I cannot express how much I love these two!!!! I'm always a sucker for the complete opposites, but they really work well together!! I tried a different coloring style, and it took so much longer, and I didn't even get the opacity of one of the layers right, but I still am really proud and really like it!!!!! Also, in the back are the lyrics to the song that's at the top I think???? When I listened to this song I immediately thought of the two of them. The lyrics reminded me of Harper, and how upbeat it was reminded me of Kirishima. SCREEEEE

I only recently found out about the special effects and I decided to go hog wild, and who better to do it for than Harper? I made this thinking about if she was surrounded by so many people and so many thoughts that it was just like static in her head? She would probably also have a migraine with that much sound, and migraines make your peripheral gray and ripply, so that's also for the static stuff!

Made this in study hall too cuz I was raging but the eyes are a bit different from my normal style but I swear  I almost cried when I finished Shoto on paper cuz he looked much more adorable than on here. 

Here comes: A long piece of writing about how much I love Mind Boggled!!!! With spoilers, if anybody is actually reading this, which I doubt they will!!!

Character interpretation. I absolutely love the way Straw (don't remember her name, it would feel weird anyway, don't know why) interprets the characters in her writing! After reading Mind Boggled and rewatching the BNHA anime, I saw just how much of Straw's interpretation of Iida was actually true, and it made me appreciate her writing so much more! I kept seeing when Iida was feeling bad about himself or when he was comparing himself to his brother. It made me see that Straw just took what was shown on the anime (and manga, idk I haven't read it) and pulled it deeper into the story and his character. That one short that she wrote from the POV of Iida had me crying in my bed at 3 in the morning, cuz as soon as I found that book, I did not leave my room or sleep. Also, Sero as the traitor??? Heck yeah, I can see that! That fricken smile. And, I cannot EXPRESS how much I love how absolutely broken he is. Other books have villains that are like "haha this is fun, I'm edgy and I kill people" but noooooooooo. Straw made him so broken and helpless and damaged. Also KUROGIRIIIIIIII. No emotions???? yes. They took what the anime/manga showed, interpreted it, and used it! Kurogiri is one of my favorite character changes in Mind Boggled. It's just ??????????? I can never express. Also, I really love how they took Sansa, who showed up like once????, and made him her character. 

Harper. Just everything about her, really. Mostly her quirk. I've seen so many stories where people have taken the mind-reading thing and made it into a super perfect character who does everything perfectly. That's one of my favorite things about Straw's writing, that the characters all have flaws. Harper deals with depression and quirk drawbacks, Aizawa has some personality insecurity (it's way too complex for me to be able to put it into a few words sorry), Sero is majorly mentally scarred, Kurogiri has separation anxiety, Iida has majoorrrr self-worth issues and depression, Kirishima is too wonderful for his own good, Bakugou can't express himself properly, Sansa is a major alcoholic, Nezu is fricken ???????, and basically everyone else is a dumbass in some way. Character flaws are what make a story worth reading, and Straw gave us all that. She has such diverse and different characters, it makes me really question how she does it. Answer: She's a goddess. You can't change my mind. Anyway, I sorta strayed from the focus: Harper. She is just fucking done, but she's still doing stuff. Barely alive, but saving lives. Can't cheat on tests, cuz the author actually thought it through. Top-notch gay-dar that isn't even gay-dar any more. I love how she knows whats going on and stuff but she's so tired and done and she can barely deal with it all. Overwhelmed, maybe???

I also really love the way Straw just takes the characters and booom, they're a part of this now. Dabi? A villain???? Nah man, he's a bodyguard now. Kurogiri? Nah man, no villains here. None in sight. GOOOD BOI. Tsukauchi? He's a father now. Sansa? Showed up once?? Doesn't affect plot that much???? NOT ANY-FUCKING-MORE. Sero?? REASON HARPER IS IN UA. Shinso?? In only a few episodes?? Only in like, one chapter, but who cares, he's a good boi who has too much ice cream.

I just really love @strawhat_pirate and her writing and I definately wrote too much of a thing that nobody will read. I think I just needed to get this out of my head and this art onto the internet. I actually forgot about the art at this point. *cue Sansa's internal screeching*
