Barry Allen [The Flash]*

**Updates will be rare and just till this book is completely filled. I won't be taking requests just for the fact I don't want the pressure of requests. I'd rather write the rest for fun. If I change my mind (and I probably will) I will open requests back up again. Enjoy the first Flash chapter!**

Barry Allen ran around his room, trying in every single outfit possibility. He needed to look perfect for his date with you. Not a single outfit he owned seemed to look right; there was a total of 162 combinations of pants and shirts possible. Nothing seemed perfect.

Papers flew out of Joe West's hands, Barry appeared in the doorway. "Kid if you ask me one more time about your outfit, it will not be pretty." Joe sassed, collecting the paper work from around his feet. Barry sighed, rocking on his heels in frustration.

"I really like Y/N, Joe. I just wanna look nice." Barry whined, sitting on the foot of the steps. Joe looked around at the young man, raising an eyebrow.

"If she really likes you, she won't really care how you dress. I can't believe I'm giving the young man that's a son to me, fashion advice. You couldn't have called Iris?" Joe sighed, flopping the papers down onto the coffee table.

"Iris knows Y/N.. so that would be awkward.." Barry stated, playing slightly with his hands. Joe got up, sitting on the step of the stairs beside Barry.

"Look, you pick her up in ten minutes? Just wear that and be yourself." Joe told him, trying to work his fatherly wisdom. Barry nervously sighed and nodded, getting up.

"Gotta run." He halfheartedly cheered, smiling slightly before disappearing in a streak of lightning. 'Gotta Run' had become his form of catch phrase, he was the Flash anyway.

You opened your door, startled to see Barry walking up the steps. "You are right on time. That's a good start, usually I have to wait quite a while." You remark, walking down the steps to be level with Barry. He was taller but not by much.

"Well, no need to let the best wait." Barry attempted to flirt, cringing at his own awkwardness. You giggled a little, smiling while looking down at your feet. "Sorry, that was really cringey." Barry laughed, gently taking your hand in his as you two walked. The restaurant for your first date was walking distance from your house, so no need to waste fossil fuels.

"No no, it was cute. I promise." You laugh, locking eyes with him before watching where you were heading again. Barry nodded, calming his nerves more best he could.

"Thank you.. I haven't been on too many dates." Barry muttered, keeping a tight grip on you hand. Sweaty fingers and palms together, both of you incredibly nervous.

The date ended well, although Barry did weirdly disappear for about ten minutes. He just said he saw an upset friend of his and went to go see what happened before returning. Otherwise, it was a pretty good date.
