For some reason, I have a very difficult time with imagining Tai Lung's physical voice when I'm writing a fan story. In fact, sometimes I actually have to watch scenes with him talking in order to better shape his dialogue to match his voice and character! I don't know why! I mean, I'll sometimes have trouble with remembering what each person sounds like, but I practically have their scenes memorized so it's not a problem. But with Tai Lung....

I don't know. I feel like he has three different voices! Like, in some scenes he has a grainy sounding voice, in some scenes his voice is very low...almost like one of those smooth crime boss kind of people. And then some scenes I feel like his voice is throaty and with a much higher tone. I'm sure all of these go together, but every time I try to imagine him speaking in one of my stories, I can't get these three tones to mix together into one solid character. They just feel so distinct that it feels like a mental challenge whenever I'm writing for him!

Does anyone else have this problem?
