The morning sun began its rise over the horizon and shined its light down upon the land to let everyone know the day has now begun. The warm radiating light pierced through the window of your room as you were sprawled out in bed, but you weren't alone as Akane was laid on top of your chest, the two of you both sleeping soundly as there were some marks around both yours and her eyes from wiping the tear away from last night. Akane's head would move up and down on your chest as you had your arms on her head and back. With the new day beginning, Akane's internal clock began its usual schedule and with that and the warmth of the sun, she began to stir awake. She tried to open her eyes, but because she was facing towards the window, her vision was blinded by the morning rays and she turned her head away to try and regain vision. Whilst waiting for her eye sight to return, Akane heard a strange noise coming from the side of the bed, and as her vision returned she could vaguely make out the shape of a person crouched down face to face with her. With a tired look and some drool rolled out of the side of her mouth, Akane's vision returned and she saw Suzu staring at her with a smug look on her face. 

"Okay, say cheese~" Suzu said as she snapped a photo of Akane laid on top of you like a baby. "Fufufu~ What do we have going on here with you and our dear brother, my sweet Akane~?" Suzu asked as Akane finally finished waking up and snapped to her senses when she realized the embarrassing pose she was in and was about to make an outburst, but Suzu raised her hand to her face as Akane looked like an embarrassed puppy waving her hands around. "'Kay, stop~! Don't worry, I won't show anyone this picture and I won't pry too much on why you slept here instead of back in our room. I just wanna know one thing..." Suzu trailed off as Akane had a surprised look when her sister suddenly reached out and moved some strands of hair blocking Akane's face and rubbed her thumbs near the tear stain marks on her face. "...did you get to say what you wanted to say to each other?" She asked as Akane remembered you and her breaking the emotional wall between you two and finally accepting each other into your lives. 

"Unn..." Akane nodded her head with a very small smile as Suzu also smiled while reaching her other hand over to brush her fingers gently through your head as you hummed from the touch.

"Good..." Suzu said with genuine happiness for her sister as she pulled her hands away from her siblings and stood up from the floor as Akane watched her raise her phone up with the picture. "...but, I wonder how Momma and Papa would react to this photo~?" She said with a mischievous smirk as Akane's eyes widened with fear and embarrassment. 

"D-DON'T DO IT!!!!!!" Akane yelled as she sprung to her feet, but the first step she took, was planted right onto your stomach.

"BLEURGH!!!!" Your eyes shot wide open and you spat your tongue out of your mouth from suddenly being stepped on and you went limp as Akane leapt out of the bed chasing after Suzu who was laughing running around your room.

"AHAHAHAHAHA~! Your face! It's priceless!" Suzu was laughing as she did her best to avoid being caught by Akane in her most flustered state.

"Delete that picture...right now!" Akane said with a huge blush on her face as the door to your room opened and in walked a tired Lily wearing pj's and a night cap.

"Jeez...it's too early for you to be causing such a ruckus, Suzu..." Lily said with her eyes still closed, but then she remembered which room she was next to and opened one eye half-way. "Huh? Isn't this Y/N's room?" Lily said still half asleep while trying to confirm what room she was in.

"Big Sis! Lookie look!" Suzu had ran over to Lily's side and wrapped an arm around her before showing Lily the picture as the older sister had to squinted to see what it was clearly. 

"Wha...?!" Lily had fully woken up when she saw the suggestive picture in front of her, and what really set her off was when she saw how in the photo, Akane's tank top strap was sliding off and beginning to reveal some cleavage. "Y/N...!" Lily's big sister instinct activated as she had fire in her eyes and marched straight towards you. 

"W-Wait, Sis! It's not what you think!" Akane yelled as a shadow loomed over your body and you weakly opened one eye to see who it was.

"Whaddya' do with my little sister last night, huh?" Lily asked while lifting one sleeve up her arm with a fist formed. 

"EEEEEEEKK!!!" You squealed in fear as Lily grabbed you by the throat and began rattling you around.

"Lily! Stop!" Akane yelled as she ran over to help you.

"AHAHAHA~! This is killin' me~! I wanna join, too!" Suzu said as she ran over and the two other sisters leaped into the action.

Hearing all of the ruckus first thing in the morning, your father and Anne both woke up and went over to see what all the fuss was about. When they reached the door, both of them had confused faces when they saw your sisters all thrashing around you while you were being tossed around in between them. Akane had an embarrassed look as she tried to help you, Lily looked like she wanted to kill you as she yelled with a delinquent accent, and Suzu was just laughing as hard as she could with tears in her eyes as she waved around the picture and also had an arm wrapped around you in humor. Your father just chuckled as Anne had a nervous smile watching you be thrashed around, and they left you four to a humorous situation to begin their own morning routines to get ready for the day. After Akane finally managed to address the situation you and her were in, all of you got ready for school and were having breakfast together, with both you and Akane sat next to one another with embarrassed and flustered faces as you awkwardly sipped water and she awkwardly ate a piece of steamed fish. 

