Power: able to control elements

Superhero name: Elemental Girl

"Guys!! I could use a little help here!!" You yell into the coms as another creature attacked you. You toasted it with your fire and smashed another with rocks. You jump into the air and use wind to loft you above a creature before slamming it into the ground.

"Everyone needs help at the moment, Y/n!!" You hear Steve's voice over the intercoms. All of the Avengers were being bombarded by the stone creatures. You were just trying to stay alive at this point.

Soon, all the creatures around you are dead. You look around, but don't see any of the others.

"Hello?" You say into the coms. "Does anyone copy?" Static.

"Great." You mutter to yourself. "Just great." You hear an explosion. You decide to head that way. But right before you start walking, something hits you in the back of the head and everything goes dark.

Slowly, you raise your head. You try to remember what happened. You remember fighting, trying to find the Avengers. And just before you went to find them, the world went black.

You look around, trying to get your bearings. Your eyes land on a figure standing across from you.

"The Amazing Elemental Girl." The figure steps into the light and you gasp. "So good to finally meet you." Loki says.

Your anger starts boiling. You knew that when you became really angry, you burst into flames. You waited. Nothing happened. You try to deliberately light yourself on fire. Again, nothing.

"What?" You were shocked.

"Oh, did I forget to mention that?" You look up at Loki. "You won't be able to use your powers while you're in those ropes." He gestures to your tied hands.

You jump at him. Ok, more like jerked toward him. The ropes held you in place though. Just by the feeling of the ropes, you could tell it was heavy-duty. (Yes, you had been kidnapped enough that you could tell when a rope was high quality. That's what happens when you're the youngest Avenger.)

"It's not personal, really." Loki says as you wriggle in your seat.

"How is this NOT personal?" You spat.

"I just need you as bait." He explains. "I'm truly after someone else."

"Care to tell me who you're after?" You're hoping you could get something out of him.

"Haha, clever. But no." Loki says. He heads toward the door. "Enjoy your stay!" He calls over his shoulder, slamming the door shut behind him.

You sigh, then try to work your hands out of the rope. It doesn't work, and you know it's futile. You stop and lean back, taking deep breaths. You were starting to panic a little, so you tried to calm yourself down.

"Calm down, Y/n. This isn't the first time you've been kidnapped." You think to yourself.

"Yeah, but the others weren't gods!!" Your other side argued. You take a deep breath and close your eyes.

You didn't realize that you had fallen asleep. When you open your eyes, Loki's standing in front of you with a cup of water. You suddenly realize how parched you are.

"Here." He says. He lifts the cup to your mouth and you sip out the sweet liquid. You can feel the water drip down your throat as it travels down your esophagus.

"Thank you." You say as Loki pulls the cup away.

"See? I'm not a savage." He says.

"Well...you are the one who kidnapped me." You smart back. "It's kinda savage to kidnap a 17 year-old girl."

"Ooo, feisty." Loki says. "I like that." He winks at you and you roll your eyes.

While you were held hostage, you and Loki had a lot of time to talk. You knew that the rest of the Avengers would come to rescue you, and you assumed Loki did too. He told you it was his destiny to do this. That's where you stopped him. You told him that he could choose his own destiny, not have his destiny controlled. That's when he knew he had fallen for you. And that he wouldn't give you up without a fight.

A couple days passed and the Avengers finally showed up. You tried to convince Loki to just let you go and to turn himself in, but he didn't listen. He fought all the Avengers at once.

Sometime during the fight, you had managed to get out of your ropes. You look up to see Loki standing over Tony, who was on the floor, moaning. You flung yourself on top of Tony, stopping Loki from hurting him.

"Loki, stop!!!" You cried. He saw you and caught himself before he threw a ball of magic. He looked at you, shock in his green eyes.

"You need to stop this." You plead. "Just turn yourself in, and we can work something out."

"I'm sorry, Y/n." He said. "But that's not going to happen. Goodbye, my love." He disappeared in a cloud of smoke. You stare at the spot he was just at.

The rest of the day was a blur. You don't really recall everything that happened on the way back to New York, but one thing was certain. Loki had fallen for you, and you had fallen in love with him too. You were determined to find him again, no matter what it took.
