Violet's POV

Being a Herondale was hard enough but being the younger sister to Jace Wayland/Herondale was even more difficult. He was so over protective of me because I was younger and because I was one of the very few blood relatives he had left. 

Alec, Jace and I were all in the main area of the Institute talking about the greater demon that was roaming New York and was killing people. We were trying to find a way to summon it because we thought that it had Izzy. Just when we were going to ask Magnus about summoning it, Izzy walked into the Institute. Alec ran over to her first and hugged her before asking where the hell she had been. She told him what happened and then introduced us to the blonde guy who was with her, that none of us had noticed before she said something about him. He shook Jace and Alec's hand before walking up to me.

"I'm Sebastian." he said before taking my hand in his and bringing it up to his lips. I smiled at the gesture.

"I'm Violet" I told him.

"A beautiful name for a beautiful girl" He replied, still holding my hand in his. Jace cleared his throat and walked in between Sebastian and I.

"How about you don't flirt with my sister and we get back to dealing with this demon problem" Jace said, in a sort of rude tone. Sebastian didn't look very happy with the fact that Jace had stopped our interaction but he just nodded and we all continued to talk about the demon.

Time Skip

Later that night as I was getting ready to go to sleep, I heard a knock at my bedroom door. Expecting it to be Izzy or Jace I just called out to them.

"Door's open!" I called. I hear the door open but my back is turned to the door so I can't see if it was Jace or Izzy who entered. 

"I was actually hoping that you would open the door yourself" I hear a beautiful British accent say. I quickly turn around to see Sebastian standing near my door. 

"And why would you have wanted me to answer the door?" I ask, smiling.

"So the first thing that I saw when the door was opened was your beautiful face." He smiles back to me. I tuck a piece of my raven hair behind my ear. 

"You are very sweet Sebastian." I say to him. 

"Well why wouldn't I be sweet to the girl that I was instantly drawn to as soon as I walked into this Institute? And I know that you were instantly drawn to me too." He told me. I look down at my feet.

It was true. I was instantly drawn to Sebastian when I met him and I don't really know why. Deep down inside I knew that I wanted more with him but I also knew that Jace would never allow it to happen.

"You can't tell me that you weren't drawn to me too Violet" Seb says as he walks towards me and places his finger under my chin and lifts my face to meet his eyes. 

"I am but my brother won't approve of me having an infatuation with you." I tell him sadly. 

"Who cares what your brother thinks. This is your choice" He tells me as he runs his thumb along my brown skin covered cheek. He slowly leans down and presses his lips to mine softly.

I kiss back and wrap my hands around the back of his neck. He deepens the kiss and I open my mouth the let his tongue in. We end up making out for a bit before we pulled away and sat on my bed. 

"Do you maybe wanna stay in here for the night?" I asked Seb after we were had both sat down on my bed.

"Only if you want me to stay." Seb answers. I smile and pull him in for another kiss. We ended up falling asleep in each other's arms. 

The next morning, I woke up to another knock on the door. I am about to call out to them that the door is open but then I roll over and see Sebastian sleeping soundly in my bed beside me. I quietly get out of bed and walk over to the door. I open it to see Jace standing there in sweatpants and a t-shirt. He gives me a weird look once he notices that I'm still in my pjs.

"Don't tell me that you forgot about training this morning." Jace says.

"No, I didn't I just accidentally slept in." I tell him. I glance behind the door and Seb is still sleeping in my bed. I have the door only a quarter open so Jace can't see my bed. 

"Well hurry up and get changed so we can train. I will just chill in here while you get ready." He says trying to walk past me into my room but I stop him.

"You don't wanna come in here. It's a mess" I try to lie but Jace sees right through the lie.

"I know when you are lying. Why are you lying Violet?" Jace asks me. 

"Jace, I know you are my older brother but you don't need to know everything about my life." I try to convince him.

"Yes I do. I need to know so I can keep you safe" he says before pushing past me into my bedroom. His eyes land on Sebastian in my bed and he instantly starts yelling.

"WHAT THE HELL IS HE DOING IN YOUR BED VIOLET!?!?!" Jace yells, waking up Seb.

"Jace, I can explain" I start

"You don't need to explain why he's in your bed. I'm not stupid, there is no other explanation needed." Jace says as he walks up to Sebastian and grabs him by his shirt. "We let you into our Institute, our home and you sleep with my sister?" Jace says. He is about to punch Seb, before I stop him.

"Jace!" I scream, getting his attention. He stops moving his fist but doesn't let Seb go. "We didn't have sex. We talked, kissed, then fell asleep. That's it." I explained to him.

"I'm not allowing you to date him. We know nothing about him. He could have gotten kicked out of his old Institute and he may be wanted by the Clave. We can't trust him." Jace snaps at me.

"You have no say in who she dates. It is her choice." Sebastian said to Jace. "And I do not appreciate you mistreating me. I have done nothing wrong." He finished

"Yeah except for making out with my sister!" Jace yelled

"Jace, I appreciate you worrying about me and trying to protect me but I am a big girl and I can take care of myself. So will you please just let me live my own life and stop breathing down my back. I really do like Sebastian and I know that if he ever hurts me that I have an amazing big brother who will help me through my pain. I love you and all but you just need to tone down your big brother over-protectiveness, okay?" I say to Jace. He sighs and walks up to me, wrapping his arms around me, engulfing me in a hug.

"I know you can take care of yourself Violet, I just worry because you are one of the very few blood relatives I have left and my older brother instincts kick in and tell me that I have to protect you from everything. I just can;t have anything bad happen to you. I'm sorry for being a dick. I love you Violet." Jace says to me.

"I love you too Jace." I whisper to him, still hugging him. He pulls away and turns to Sebastian.

"If you hurt her, I will hurt you." Jace threatens Seb. Sebastian just nods and Jace looks at me and smiles before walking out of my room. 

I turn towards Sebastian and see him smiling. I walk over to him and press my lips against his. He wraps his arms around my waist as mine wrap around his neck.

"I really do care about you Violet" Sebastian whispers after he pulls away from the kiss.

"I know. I really care about you too" I say before pressing my lips to his once again.

I hope you liked it and I'm so sorry for taking so long to come out with this. I have been really busy with school and my tumblr account as well as volleyball. I have a free period during school that I am going to try to use to come out with more chapters/imagines.
