Chapter 6

Han Jisung

"We decided to make you a member of Stray Kids," PDnim said making me go in awe.

"Make me what?!"

"We're making you a member of Stray Kids, Han Jisung." JYP PDnim said with a smile.

"But... Why me? I'm just a new trainee." I said looking at the ground.

"Why you? You're talented, Jisung! You can almost do all of the talents qualified to be an idol." JYP said. I felt overwhelmed by how he complimented me.

I didn't know that someone would actually tell me these words. I felt like I'm on a cloud 9 because of someone highly respected person like JYP PDnim complimented my talent.

"By the way, I'll make Ms Gwan fetch you later. Stray Kids need to meet you. Get ready!" JYP said before I left.

I uneasily walked to our studio with a shaky smile.

"--gwang, one more!" Ian hyung's voice welcomed me after I opened the studio's room.

"Oh! Han Jisung is back!" The other trainee pointed out. I just smiled at them.

"What did JYP say, hyung?" Taegwang asked. I looked at him and he's still dancing. He's not even giving a single glance.

He continued dancing while looking at his reflection on the mirror in front of us, sternly.

"I..." I somehow couldn't say anything.

"You?" Taegwang asked again.

A part of me felt like he's being rude because of asking me without looking at me and to be honest, that's not Taegwang.

"I'm gonna be a member of Stray Kids." I quietly said while looking down. Silence ruled over us. Even Taegwang stopped dancing.

"S-Stray K-Kids?" Taegwang asked. His voice is giving me bad vibes.

"Yeah. PDnim said that I should get ready because he'll introduce me to the members later." I said.

"Ey. There's no need for introducing you. They already know you." He informally said making my eyes look at him. And I felt like his words are a double meaning.

Taegwang...

"Taegwang." Ian hyung said with a warning voice.

"Ah! My bad. I guess I forgot to use honorifics right, Jisung-ah?" He said before sending me a deadly glare through the mirror in front of us.

I got chills because of how Taegwang's turned so much. The once cheerful Taegwang turned into the complete opposite.

"Taegwang." Ian hyung said again with a warning voice but this time, a bit louder than the first one.

"Tsk." Taegwang grabbed his tumbler before walking towards the door where I'm standing close to.

He forcefully bumped my shoulders with his and honestly, that hurts!

I grew concern about Taegwang.

"Woah, here he goes again!"

"His jealousy strikes again!"

"He never learned, isn't he?"

Here he goes again?

Again? Did this happen before?

His jealousy?

I need answers!

Lee Minho

I walked out of our studio to fetch some water at the water fountain. I was close to it when somebody slammed their tumbler at it making me froze.

"Aish! This is not happening! No! He can't be a member!" I heard a familiar voice said.

The person wiped his forehead making me see his face.

Choi... Taegwang?!

My eyes quickly widened. Of all days, why today?

"Aish! He's getting into my nerves! First, Chan and Felix know him! Now, he's being a member of Stray Kids?! Bullshit!" I heard him mumble.

Someone's gonna be a member of Stray Kids?

I sighed before walking over and pushing him a little to fill my tumbler with water.

"Ya! Minho!" This boy really didn't know how to use honorifics! Tsk!

"What? You want me to teach you how to use honorifics? Huh?" I said with a pissed voice.

"No need. I don't need those honorifics! That's all shits!" He smugly said.

Calm down, Lee Minho. He's just a trainee. You're an idol.

"Did I ask you? Tsk!" I said before turning my back at him. I was about to open our studio's room when he spoke.

"Hey, Minho! Get ready. Stray Kids will fall soon. Trust me."

My knuckles went white because of how hard my gripped were in our studio's door handle.

He really can't move on, isn't he?

Choi Taegwang.

I already know how your little brain works.

I won't let you destroy Stray Kids.

Even tho someone's gonna be a member of Stray Kids.

Han Jisung

My mind is still not functioning that well because of what happened earlier. I can't handle things like this so easily.

Some things that are harsher than this actually sent me into a traumatized state for a few days or more.

