"Jay, have you seen Cole?" Nya asked the lighting ninja, who was currently playing a video game "No, No I haven't, why?" "It's weird, he hasn't been here at all. I haven't checked his room yet, can you?" The blue ninja nodded and stood up after pausing his game.

Jay walked to Cole's room and knocked on the door, "Cole? You there? Nya and I are getting really worried for you" he was met with silence. The blue ninja sighed and opened Cole's door, to see him not in there. "That's strange... Cole wouldn't disappear like that." Jay walked around the room, having a bad feeling. He saw a note on the nightstand beside Cole's bed.

Jay picked up the note with a bit of a delay, but what he read made his heart stop completely. The note had red splatters on it and the writing was a bit washed away from something, blood, sweat, and tears. The note said...

Dear, Jay and everyone,

I know I should move on,
But I feel like I can't.
She chose him for a reason,
But I still can't get over it.

Why didn't he chose me?
Instead, he chose her.
The fighting won't continue,
Because I'll be gone.

Hope you love it with Nya,
Have a great life.
It really is stupid,
To cry over someone who won't cry over you.

I won't be needed anymore,
So this is my last goodbye to everyone,
Even more for Jay.
I hope it'll just be ok...
With me out of the way.

Jay collapsed to his knees and cried "NO!! COLE!!!" He started sobbing, holding the note close to his chest, scared if he let go of it, he would let go of his best friend forever.

All the others came in to see Jay sobbing on the floor, a crying wreak "Jay? What happened? Where's Cole??" Kai questioned "HE'S GONE!!" they all looked confused "Jay, what do you mean by that? Wait, what's that note in your hands?" Zane questioned "It's my fault... This is all my fault..." Jay said "It's my fault he's gone..." "Jay... what happened? Please don't-" Jay only nodded which made him cry more. The blue ninja handed the note to Kai, who read it out loud to everyone.

Jay stood up and ran to his room, where he cried in his pillow more "I feel sorry, because I would cry over you..." he whispered and fell into a deep sleep, where he hoped he would never wake up again...
