions. "Shhhh shhhh." He whispered, gently running his fingers through your hair.

"He's everything to me, Barry!" You shout, leaping out of his arms. You stormed across his apartment, trembling so badly you could barely walk in a straight line. Crashing into things, plates and glasses crashed to the ground with a shattering ring, your knees giving out. You fell into the pile of glass, sobbing and feeling more pathetic than you knew you could.

"Hey hey, shhh. Take some deep breaths. Is your hand hurt?" Barry asked, racing towards you with his speed. He unknowingly kneeled in the glass, but it didn't matter. He just wanted to make sure you were okay.

"N-no. I'm s-so sorry." You sob, relaxing slightly as he clasped your hand in his.

"Breathe with my hand squeezing yours. In when I squeeze your hand, out when I release. Please? Can you do that for me?" Barry requested, his voice more soothing than anything you could have imagined. You nod, beginning to breathe with his hands.

Slowly, pain began to register in your body. Glass littered your cheek and forehead, your arms and abdomen peppered with small cuts. "He-he doesn't love me anymore, Barry."

"I know he doesn't, but I love you." Barry told you, gently helping you up from the floor. He practically carried you to the couch once again, zooming to the bathroom and back before you could blink.

"I love you too.. but no one can love me like he doe- did. Like he did." You repeat, holding your arm out for him to take. He began to use a tweezers, picking the glass shards from your skin. Blood leaked from the abrasions each time, your face contorted in pain.

"You don't need him anymore. He's missing out." Barry muttered, taking some gauze from the first aid kit. He wrapped your hand to be sure it stayed clean, moving down to pull the small shards from your stomach. His hand rested on your waist, his other carefully pulling the shards.

"He's missing nothing, Barry." You cry, cursing yourself for being so over emotional and soft. But, your boyfriend cheated on you if you wanted to cry you were going to.

"He's missing your humor. The way you smile, the way your hair always looks perfect, the way you brighten up a room, the way you laugh, the way you always separate your food in order to eat it, the way you care for everyone and everything you meet-"

"Barry, thank you." You cut him off, a different emotion pulling itself to the forefront of your mine. Happiness. Something clicked and you noticed you missed the biggest hint the universe had ever thrown at you. Barry was the guy you were supposed to go out with. Not Ryan. But, he loved Iris, or at least did last time you asked.

"It's not problem, really. Happy to help and tell the truth." Barry laughed, grinning at his own joke. You moved forward, pressing your lips to his. In momentary confusion, he kissed back, but then he broke away.

"Why?" You ask, pouting.

"It's a rebound right now, Y/N. You just broke up with Ryan. Get some rest." Barry sighed, obviously disappointed. Secretly, he was thrilled of your outburst of affection, but knew in his heart it could be false. "I'll be in my room, if-if you need me. As long as a meta doesn't decide to commit any crimes."

"Thank you, Barry. I'm sorry." You whisper, feeling shame overwhelm you.

"Don't be sorry, just wait a while. If you feel the same in a few weeks, then we can reconsider. Just right now, get some sleep." Barry winked, closing the door to his room. You stared at the ceiling, the light of now just a lamp illuminating the room.

Barry could really be the sweetest man you'd ever know.
