Hello, everyone! I have returned! Well, sorta. To be honest, I came here only to post my newsletter for July before logging back out until next week or so. I'm not fully done with my month away from Wattpad yet. But since it's the first day of July, and in honor of this book getting 1.1k views, I've decided to post this article for you guys. This one will be a short one this time, I promise. I'm sure this will make some of you readers happy. lol XD

Today's topic is about Talespin, a Disney TV show that you can now get on DVD, and has been around since the '90s. Many of the characters are taken from the Disney film "Jungle Book". I used to love watching this when I was a kid, though I would always facepalm every time Baloo did something stupid — which was often. However, I had a problem with the show, other than Baloo's buffoonic antics: the absence of Bagheera and the Wolves (not the snake, because there doesn't seem to be any snakes in the world of Talespin that aren't the dumb ones (that is, those that can't talk).

Why Are They Omitted From the Show?

Contrary to popular opinion, I felt like Bagheera and the Wolves were the best characters in both the books AND the movie(s) . . . if you include the two most recent live-action Jungle Book re-takes. They were, at the very least, my favorite characters. So imagine my surprise when out of all the characters that joined the series, Bagheera and the Wolves weren't ever shown or mentioned once the entire time. Now, why is that?

Well, it can be a number of things. For one, there might've been not any room or any reason (though those excuses are pitiful) for them to be added into the show. Or maybe they had plans to add them somewhere in the show but they unfortunately had to cut the show out sooner than expected due to unknown reasons (there didn't really seem to be an epilogue episode to close Talespin, so that has to be it.)

Another reason could be that they weren't even planning on adding them into the show to begin with — after all, we didn't really see any wolves in Talespin. We do, however, see lots and lots and lots of Black Panthers like Bagheera! Personally, I'd like to believe that Bagheera is in the show, but just doesn't want to be seen. Maybe he's the Wing Commander in either Khan's private air corps or in Cape Suzette's defense air corps. Or maybe he's a business-cat or something. I don't know. But I absolutely refuse to believe (or want to believe) that Bagheera isn't in the show. Bagheera deserves as much air time as Baloo — or at least as much as Khan. In my opinion, the Wolves and Bagheera really got the short end of the stick. >:-/

Oh well, I guess that just means that I need to write some Talespin fan fictions and slap them (or just Bagheera) into them. I mean, it is fan fiction, after all.

Conclusion

Anyway, in conclusion, I have no idea why Disney omitted Bagheera or the Wolves from the show. Personally, I think that was uncalled for. At the very least, they should've added Bagheera into at least one of the episodes. He's too awesome to not have been included!
