Warrior Of The Day

Today's warrior of the day might be a bit startling-

Mapleshade!
I think most of us can agree that her life was almost nothing but tragedy. Losing her clan, her kits, her mate. After her secret was exposed, ThunderClan kicked her and her kits out. Deciding to seek a new home (in Riverclan) she and her kits tried to cross the river, but her kits were swept away from her and sadly drowned.
Her mate Appledusk had then claimed to have made a mistake about taking Mapleshade as a mate and having kits. He also blamed her for the death of her kits.
They forced her off their land and she wandered alone for some time. She became angry and began to kill to avenge her kits. But was eventually killed by Perchpaw.

She was also in Crookedstar's promise, she made him promise her to be loyal, which he complied. Due to him being the son of the son of the child of Appledusk and Reedshine, she had sworn vengeance on Appledusk's family.

But you may also remember her from the Dark Forest, as an excellent, hateful fighter that killed Spottedleaf.
