Honeyfern!
Oh, yes. I remember Honeyfern. I'm sure many remember her sad story. She, along with Molekit, Poppykit, and Cinderkit, were the kits of Sorreltail and Brackenfur. When she is a apprentice, she whispers to Hollykit that she has a crush on Berrynose.
After Cinderpaw breaks her leg from falling off a tree saving Molepaw, Honeypaw and Poppypaw get their warrior names before her; Honeyfern and Poppyfrost. Honeyfern is still mooning over Berrynose, and to the rest of the apprentices and new warriors, she doesn't realize how arrogant he is.
By Sunrise, Berrynose and Honeyfern are mates, sharing tongues, watching the kits and talking about having their own. Suddenly, she notices a snake slithering across camp, about to bite Briarkit. She bravely sprints to intercept it, diving and sweeping the kit aside as the snake bites her shoulder.

"We would have had wonderful kits together," -Honeyfern's last words to Berrynose
Berrynose comforts her in her last moments as she screams her blood is on fire.
She died moments after the snake bit her.