"Soooo..." Suzu swayed side to side in her seat with a cheeky grin on her face as she ate a piece of tamagoyaki. "...Did you kiss Big Brother?" She asked as you spat out your water and Akane almost choked.

"SUZU!" Lily yelled at her younger sister with a blush on her face as Suzu held her stomach laughing.

"AHAHAHAHAHAHA~! This is too good-OW!" Suzu was suddenly silenced when a fist slammed on top of her head and formed a welt as Akane glared daggers at her and her fist raised.

"NOT. ANOTHER. WORD." Akane said in a menacing tone as you went back to awkwardly sipping your water as Anne happily stared at her four children with a smile.

"I don't think I've ever been this happy since you three girls were born. I can't help but still think about what we did to deserve all this..." Anne said as your father sat down next to her and placed his hand on top of hers. 

"You've been through enough already in the past. Now is the time for you to enjoy your lives and chase after your happiness." Your father said as Anne leaned her head on his shoulder and the door to the dining room opened to reveal a sleep Rin.

"Good morning..." Rin said in a tired voice as she was all ready in her school uniform and prepared to take on the day. "Ah, thanks for letting me sleep over, Mr.L/N." She thanked him as your father nodded.

"Don't mention it. You're always welcome in our home." Your father said to her as Amanda chimed in with a plate of food.

"Here you are, dear." Amanda walked over to Rin and handed her a plate of breakfast as she took her seat next to you. "Lily, would you like me to prepare your lunch for today? I remember you said you were going to be looking for some part time work today." Your dear maid asked as Lily shook her head.

"No, I'll just grab some lunch outside somewhere. I wanna learn where all the good food places here are and decide which ones will be my favorite." Lily said as you leaned your head over to look at her.

"Today my club doesn't practice, and we're gonna be going to the mall later. I can help you look for work by talking with some of the places I used to work at from time to time." You said as Lily smiled gratefully.

"That'd be great, thanks Y/N." Lily said as Rin looked confused.

"Huh? You're going to the mall after school? Why didn't I hear about this?" Rin asked as Suzu cheekily giggled while staring at Akane.

"Akane wants to buy some new cute clothes. And Y/N's gonna help her choose which one's she looks good in, right--OW!" Suzu was once again struck on the head by Akane as another welt formed on her cranium. "Jeez! Why'd ya hit me?! That hurts, Akane-MPHH!" Suzu was silenced when Akane shoved a piece of toast in her mouth.

"Don't they say breakfast is the most important meal of the day? Make sure to eat enough to get you through the day." Akane said fiercely while shoving the toast farther into Suzu's mouth as her sister muffled out cries for help, but you all just stared awkwardly, not wanting to provoke Akane's wrath.

After a chaotic start to the morning, the five of you said bye to your parents for the day and went off to the train station, stopping by the convenience store again for some small drinks and snacks. While sipping on some iced coffee, you were looking down on your phone checking to see what was going on in the world of social media. Scrolling through the post of some people, you weren't too interest in anything that you came across, but there was an event post that you saw and knew you couldn't pass up. Putting a pin on the post, you scrolled through a little more before deciding you were done reading the news online and came to a stop at a cross light that was red and waited patiently with everyone else. Whilst standing there swaying left and right slightly to try and amuse yourself, a finger tapped your shoulder and you turned with your straw in your mouth to see Lily standing across from you.

"Wassup?" You asked before going back to sipping on your iced coffee as Lily dug around in her bag before pulling out an envelope.

"This is a copy of my resume and other credentials. I was wondering if you could read it whenever you have time at school and come up with some suggestions on where I could work. That way we can narrow down some places at the mall we can check out first." Lily asked as you nodded before putting the envelope away in your bag. 

"You sure you wanna still find some work? You can just keep living at home and continuing your studies until you get into the field of work you wanna get into." You said as Lily shook her head.

"No, I don't think I could sit in such a big home doing nothing but studying. Plus I think we both share a common trait..." Lily trailed off as you turned to see her smiling brightly at you. "...We both learned that hard work is also important, so we choose to work and stay humble while being grateful for the things we have in our lives. I just have a lot more to be grateful for, and now I feel like I have to really work hard to make sure I deserve the things I have in my life." Lily said as you were surprised by her response, but you also felt a bit relieved from hearing this.

