"so now you like her but why would you lie in the first place to hide your identity" Jungkook asked.

"At first I didn't have any thoughts about liking her neither did I know what a great personality she has. Later when I started liking her, that's when i realized how far I've come with my lies" I said feeling uneasy.

"You sure you genuinely like her?" Jungkook asked looking deep into my eyes.

"Anyone would want her, she is just perfect to be around with and a life partner like her would be great" I shrugged my shoulders.

Jungkook nodded n took a deep breath while raising his arm to lean on my shoulder.

"Just try being honest, further lies would just make it worse" He said.

I agree, further lies would make it worse but isn't there some other way around?

I guess not.

"just give it a shot, trust me it should be fine" Jungkook said while nodding his head. "just text her n ask her to meet you tomorrow" He continued.

We never exchanged our numbers.

I'll just walk to the cafe again n if she's there, it'd be great.

I was impatiently waiting for the clock to strike 2 so I could head out n meet her.

It was usually 2 o'clock in the noon when she would visit the cafe.

This is gonna be hard, I really hope she understands me.

It was 2:01 pm when my alarm went off, breaking the chain of my thoughts.

I quickly grabbed my sunglasses n mask n rushed out to meet her.

I tried glancing into the mirrors to check out if she was there but I could hardly see anything due to the dark windows which were transparent only from the inside.

I walked in n looked over all the tables to find her.

There she was, working on her laptop with a cup of coffee on the side.

How do I approach her? Wouldn't I look like a creep if I directly walk n start talking?

Like as if I'm trying to follow her or something.

I quickly dialed jk's number for some help.

"hmm" He answered.

"I'm trying to do exactly how you told me but I really don't know how to walk upto her n start a conversation" I said.

"just casually walk n start talking, at first you might sound like a creep but eventually when you reveal it should be fine" I can already feel his sleepy voice.

Such a great advice, he is sleepy n that's why I suppose he gave me this great idea.

Mental eyeroll*

I took baby steps towards her table, I could feel my heart beat racing with each step I took closer.

I tried waving first to grab her attention as I was almost near her table.

But she was way too much into her laptop to even notice me.

I cleared my throat to grab her attention but it was clearly a fail.

Am I being ignored or something?

"Min jun" I called her name out. "Oh hi" She glanced at me but her gaze shifted back into her laptop.

She is really busy. Is it even the correct time?

"would you mind having a conversation with me?" I asked not being sure how it would go.

As far as I predict, she is one of my fan girl n she won't really reject me. Will she?

"yeah but just a minute, I have some work pending" She said n I nodded.

She glanced back at me after a few seconds. "have a seat, I'm not giving you any punishment like those elementary teachers" She said while patting the chair next to her.

I took a seat on the chair n watched how she entered all the data.

Impressive.

After clicking enter she breathe a sigh of relief.

"sorry I was really caught up with this but lemme just forward this file n I'm done for today" She said while logging into her mail n forwarding the file.

After the file was sent, she shut her laptop n faced towards me.

"so, what's up" She asked. "I just wanted to have a conversa- can we talk? I asked.

She nodded with a confused look.

"no, not here. Somewhere out if you don't mind, it's totally fine if you mind" I shrugged my shoulders n tried my best to not sound like a creep.

"oh it's totally fine we can have a walk" She gave a warm smile n we walked out the cafe.

"So tell me" She looked at me. "I actually" I trailed off not knowing where to start from.

"it's okay be comfortable, have a seat" She pointed towards the nearest bench n I nodded while having a seat.

"I don't know where to start from n neither do I know how things will unfold n how will you react but I'm hoping for a positive reaction but again, I would never force you n it's totally your decision which i'll accept at the end of the day" I quickly spoke looking in the opposite direction.

"oooo something sounds very serious" She chuckled.

"yeah it kinda is, I- I have actually lied to u. Infact I've been lying to you about everything" I said still not facing her n looking in the opposite direction.

"what is it" Her tone had some stiffness by now.

"I'm not really the one whom I'm trying to portray myself as" I could feel a lump in my throat.

There was silence. She didn't speak a word.

I removed my sunglasses n mask to face towards her.

Her eyes widened n she covered half of her face with her palm when she gasped.

"I know this isn't right, the way I tried hiding my identity n kept lying about almost everything. I really thought I would get away with this once I go back to Seoul but the feelings started to grow n now I don't even know how terrible this will end or how good it would go. I'll always respect your choice n I'm sorry" I said n her eyes were still widened.

There was silence n I choosed to wear my mask again before anyone else could look at me.

"I should just leave for now" Before I could stop her she quickly stood up n walked away.
