But, I say that actions speak louder then words...
That all changed, when I met him
The way he laughed,
His smile,
His everything made me fall for him.

I was to late

Kai knew where Cole had went, to his father's house. He didn't die, he was alive still. Kai helped with everything, fooling the others into thinking that he was dead.

He wasn't dead
And
He wasn't doing well

"Hey, Cole, you ok?" A worried Kai asked Cole. The black haired male nodded, but the hothead knew he was lieing "Cole, what's going on? Are you still fighting for Nya?" The earth ninja shook his head quickly "No, I'm not fighting for Nya..." The fire ninja knew what he was talking about "I known what you mean, you-" "Yes, I love him"

Kai stood there and nodded. Cole sighed "I knew you would react like this... No one will love me Kai, I know that for a fact" Kai looked at Cole like he was crazy "That's not true, look, why don't you tell Jay how you feel? I'll be beside you the whole time, ok?"

Cole nodded and stood up. It was a day before the ninja were giving up and accepting the fact that Cole was 'Dead'. They have been searching for months, Lou helped them out.

Kai smiled and helped him through to get the confidence to do this.

"Thanks Dad for the stay"
"I'm always here for you, just show him how you feel, don't explain"
"What do you mean dad?"
"I mean that actions speak louder then words, but also, it's the best and worst thing about love"

Kai and Cole let that sink in as they walked out.

××Time Skip××

Cole and Kai made it to their home. It felt different for Cole, very different. It wasn't as cheerful or happy anymore, it was gloomy and dark.

Kai opened the door and walked in, Cole following him, not to closely though.

"I have a guest with me" Kai said, smiling a bit "Who is it Kai? Not like we need more fans here cheering us up" Nya grumbled

Cole looked around the corner and there he was. Cole walked right in front of him and stood there, the others didn't notice him yet.

When Jay looked up, his heart stopped.

The world stopped completely,
It was almost unworldly.
There was something that filled the air,
A different type of care.
Something Jay never felt for Nya,
A thing he never knew until now...

Jay stood up immediately and hugged Cole as tight as he could. He knew Cole was standing there because he hugged back. "COLE!" He sobbed into the males chest.

Zane and Lloyd came running in quickly. Nya looked up and looked at Jay and Cole. Kai looked over to them.

Jay continued to sob into his chest "I'm sorry! I didn't mean what I did! I-" he was cut off by Cole petting his hair and shushing him softly. Cole knew what the shorter male meant "Jay, can we talk alone?"

Jay nodded quickly and lead Cole to his room, closing the door after "I can't really say this, Jay, but I can show you" Jay nodded "What is it?"

Cole gently placed his lips on the lightning ninja's. Jay blushed, but didn't hesitate to kiss back. Both pulled away after a few seconds.

"My dad once told me 'The best and worst thing about love is, you can never put it into words'"

Jay smiled and hugged him again
"I love you, Cole"
"I love you too, Jay"
