Gellert Grindelwald x reader
(Mysterious goings on,with a special guest ;) this one gets a bit of topic)

Normally Halloween is a time for scaring each other and having spooky fun,but this year at Nurmengard there was a mystery to be solved. I am the one who is in charge of the investigation. And the first thing I have to do is investigate, obviously. The first place something strange happened was the kitchen where Queenie is cooking.

I headed there first and saw Queenie there
"So Queenie what's gone on here?" I ask the woman
"I'm not sure Y/n" Queenie says"Here I was working on my cake making skills,when I noticed one of my ingredients was missing "
"Which one?" I ask
"The alcohol for the Christmas cake" Queenie says
"Christmas cake in October?" I ask confused.

"Its never to early to start" Queenie tells me
"That's true, plus Rosier and Abernathy both love your cake" I say making a few notes"I think I will talk to them next" with that I left the kitchen and went in search of Rosier and Abernathy. I found Rosier in the front room with Abernathy and Gellert as well.

"Abernathy, Rosier when was the last time you two where in the kitchen?" I ask them both
"I was their this morning" Abernathy tells me
"What's it to you?" Rosier asks
"Well their is a mystery to solve,and Gellert asked me to look into it,if you have problem with it take it up with my man" I tell her,Rosier look over to Gellert who is sat on the sofa with his boots on the table.

"Fine I was in the kitchen just before noon,and that's all" Rosier says
"So you didn't notice the boot prints on the floor?" I ask her
"Yes and they look exactly like..." Rosier trails off
"Look exactly like Gellert's boots" I say" Are accusing your boss of something? "
"No of course not" Rosier says quick.
"Are you sure?" I ask.

"Yes now get lost" Rosier says leaving the room
"Moody bitch" I say writing more things down
"Are you annoying people again my love?" Gellert asks me
"What can I say its a gift" I say grinning, Gellert laughs at this
"Oh Y/n I've just thought of something" Abernathy says
"What's that?" I ask.

"Credence said he found some peanuts, outside his room not to long ago" Abernathy informs me
"Weird" I say heading to the door
"Hold on my trouble maker, I'm coming with you" Gellert says standing up
"Why afraid I will annoy more followers?" I ask
"There is that,but I'm just bored" Gellert says.

"Okay then hot stuff let's go find Credence" I say to Gellert, the two of us head out of them and upstairs to where Credence's room is. On the way Gellert says
"So what information on this mystery do you have?"
"Well Queenie is missing some alcohol for her cake,there are foot prints of boots in the kitchen similar to your boots and Credence has found some peanuts, that's all I have for now" I tell him.

"Hmm that's not much to go on for you,but all these clues sound familiar to me" Gellert says"But it can't be,not here"
"Can't be what?" I ask curious
"Never mind" Gellert says, we arrive at Credence's room and I knock on the door. Credence opens the door to us
"Hello Y/n have you come about the mystery?" Credence says.

"Yes,so tell me" I ask
"Well i got back to my room 30 minutes ago and strangely I found a small pile of peanuts on the floor by the door,its strange because I don't eat peanuts" Credence says
"Was there anything else beside the peanuts?" Gellert asks the boy
"Just more boot prints,like your sir but dirty" Credence adds.

"What's that smell?" I ask sniffing the air
"I know that smell" Gellert says
"What smell?" Credence and I ask
"Gunpowder" Gellert says "Let's follow the foot prints". The two of us follow the dirty footprints and they lead us down the corridor and back down to the ground floor. Eventually the footprints stop by a shut cupboard door.

"That's odd,this door is always locked" I say
"Yes there is nothing in here" Gellert says" Its to small for anything " A noise comes from inside the cupboard
"Its not empty anymore" I say,Gellert draws his wand and moves slightly in front of me,with a flick of his wrist the door opens and a man falls at Gellert's feet.

"How did you get here Jack?" Gellert asks putting his wand away,the man on the floor stands up swaying slightly as he does so
"I don't know mate" the man called Jack says, I look between Gellert and this other man and see they look very similar but also different
"Gellert who is this?" I ask curious
"Captain Jack Sparrow to you luv" the man says winking at me.

"Oi she's my woman Sparrow" Gellert warns him"You can't just show up in my castle uninvited " Gellert says
"Well why wasn't I included in this book then?" Jack asks
"Don't take it up with me" Gellert says
"The who shall I take it up with pretty boy" Jack asks
"The author"Geller says look up to the author.

No's P.O.V

Y/n watched confused as the men talked with a unknown voice
"So Madame Author,why wasn't ol Jack part of this book?"
"I'm sorry Jack,I didn't mean to leave you out" the Author says
"But why luv?" Jack asks
"Honestly Jackie I don't know" the Author says
"Ha Jackie" Gellert says mocking the nickname
"Oh be quiet Mr Blonde Ambition" the Author says,making Jack laugh.

"How about this,I will write you your own Halloween chapter" The Author says to Jack
"Okay fine" Jack agreed "Will I have to share with pretty boy?"
"I can't say for certain but maybe" The Author says
"That's fine with me" Gellert says
"Deal we have an accord" Jack agrees
"Good because this chapter has gone completely nuts" The Author says"And I think poor Y/n is confused "
"A little bit" Y/n admits"None of this has made any sense"
"I know but its my choice" The Author tells her.
