David's pov

I didn't know what to think Remy was here. And now Virgil was crying hugging this guy I didn't know. Who Remy has somehow known,what was happening?

Virgil and the man said hello and sat back down. "I don't know what to say right now" Virgil said wiping his tears. Patton put a hand on his shoulder and rubbed it a bit.

"Well,it would be a good idea to start with explaining ourselves" Elliott as Virgil had called him said. I looked back to Remy who was sipping on his drink. He looked up from his phone.

"Right!" He said putting his phone in his bag.

"Ok so,what happened was after you decided to leave me I—

"Hey I did not leave you! I told you you could've come with me" I butted in.

"Ya well I didn't want to go around killing people at the time" he finished. I looked down at the table.

"Anyway,after you left I decided to go make friends,cuz I was like toats lonely"

"So then I found Elliott and ya!" He said gesturing to Elliott.

"Ummmm that doesn't explain much" Roman butted in.

"Ya how did you guys meet?!" Patton asked.

"Well me and David were friends when we were kids" Remy said.

"I managed to hide from Nathen,then I came looking for David" Remy looked down.

"I couldn't find him" he looked ashamed.

"Hey Remy it's not your fault" I said trying to reassure him.

"Well after David escaped he found me! And we were besties again...but then he went a little crazy. And soo I left" Remy explained.

Remy leaving me only made me more angry and set on destroying stuff. "How did you find Elliott?" Virgil asked

"He found me" Remy said sipping his coffee.

Elliott turned to Virgil "after" he looked at me "Well...ya know he got separated and I uh I got pretty depressed so I would often walk in the park. Well one day Rems over here ran into me because he was on his phone" Elliot said looking at Remy,Who laughed

"Ya I need to work on that" he said scratching his neck.

"Anyway,we became friends quickly. And teamed up to find you guys" and when we heard about Nathen and the hero's that had saved everyone. We knew it was you guys. So here we are" Elliott finished.

Virgil looked a little dumbfounded. "I'm sorry I couldn't stay with you Elliott" he said to his friend.

"It's ok,it wasn't your fault" Elliott said putting a hand on Virgil's shoulder.

Patton was slumped in his chair. He looked upset. I looked at Virgil who made eye contact with me. Then I looked to Patton trying to tell him,even Roman and Logan had noticed before Virgil did. And Logan was rubbing Patton's shoulder.

"Hey? What's wrong?" Virgil finally asked Patton. Patt sat up.

"Nothing,I'm just tired" he said.

"Same fam same!" Remy said sipping his coffee.

"Patt" Virgil said looking at him sadly. Patton look at all of us.

"I'll tell you later" he said slumping back into his chair.

I could tell he was pretty upset. He kept rubbing his eyes and fiddling with his necklace.

We continued to talk for around a hour. Patton not even really there. Virgil and Elliott caught up as did me and Remy.

But Patton kept making me feel sad. I wanted to help him. As Thomas' would've.
