Gilderoy Lockhart X reader.

This year the Hogwarts fancy dress party for Halloween promises to be more of a suprise than ever before. I don't know how though,I mean we are literally at a magical school. But my boyfriend Gilderoy Lockhart did say he had something no one would expect planned for the party,I'm not sure what he means by that. I guess I will just have to wait and see,the party is only a couple more hours away.

Time skip to party.

With the party now underway both students and professors are in attendance,just about every one here is wearing a costume. I my self am dressed as a vampire,a little cliché but I couldn't be botherd to put more effort into. All I have to do now is wait for Gilderoy to arrive,I stood talking to Hagrid about Fang. Hagrid of course isn't wearing a costume but he still is great to talk to.

Another half an hour had passed and still no sing of Gilderoy anywhere,so I decided to go and look for him. Knowing him he probably is still getting ready,he did tell me that his costume has to be perfect or the illusion won't work, whatever that means. I headed towards the entrance hall and had a look around me
"Good evening madam" a french voice said from behind me,I turned around and am met by the familiar blue eyes of my boyfriend but the rest of him is completely different.

His normally wavey blonde hair is now black and slicked back,he is also supporting a large moustache and instead of his normal bright coloured clothes he is wearing a dark grey 3 piece suit and carrying a walk cane with a swan on the handle. Gilderoy looked almost unrecognisable
"Good evening to you ,can I help you?" I said playing along
"I am Hercule Poirot the famous Belgian detective and I have heard there is a mystery to be solved" Gilderoy said
"I'm not sure there is anything to solve but there is a party,if you're interested in that sort of thing?" I said.

"Perfect lead the way Miss...?" Gildeory asked
"Miss Y/n L/n" I say " I had planned on spending the evening with my boyfriend but I can show around instead" I said
"Hey you cant leave me for the detective" Gilderoy said breaking character
"And you're not meant to be breaking character you adorable dork" I say
"Sorry Y/n I got carried away" Gilderoy said smiling
"Let's just enjoy the party smart guy"