I can't handle mental stress that well. That's why my dad made an agreement. He doesn't want me to go but he doesn't want to destroy my dreams either so he left the decisions on me.

"Mr Han." I heard a female voice call me.

"Yes?"

"Mr Park said that he'll introduce you to Stray Kids now." Ms Gwan said. He guided me up to JYP PDnim's white office.

I knocked first before opening the door. JYP immediately stood up upon seeing me.

"Ja. Let's go." He said with a smile before going out. We walked up to the studio across from ours.

"Wait here. When I gestured, enter inside." JYP said.

"Alright," I replied with a fond smile.

JYP entered inside leaving the door open. I hide my body but I can still see JYP.

I nervously turned my head to the side only to be welcomed with Taegwang's stern face.

"Are you happy? Well, don't worry. It'll go soon." He said with a scary voice before patting me for 2 times in my shoulder making me flinch by the sudden contact.

I'm scared! Stop!

He walked. He stopped in front of the opened door. I think he's looking for someone inside. After a few seconds, he just smirked before walking away.

I forced myself to shake it off and just wait for JYP's gesture. My eyes are getting teary as my knees are getting weaker as every second passed.

My heart is beating so fast. I can literally hear every beat it produces loudly and clearly.

"--please enter inside." I heard JYP's voice bringing me back to reality. I slowly stepped inside looking at the ground.

"Please introduce yourself," JYP instructed me.

"Hi. I'm... I'm Han Jisung." I said with a shaky voice. My eyes are getting all blurry because of the tears that are starting to form.

Control yourself, Han Jisung.

Just for today.

Lee Minho

"Good morning, PDnim!" We all greeted him with a bow.

We're practicing District 9 when PDnim entered inside.

Fuck.

Here it goes!

"Good morning, Stray Kids. Are you practising?" He asked us. We all answered quick yes.

"I'm here because I want to tell you something," JYP said. The others looked so nervous. I mean, who wouldn't be?

"You're having a new member," JYP said. Various reactions filled the air. All of them are shocked.

My eyes casually shifted to the opened door when I felt someone looking at me. I saw how Taegwang sent me death glares.

I looked at him with bored eyes. I blinked for multiple times sending him a morse code. He just smirked at me before walking away.

The morse code? It meant 'Stop'.

You might be wondering how I got to learn how to send morse code with just blinking. I learned it from Taegwang.

Yeah. Him.

We're old friends. We're almost like twins. We're inseparable. Not until I got to enter Stray Kids.

I became busy with practicing every day and planning our debut that I didn't notice that I didn't talk to Taegwang that much.

I stopped hanging out with him. I stopped visiting him in their studio.

And because of his naive age, he couldn't handle that properly. He started to hate me. He can't understand the fact that I'm preparing for our debut us a group with Stray Kids.

I'm older than him by 2 years. But he doesn't use honorifics. At first, I didn't take it easy. But as time passed, I got used to it.

But this is too much!

Threatening Stray Kids is fucked up.

"--please enter inside," JYP said bringing me back to reality. I completely forgot about the new member because of Taegwang!

The new member entered inside. He was looking at the floor so I can't see his face.

"Jisung?" I heard Felix mumble beside me.

Jisung? What...

"Please introduce yourself," JYP said with a smile.

"Hi. I'm... I'm Han Jisung." I was left in awe when I heard him say his name.

No way...

I can hear Felix's quiet squeals beside me.

Do they know each other?

"Alright! I'll leave you with them! Please treat him well!" JYP said before walking out.

Jisung falls into his knees making us go concern. Felix acts faster than anyone of us.

"Ji? Are you alright?" Felix asked. I walked closer to them.

I can hear faint sobs coming from him. I wasn't ready to hear him crying. Felix immediately hugged him.

Damn! This gives me back the memories last night.

"Calm down, Ji! Calm down." Felix said while hugging Jisung.

But I wasn't more ready when I heard him muttered something.

"Taegwang... He's scary..."

My blood immediately boiled after what I heard.

Choi Taegwang.

I won't let you hurt him again.

You're dead when we meet again.

Be careful.