"I see." You finished with as you happily went back to sipping on your iced coffee as you finally made it to the station and caught the train to school.

After parting ways with Lily and continuing onwards to school, you three siblings and one childhood friend sat quietly in the train on your phones scrolling through social media. Getting bored of looking down at your phone, you put the device away in your pocket and leaned back in your seat to look around and try to find something interesting on the train to occupy your brain. While you looking around however, once your head turned to your right, you ended up looking at Akane who you hadn't noticed until you turned to her, was staring at you and you both ended up locking eyes awkwardly. Akane froze up from being caught, and when you made eye contact with her, the memories of this morning came back and she turned away in a flustered state as you just raised a confused brow before turning away as well. Akane felt a strange fuzzy feeling every time she would lock eyes with you, but for some reason, she wanted to stay by your side. She didn't know if it was because she finally found someone she could be around and feel like she mattered, or if it was because she felt safer around you and was doing it to stay away from others. Whilst she was sorting out her strange feelings and thoughts, the train came to a stop and you four continued your way to school. On the way to school, you would catch the occasional morning greetings from classmates you would see on the same route, and upon reaching your destination, you were greeted more by Ume who was standing at the front of the school's entrance making sure everyone looked according and that there would be no trouble.

"Good morning, Vice-Prez!" Suzu ran over and gave Ume a double peace sign with a huge smile as the vice president was surprised, but eventually smiled seeing her new friend.

"Good morning, Suzu." Ume greeted her back as she turned to see you, Akane and Rin walk up to her. "Good morning, you guys. How are things?" She asked hoping for a good answer.

"Vice-pres..." Akane spoke up as Ume looked at her intently before growing a surprised look when she saw Akane had a flustered look on her face. "W-Would you like to accompany us t-to...the mall? I could use some help looking for new clothes..." Akane struggled to finish that sentence was surprised, by had a relieved look, assuming now that things were good.

"Hmm...Who knows? The student council has been swamped recently with a bunch of work regarding club finances and events..." Ume trailed off as Akane seemed a bit dejected by this statement, but was surprised when Ume leaned closer to her to look her eye to eye. "Well, I'm sure my brother can handle things while I'm gone. Sure!" She finished before giving Akane an ear to ear smile.

"I-I can't wait..." Akane said while hiding her face once more as you chuckled at her flustered state before walking ahead of everyone.

"Well, the more the merrier. We can plan things out during break. See you inside, Ume." You waved to the vice-president as you four continued inside the school.

After heading inside and changing into your indoor shoes, Rin left to her class and said that she would meet up with you during the break, leaving you and your sisters to head off to your own class. Entering your classroom and greeting some of your classmates on your way to your desk, you were sat silently while reading through Lily's resume that she handed to you, and some of the things listed were interesting. Lily had worked three different part-time jobs before moving in with you and your father. She was going to university to become a marine biologist and was an ace student all throughout her time in High School, managing to score scholarships to various different universities that gave her an offer. Looking at her previous work, she had done a part-time job at a Ramen restaurant, worked for some time as a swimming instructor, and her last job was actually modelling for various, but famous magazine lines. Seeing this resume, you already knew that she was more than capable at handling any sort of job the mall would have available, and included in the envelope were a few pictures of her at those different jobs. You were impressed by how hard-at-work she looked in the picture of when she was at the Ramen shop, but when you got to her picture as a swimming instructor, you were wide-eyed when you saw how incredibly beautiful she looked in a one-piece swimsuit. Her curves and assets were all more than enchanting, and not wanting to think any strange thoughts, you shoved that picture to the back of the stack and closed your eyes to take a break. Looking at the last picture though, you were shocked by how insanely gorgeous she looked while working as a model. She wore a tight white crop-top shirt and cropped jean jacket that showed off a little four-pack of abs she had. Her pants were white and a little baggy as she wore a pair of designer sneakers and had the ankle parts of her pants rolled up. The cuffs on her jacket were also rolled up once and her hair was done in a high curly pony tail as she wore some crimson red lipstick and some eyeliner that made her eyes pop even more in the picture. You were jaw dropped by how insanely beautiful she looked, and it was hard to look away when the picture had the jacket on her slightly pulled off, to make her chest area stand out more. Whilst you were frozen in shock and mid-nosebleed of how beautiful your older step-sister looked, you felt a piercing glare coming from your right and slowly turned to see Akane staring at you annoyingly with a dark aura looming around her.

"Umm...I was just looking at what her resume had..." You said with a nervous gulp.

"...Perv." Akane said while turning away as you slumped in your seat while feeling your soul leave your body, not being able to deny how you looked when observing Lily's pictures, as this was indeed a chaotic start to the morning.
