( just so you guys know, this is basically a crossover idea with Lord of the rings and Asoiaf. As they are both my favorite fantasy worlds. With rich history and lore and I came up with this wonderful idea of course in my mind.
But just remember don't take it too seriously just some silly idea I had in my head for a few days now. But I hope you guys enjoyed reading this characters lore.)

History

Early age
Jaerelon Raenlaeron was born in Valyria and was said to be a Handsome young man and was said to be wise and cunning. But filled with ambition in his young youth.

He wanted to be a warrior growing up, as he loved the stories told of how his people defeated the Old Empire of Ghis, and how they established colonies to the west and north after defeating the Andals and the Rhoynar in Essos.

Jaerelon had many friends such as Viselarr Raengaeron and Vaemorys Nohareon. As the three men trained in the ways of the warrior. But being a warrior was not the only thing Jaerelon loved, he loved the arts and reading books.

He also loved traveling, as it was one of his most favorite things to do in life, with his dragon Kavarthon. Who he will spend a lifetime of battle with. As he traveled to Volantis, Myr and Lys.

Becoming Lord of house Raenlaeron

When in the year 230 BC, Jaerelon would become lord of his house at the age of 20, and was the youngest ruler of his house. Filled with ambition and such.

He would marry his sister wife Jelaehrys, as a way of keeping their bloodline pure as most Valyrian families often do. And have at least three children, two sons and one daughter. He would crush a local rebellion with ease. Leading the campaign Himself.

But the mighty Valyrian warrior had always been an ambitious one and even thought of himself being an Emperor of Valyria even, but his ambitions would never come to pass of course. As he lived in a time and place when the Valyrian freeholds were at their most powerful.

He would kill however his main rivals, as he often played the game alongside those in power and influence. This was his way of showing his more ruthless side of his nature in fire and blood. While yes his family house was not a major house and more of a minor house like House Targaryen.

But besides politics and crushing Slave revolts and such. Jaerelon was quite a family man, since he loved his family very much and his subjects truly did see growth and status.

As when he reached his 30's, his children had already grown and were competent warriors and dragon riders in their own right.

The Fateful Meeting

The meeting with Sauron or better known as Annatar the Lord of Gifts. As he would meet upon the Mighty Valyrian lord as he saw a man with pointed ears and he seem fair and just. Almost like a living god.

Annatar would talk with Jaerelon as of course from Sauron's experience, corrupting the hearts of men was easy as it was. As their greed, ambition or anything could simply corrupt the best of men. Even a mighty Dragon rider.

Sauron would Bring Jaerelon a Ring that had beautiful silver to it, Beautiful red gem and two looking grey dragons on the ring. It looked so beautiful and such. That Jaerelon could not take his eyes off it. As he took it and thanked this stranger for bringing him such a gift.

Sauron would complement him, in saying that he is the mightiest of all the dragon lords and that he with the ring will accomplish great things for his house and family. And that he is a dragon and that he Carries in him fire and blood.

The Downfall of Jaerelon Raenlaeron

The Downfall Jaerelon was sad as it was as his sister wife Jelaehrys and heir children would noticed huge amount of change in Jaerelon as he began to Take interest in Dark magic and that the ring was affecting him in a very bad way.

And Jelaehrys never liked that Annatar as she felt that the beautiful creature brought some evil to their house and evil that was corrupting her brothers very soul as he was in many ways a loving family man and he was a great Husband.

Jaerelon would grow more and more ambitious and cruel. And his sons and daughter were becoming more and more threats to him by the growing day. One day , Jelaehrys would confront her husband to tell him to take the ring off since it was affecting him.

However Jaerelon would refuse to take it off, as he felt that he would be afraid, and how only he could hold it and not her nor his family, but with his sanity crumbling, the last goodness from Jaerelon told his beloved sister and wife, to flee and warn her children. To tell them that he loved them and that they'll never see him again. As his wife and children were his pride and joy and that he cherished them deeply within his heart. This was his last act of kindness he would be remembered of in his family and house.

Jelaehrys would then kiss her brother and husband one last time before fleeing. And next several months, Jaerelon would declare his house independent from the Valyrian Freehold, as his sons and daughter would rise against him.

However Jaerelon's 2 year rebellion would end but he would escape, as his life was from then on turned dark and evil as he took his dragon and fled to the shadow lands never to be seen again.

His family would survive after Jaerelon but they would escape the doom and flee to westeros.

The Red Dragonknight Nazgul

Jaerelon would be along with none other then his ring and he would finally turn into a Nazgul and serve Sauron and his will as the ring he bore and wear now brings nothing but darkness and evil to his now corrupted soul.

Not much is known of Jaerelon's current wear bouts as those that do know only describe a Red knight in Dragon looks, hence a Dragonknight, or they see a Shadow with a black Robes and as hunting as the darkness

As they say he is a bringer of death and Carrying a Ring on his finger, this was only talked about the very few that survived these tales as they also say he can talk in a voice that sounded of death and evil.

Apparently a Man who traveled to the ruins of Valriya once spotted a man in his red Dragonknight armor proclaiming himself lord of Valyria. As he would soon disappeared like a hunting Ghost.

but however in the times of Aegon's conquest to even roberts rebellion and so on. The tale of this Wraith lord is noting but myth and legend among the surviving Valyrian house Targaryen or Velaryon.

Since the hunting legend of Jaerelon Raenlaeron still runs deep and for those who read on his tale are either skeptical or that the man and never existed at all or did exist and just became rather romanticized.
