You, Lance and Bobbi, have made it back to the SHIELD bunker. 

"excuse me," Agent Phill Coulson says to get your attention

"Oh sorry I forgot this is (Y/N) my sister (Y/N) my boss Agent Phill Coulson," Lance says awkwardly introducing him 

"yes Bobbi mentioned you picked someone up," Coulson says as he offers his hand to shake 

"nice to meet you," you say as you shake his hand 

"any way you have some explaining to do," Coulson says reminding you of the fact that you have to explain what a former HYDRA agent is doing in a SHIELD facility 

"yes I do" you reply thankful that he has reminded you

Two minutes later and you and the team are in the recreational area and you've also have been introduced to everyone

"so how did you end up in a HYDRA base," Dasiy asks 

"well that's where things get complicated," 

Flashback

you are at SHIELD base one in the Arctic. You've been assigned to protect professor Callaghan who is looking at whether or not the cold can affect Chitauri technology.

"so professor have you made any progress yet?" you ask because you are curious to know 

"Well yes because I've got the stuff here but no because I can't fire a gun without being scared" he replies a little ashamed 

"that's ok that's why I'm here," you say calming him down

"thank..." but he is cut off by a massive explosion.

Thirty minutes later you walk up to find yourself covered in rubble and you can hear voices

"Hail HYDRA" you hear someone say

"Hail my ass" you hear professor Callaghan snarl in reply then you hear a gunshot and out of the corner of your eye you see the professor's slumped body.

"over here we've got someone," one of the HYDRA soldiers says as he spots you

"Hail HYDRA," he says pointing a gun to your head 

"Hail HYDRA" you parrot back knowing that everything you have known has come to an end even your brother's life. A single tear runs down your cheek

"we've got one let's get her out," the man says as he starts clearing rubble from around you 

Five munites later they've gotten you free. You groan because you are in so much pain

"we should get you to the triage area, what's your name," the man asks

"(Y/N) Jones" you reply lying about your last name

Two minutes later and they have taken you to the triage area and you regret saying hail HYDRA. You see the man looking at a device.

"(Y/N) Jones I've never head that name before are you new?" The man that rescued you asks

"It's my first week" you reply in pain

Six months later and you've risen through the ranks to become HYDRA's second best

"(Y/N) you know those people you've found going after the weapons haul?" your commanding officer says 

"you need to interrogate them"

"And that's how I got here," you say recounting the events that lead up to you adding Lance and Bobbi in their escape

"and we can trust you sorry for asking but the last person who was HYDRA betrayed us," Jemma Simons asks remembering her time on the bottom of the ocean with Fitz

"I understand it will take time but you can trust me, my allegiances have changed for good because of yours truly over there," you say pointing to Hunter and you also say it in the knowledge that HYDRA's best agent Agent Ward was part of this team

"any other questions?"

"who's worst you or Lance?" Bobbi asks

"her" Lance chimes in 

"yeah only because I fractured your leg in opps training" you retort

"how did that happen?" May asks

Hunter glances at you and you death stare him back

"We were sparing and things got out of hand and by that I mean he full on kicked me in the shin and the next day Lance  found out he had a hairline fracture from him kicking me in the shin" you reply getting a giggle from the girls

"That's not the worst thing you're guilt"

"Apples and oranges" you say cutting Hunter off
