Chapter 2

Taehyung's p.o.v -

Being famous is all fun n games until u can't really go out with people hovering over u. People being all excited to see u n keep following u.

I don't mean i didn't like it but some days u just wanna be alone n live a life of a normal human being.

I grabbed my mask n sunglasses to head out by covering my face beneath the mask so no one could actually identify me.

"U sure u wanna go out alone?" my manager spoke.

"yeah it will be fine, don't worry" I said while closing the door.

Driving down the street, no one really recognized me because of the mask and sunglasses.

There was this time when I tried doing the same thing but everyone could still recognize me through my eyes but this time sunglasses really did help.

I walked into a cafe and ordered hot chocolate milk for take out meanwhile i took a sit in the corner.

"you're really crazy about him" my head snapped over two girls who were loud enough.

"please not again" the other one spoke while keeping her phone aside.

"you know right that he doesn't even remember you after the fansign event and he might have also met several different people that day" she shrugged.

"I know, he might not know me but everything looked so dreamy when he asked me to help him wear the watch. Specially when my hand was in contact to his wrist" she pouted

"ahh pabo, you really need to snap yourself out of it"

I looked over my wrist n it was the same watch which i never took off after the event.

After paying out, i drove towards the nearest park and thanks to my dark tinted car windows through which no one could really see me

Unless a creep person tries to creep in.

My eyes were wandering around when i saw a crowd around a tree. Something doesn't feel right.

I quickly walked out to see what the matter was and if i was capable of helping it.

A girl climbed over the tree to rescue a cat while everyone kept starring n not helping. What a cruel world we live in.

"hold on let me help u" I quickly spoke by gesturing her to hand over the cat first. Generous of her to think about cat and helping it.

She held the branch with her arm around it and held the kitten with other hand and passed it towards me.

I quickly placed the kitten down and helped her to climb down and that was the moment when i realized she was the same girl from the cafe.

"thank you" she gave a warm smile. She had soft palm, wanting me to hold it for longer.

I really liked soft hands.

"no don't thank me, but u should have thought about your safety first while climbing up" i spoke while she widened her eyes at me as if she was recognizing who i am.

I quickly cleared my throat n let go off her hand.

"your voice sounds familiar" she had a confused look while trying her best to see through my sun glasses.

"I should be going" I quickly made my way towards the car.

"sorry" she spoke with sad tone. "for?" I raised my eyebrow at her.

"for making u feel uneasy" she felt guilty for a tiny thing?

I was still processing why would she feel guilty about this?

She turned to walk away and i had an urge to stop her because i felt bad for making her guilty with dumb act of mine.

She was a sweet person, no doubt but making such good people feel bad wasn't in my nature.

"I'm sorry" I quickly replied and she turned around to look at me. "I'm sorry i didn't mean to make u feel bad by walking away"

"ah it's totally fine" she said with a warm smile.

"umm" i really wanted to keep the conversation going.

Maybe because i felt a sorry wasn't enough?

"would u mind getting a coffee with me?" I asked smiling through the mask as if it would be seen.

"mm okay suree" she gave a cute smile. We ordered a coffee from the nearest cafe and walked towards the park to have a seat.

"thank you again for helping me out" she spoke breaking the silence between.

"it's okay u don't have to thank me, it was very nice of u to help a kitten while everyone just stood their starring" I said.

"it's okay they might have their own reasons to not being able to climb or maybe it could be anything" she spoke and i really liked how positive she was about the mean people who choosed to not help her.

Only rare people like her exist in this cruel world. It's nice to meet someone who still cares about everything around her unlike the selfish people who only think about themselves.

"I really think your voice is familiar to someone i know" she spoke while taking a sip from her coffee.

"I don't think so, many people have similiar voices and u might be mistaken" I quickly shrugged my shoulders.

"hmm might be" she said. "don't u feel suffocated while wearing a mask for so long? I mean u can take it off to drink your coffee" she spoke while trying to look into my eyes.

"It was nice meeting you but i guess i should be going, I have somethings to catch up with" i spoke gently.

"oh sure no problem. It was nice meeting you" she gave a warm smile and waved a bye as I turned around to walk away.

Only if I wasn't afraid to take my mask off, I would've stayed longer.
