— Y'all have no idea how much I use to love Voltron. That shit was my life when I was a kid. When I found out they made a new one I flipped the hell out. Legendary Defender is amazing and I highly recommend it! Shiro is honestly my space dad that I love with all my heart. And Lance is my Cuban baby. And Hunk is my Polynesian smol child. And Keith is such a babe. And Pidge is so precious I love her. Anyways, I casted Shiro with a Japanese/Brazilian actor because I honestly have the biggest headcanon that Shiro is Japanese/Brazilian. Here's some reasons why I totally stan this headcanon:

Like y'all need to stan Japanese/Brazilian Shiro. Anyways, back to the rest of the casting. Keith is also casted with a Japanese/Brazilian actor because well I also have this huge headcanon that Shiro and Keith are related some way. For my Cuban baby Lance I casted the perfect Cuban actor. For Pidge I casted a beautiful and intelligent latina actress. And for the smol Hunk I casted a great Polynesian actor! Honestly, casting Hunk was the hardest because there are hardly any Polynesian actors out there! Like what is up with that? In the end I tried my best to find a Polynesian actor that fitted Hunk the best.
