Chapter 4

Han Jisung

"Hyung!"

"Yeah?"

"The new dance teacher is here!" Taegwang said, my newly found, younger friend.

"I'm coming!"

Guys! I entered JYP and I'm now a trainee! I'm so happy! They've been training me for a week now. That guy that called me a while ago is Choi Taegwang.

I'm a year older than him. He's only 17 and I'm now 18 so his my dongsaeng.

I've told my mom and dad about the news! And my dad seemed to be a little disappointed? I don't understand him! And also, my hyung got the news from my Twitter account since I posted there first before calling them.

He said he'll send me a little gift soon. And there's nothing to be excited about that.

He'll probably send me those little squirrel plushies because they looked like me. God! I can't stand him!

I've been staying at my apartment and I just go to JYP when its time to train or something. My schedule is from 7 am to 9 pm which is not that bad.

I didn't get to enter the dorms yet, the staffs looked like they're planning something so they don't make me enter the dorms yet where the other trainees are.

I'm curious. What are they planning for a new trainee like me?

I entered the studio allotted for us, trainees.

"Good morning, trainees. I'm Gu Ian. I'm gonna be your new dance teacher." The man in front of us introduces himself.

To be honest, he looks like he doesn't dance. I mean who will be able to dance with those skinny jeans?

He might as well wear something comfy like simple sweat pants or some jogging pants, not those skinny as hell pants!

"I've introduced myself, you might as well introduce yourselves to me since I'm new." He instructed us.

There are 10 trainees inside the studio allotted for trainees, including me and Taegwang.

The others introduced themselves leaving me and Taegwang to be the last two ones to introduce ourselves since wherein the farthest side of the line.

Taegwang goes first.

"Hello, I'm Choi Taegwang! I've been a trainee for almost two years now!" He said before bowing.

Two freaking years?!

I haven't heard of that since today! I somehow felt nervous standing beside him. For Pete's sake! I'm only a trainee for a week!

"Hmm... Taegwang, I see. And?" The dance teacher turned his brown eyes towards me. I coughed first to fix my now croaky voice.

"Hi! I'm Han Jisung! I've been a trainee for a week now." I said. I bowed at him before looking at him in the eyes.

"Ohh~! A new one! Hello there!" He said with a smile. I just smiled back at him.

"Ja! Let's start our training."

Alright, Han Jisung! Get ready to sweat so hard!

Here we go!

"Woah! I'm so tired!" I mumbled as I got out of the studio to fetch some water on the water fountain outside our room.

I was about to open the water fountain when Taegwang burst the door open getting me startled.

"Yah! Choi Taegwang! You startled me!" I exclaimed at him while I put my hand at my chest.

"Mianhe, hyung! I was just so thirsty!" He said. His voice was so dramatic like, he'll gonna die because of his thirst.

"Tsk! Come here!" I demanded him to come to the fountain that's just beside our studio's door.

I opened the water fountain but nothing came out.

"Uh?" I tried opening it but nothing came out so we decided to go across to the other studio's water fountain.

I opened the water fountain. I sighed in relief when it worked.

"Faster, hyung! I'm so thirsty!" Taegwang said. I put my tumbler inline with the nuzzle of the water fountain. I waited for the water to fill the whole tumbler before pulling it and immediately drinking from my tumbler.

Taegwang immediately replaced me in the 'filling spot' as he filled his own tumbler with water. He drank the whole tumbler not leaving a single water drop behind. He filled his tumbler again with water before turning to me.

"You're not very thirsty, aren't you?" I chuckled at him as he looked so wasted.

I was not expecting to hear Stray Kids' District 9 when it flooded my ears.

"Wah! That's intense! I never knew Hyunjin hyung can dance that intense!" And I never expected to hear Felix's voice when his giggles filled my whole brain.

"Same, mate!"

"Jisung hyung, let's go! I just want to si--"

"Did somebody say Jisung?"

"Oh! Annyeonghasaeyo, Felix sunbaenim! Chan sunbaenim!"

Oh crap! That wasn't my imaginations!

"Ey! Taegwang!" I heard Chan's voice now. I felt like my body freeze. I can't move.

"Wait, did you just said Jisung? As in, Jisung?" Felix said in his deep voice.

"Yeah! Umm... I just called my co-trainees name. He's Jisung hyung!" Taegwang said as he pointed at me. Crap!

I slowly turned around to face them. I almost burst out laughing because of Felix's face.

"Jisung! Bruh! G'day mate!" Chan was the one to greet me in his Australian way.

"Hello, Chan sunbaenim," I said with a smile.

"That's so cringing! Just call me Chan!" He giggled. I just chuckled.

"Wait... You knew each other?" Taegwang asked me.

"Surprisingly, yeah," I said as I looked at him.

"Woah! Daebak!" Taegwang said as if he can't believe what's happening in front of his own eyes.

"So, you're a trainee here?" Felix asked me.

"Yeah. I was accepted here after a week of meeting you guys."

"So you've been a trainee for almost a week?" Chan asked. I nodded as an answer.

"Hyung, I'm gonna go back first! I'm gonna give ya guys some time to talk!" Taegwang rushed out of the scene. He left me with Chan and Felix.

"What are you doing here, anyway?" I asked them. They looked at each other before laughing out loud.

"What?" I deadpanned them. I furrowed my eyebrows out of habit when I'm confused or something.

"We're working here!" Chan said as they succeed at stopping their laughter.

"What?!"

"You didn't know?" Felix asked me.

"I've been quite busy with my audition the week after meeting you guys then I've become busier when I entered JYP so I didn't get the time to search some info about you. All I know is your real names and stage names. And some of your positions, I guess."

"Well, at least now I know that we're working for the same label! It's great to see and talk to you but we need to come back inside and practice! See ya again soon!" Chan said before waving. We said our goodbyes before parting ways.

Chan and Felix entered their studio while I go back to our studio. Taegwang was waiting for me to come back.

"Woah! Felix sunbaenim and Chan sunbaenim knows you, that's amazing!" Taegwang exclaimed rather loudly making our dance teacher and the other trainees look at us.

"Mianhe!" Taegwang said while bowing. We got a 10-minute break so the others are enjoying it at it's finest before breaking our bones again while dancing.

I still can't believe it! Stray Kids works for the same label where I got accepted!

I should have searched about it when I've got the time so that I've known that for a bit earlier!

That's so cool!

Stray Kids works here so I got a chance to see Minho at least once a week!

Wait, what am I saying?!

Wake up, Han Jisung!

"Alright! The break is done. Let's get right back where we stopped."

Enough thinking about Stray Kids.

I need to focus now!
