Chased By A Weeping Angel
AN: Hi. This dream was brought to you by PixieHero. In case you couldn't guess by the title, this dream involves the Doctor Who fandom!
----
I was running. I kept looking back, but every time I did, the angel was closer. I was in a field with nothing but a barn on the other side of the field. I was running toward it and away from the Angel.
I reached the barn, flung open the door, ran inside, and slammed the door behind me. But there it was. Standing in the middle of the run-down red barn was the Angel. The same one that had been chasing me, standing there like it had been expecting me. I almost expected it to say so.
I never found out if it did, because I slammed the door right in its face ran back outside. A bright red train was chugging slowly away past the barn. I continued the running and watching for the Angel. Apparently a locked door can slow it down.
I jumped onto the train and watched the Weeping Angel get further and further away. I went inside one of the passenger cars and was surprised by what I saw.
The train looked like it would have a very tall ceiling from the outside, but it was actually the opposite. The floor was tall, like a red double-decker bus, except there is only the top "floor" and a ceiling. There were two other passengers in that car with me: an old lady knitting something, and a guy reading a newspaper in a fedora and a trench coat.
"Sup," I said to the fedora guy.
"Hello," he said, hesitating slightly. He looked up at me. "Do you always ride trains like that?"
I looked around, noticing that I had decided to ride the train ninja-style by hanging from the ceiling over an aisle. "Apparently," I responded.
"Ah. Okay then." He went back to reading the paper.
----
The train stopped at a dock and I ninja dropped and ninja rolled out of the train and toward the docks. There were many submarines parked there, so I ran toward one at random and jumped in.
I expertly maneuvered the sub around the bay a bit before heading out into open water. It's like playing a video game, I thought. I swerved left and right, avoiding large icebergs in the water.
I finally docked at my destination and climbed out of the submarine. I had to dock on an iceberg instead of the dock because it was full. I parkour jumped from iceberg to iceberg until I reached the lower level of the metal shipping dock. I climbed a ladder and found a building. Curious, I went inside.
The building was a restaurant slash shop. It was American Country style, with wood everything and red checkered table cloths. It had a warm atmosphere and was welcoming. I strolled into the shop, but stopped dead in my tracks.
Standing in the shop, waiting for me, was the Weeping Angel.
