"Why do you keep hiding things from me?" Your older brother, Merlin, asked you.

"I'm a teenage girl, it's what we do. I have to go to work now, see you." You say, running out of the room. Anything to get out of a lecture by your brother.

"Okay, bye! Be carefu-" Merlin tried saying before he was cut off by the door.

You first went to your boyfriend, well secret boyfriend's, quarters. Arthur Pendragon was sitting at a table, holding supplies.

"Would you like to go on a picnic today? I've given Merlin the morning off. We have a while to leave." Arthur said, picking up a picnic basket from under the table. You smiled and grabbed his hands.

"I'd love to." You say, standing on your toes to kiss his cheek.

The two of you snuck out of the castle, running out into the woods. Arthur didn't bother using a servant to help, he just did it all himself.

"Are you enjoying it?" He asked you, trying to start some interesting conversation.

"Yes, very." You say, cuddling close to him. He leaned over and kissed you, your body close to his.

"I love you, you know that." Arthur mumbled, kissing you for a long time.

"Of course I know that. And you know I love you." You tell him when you both stop kissing. You start kissing him again, until a voice interrupts.

"Y/N?! Arthur?!" Merlin yelled, running down a hill towards you two. "Arthur, what are you doing with my sister?!"

"Oh no." You mumble, standing up. "Merlin, it's okay."

"No it's not okay!' He yelled when he reached you and Arthur.

"Yes it is, I love him." You say, trying to help the case.

"And I love her." Arthur said, cutting in. "Nothing can stand between us."

"How long has this been going on?!" Merlin yelled, still furious.

"A couple months. I didn't tell you because I knew this would be your reaction." You say, still trying to calm your brother.

"Months?! Why didn't you tell me?!" Merlin insisted.

"Because of your reaction. There's nothing you can do anyway." You say.

"I love Y/N and I won't let anyone stand between us. Nothing in the world is better than her." Arthur told Merlin, hugging you. "I love you." He mumbled, looking down at you.

"I love you." You say, kissing him quickly.

"If you hurt her-" Merlin said, before getting cut off.

"You'll hunt me down and hurt me, yes I've had the speech." Arthur said, trying to avoid a lecture.

"Good. Good." Merlin mumbled before awkwardly walking away.

"That went over better then I thought." You tell Arthur, sitting back down.

"Better?" Arthur asked laughing.

"Better." You say, kissing Arthur again.
