Jace's POV

I left Evangeline's apartment to go find Alfonso Stephanie and make him pay for what he did to her. I knew where he lived so that's the first place I checked and sure enough there he was. I saw him in the window, with a glass of blood in his hands. I walked up to his door and knocked.

"I don't wanna buy whatever you're selling" Alfonso yelled through the door. I was already pissed off and that pissed me off even more. With one kick the door was off its hinges and on the floor on his apartment. "What the hell do you think you're doing?" He yelled at me. 

"What am I doing? What the hell did you think you were doing to Evangeline?!" I yelled back. 

"Oh that bitch was asking for it. Did she do the same to you? Seduce you and then turn you down and then make a big fuss when you try harder?" He said, making my blood boil.

"You son of a bitch!" I yelled, punching him in the jaw. He fell to the ground and put his hand on his face, where my fist connected. He let out an cruel laugh and stood up. 

"That's how you wanna play Shadowhunter, then we can play, but just know that by the end of this, you will be my late night snack" He gave me an evil smile. 

He rushed me with his supernatural speed and I couldn't get out the way in time. He pushed me against the wall, breaking the drywall in the process. I quickly got up and pulled out my seraph blade. I got into a fighting stance. As Alfonso rushed me again, I swung my blade and slashed his right arm. He hissed and rushed me again. This time, I ducked out of the way and slashed the back of his left leg. 

He growled and turned around to face me. He was super pissed and I could tell. He picked up his kitchen table and threw it at me. I tried to move out of the way but I wasn't fast enough and it hit me, sending me into the wall across the room. Before I could get up Alfonso grabbed me by the throat and lifted me into the air. He pinned me against the wall and tightened his grip around my neck. My seraph blade was across the room on the floor due to it being knocked out of my hands when the table hit me. I tried to pry his hand from my throat to let air into my lungs. Alfonso had an evil grin on his face. He thought he won, but what he didn't know was that I always had an extra knife strapped to my leg. 

I pulled it out without him noticing and I plunged it into his neck. He stumbled back and both his hands went to his neck, letting me go in the process. I grabbed Alfonso by the collar of his shirt and throw him into his coffee table.

I then scrambled to my seraph blade and grabbed it. I rushed back over to where Alfonso was laying on the ground. I lifted my blade to kill him but he stopped me.

"If you kill me, all the other dhampires will find you and Evangeline and they will kill both you and your worthless bitch" He said. 

"All the other dhampires actually respect Evangeline" I replied before stabbing my seraph blade through his heart. I pulled it out and watched at Alfonso Stephanie turned to ash in front of me. I sighed and grabbed my knife that was laying on the ground, right where Alfonso tossed it after pulling it out of his neck. I quickly glamoured the apartment and left to go back to Evangeline's apartment.

The sun was starting to rise as I left Alfonso's apartment. I had to hurry and get back before Evangeline woke up. I activated my Iratze-Heal rune and then my speed rune before rushing back to Evangeline's place.
