The sound of your footsteps echoed loudly in the alley, breaking the silence that previously reigned, each step you took was an attempt to stay one step ahead.

You didn't know how it started, but now you were running for your life. Brock had been by your side, but something had changed.

"I said stop," you heard his voice behind you, but you didn't dare look back. You had to keep going, to get away from him. You couldn't let yourself stop, not when you knew what he was capable of.

You turned a corner, looking for somewhere to hide, somewhere safe. But the alleys seemed like dead-end mazes, and panic began to take hold of you.

Suddenly, you felt a sharp tug on your wrist. Brock had caught up with you. You screamed, struggling to let go, but his grip was firm, almost painful. He pulled you to him, his lips just a whisper away from your ear.

"Run, little one," he murmured. "I want to see how far you can go."

With a push, he released you and you fell to the ground. You scrambled to your feet and ran again, your legs shaking with exhaustion and fear. Brock was following you.

Why was he doing this?

What did he want from you?

It didn't matter. You had to find a way out.

You saw a door ajar up ahead and rushed toward it, entering an abandoned building. You hid behind a column, trying to control your breathing, praying that Brock would pass you by.

But he didn't. You heard him come in, walking as if he knew exactly where you were.

"Did you really think you could hide from me?" his voice echoed in the darkness.

You didn't answer. There was no escape. You knew he had cornered you, that there was nowhere you could run.

Suddenly, the light of a flashlight illuminated the place where you stood. You covered your eyes, momentarily blinded. And there he was, Brock, smiling grimly.

"You know," he said, slowly approaching, "I like it when you run. But this game is over."

Your breathing became erratic as you backed up, desperately looking for a way out, but only finding the wall.

"You can always keep running," he whispered, his face dangerously close to yours. "But you can never escape me, little one."

You darted to the side before he touched you, running again. Brock only laughed.

"Run, little one," you heard behind you. "I can't wait to see how much longer you can hold out."
