Barnabas Collins x reader
(Modern A.U Halloween party.)

I have only been at my friends Halloween party for 30 minutes and I'm already board. Sure it is a good party and all but I'm not that much of a social person,I prefer my own company. All around me are people dressed as Ghosts, Ghoul's, Witches and Zombies but I seem to be the only Vampire here which sucks,no pun intended. I walk over to put my empty glass down on the table as my friend joins me.

"Y/n you have to join the costume contest" my friend Sasha says
"Why?" I ask
"Because there are only two vampires here,and both your costumes are brilliant" Sasha tells me
"Wait there is another person dressed as a vampire?" I ask her
"Sure there is,the cute weird guy by the back wall" Sasha says pointing,I look to where she is pointing and a man with jet black hair and a really pale face dressed in old school clothes and holding a walking cane.

"Why is he weird, he looks normal to me?" I ask my friend
"Talk to him and you will find out" Sasha says before walking off to chat up some werewolf. I watch the man as he looked at the party goers around him,it was then he locked eyes with me. Well it looked like he is looking at me,but he could be looking behind me.

I look away from the man for a few seconds just in case,when I look back again the mystery man is stood right in front of me
"I have searched for a long time,but finally another vampire" the man says,his voice is deep,his eyes a piercing dark brown
"Excuse me?"
"It is true isn't it,you are like me" the man asks hopeful.

I grab the man by the arm and drag him to a different room,away from the party
"Madame this is highly unorthodox" the man says once I closed the door
"I'm sorry but you can't just go around asking people if they are vampires, people will think you're crazy" I tell him
"I apologize, that was very rude of me" the man says" Allow me to introduce my self,I am Barnabas Collins "

"Y/n L/n" I say" So Barnabas are you a real vampire? "
"This isn't a costume dear lady" Barnabas tells me,he then opens his mouth and shows me his fangs
"Wow" I say in awe"So I'm not alone"
"You are a vampire" Barnabas says
"Yes I am a real one,but I've only been one for two years and I've lived here for six months to get away from my ex who turned me" I explain.

"No one knows I'm a vamp though"
"I shall keep your secret, if you keep mine" Barnabas asks offering his hand
"Deal" I say taking the hand,which Barnabas raised to lips and kisses the back of
"It looks like are two vampires are getting along" the voice of Sasha says"Come on you two, the contest has began "Barnabas and I share a look before Sasha could leave.

"How close are the two of you?"Barnabas asks me.
"Not that close" I say
"Why?" Sasha asks
"Because my dear,I am quite thirsty" Barnabas says baring his fangs
"I call dibs" I say also bearing my fangs
"What is this dibs you speak of?" Barnabas asks,as I sink my teeth in Sasha's neck and drink her warm delicious blood
"Oh Barny you have a lot to learn".
