After school, Maddie was in her room already doing some homework. Shawn knocked at the door. 

- What?

- Can I come i please, I want to talk to you. 

- Yeah.

Shawn entered and sat on the bed. 

- I just want to know, why don't you like me, because I know you don't.

- You know, it' not that I don't like you, it's that I don't like this new life that my mom decided I would have. I know a lot of thing I would rather not know. I would rather be at home, in my hometown. I just want my life to be the way it was. I was just about to be able to deal with my anxiety and the my mother told us we where moving out. It just got worse. I don't think I'll be able to go at school everyday without having a panic attack one day because it's so stressful. It's so easy for you and I hate it.

- I understand.

- No you don't

- I don't care what you think Madison, I swear I'll be there no matter what and if something happens to you and you need to talk or you just need someone to be there for you, I want you to come to me. The last thing your sister needs is to worry about you and I think the same thing for your mom.

- I would never go to my mother if I needed someone.

- Why?

- I don't trust her after what she did.

- What did she do?

- I don't want to talk about it.

- Ok.

- I need to do my homework but I'll tell you if I need anything.

The next day, the four siblings got to school. Maddie went to her locker and when she opened it a paper fell out of it. She took it and read it.

«I know some things from your past and I guess you don't want people to know about it.. If you want to keep your reputation as the new girl, do what I say.  »

Maddie quickly hid the paper in her locker. She was not sure if the person was serious but one thing was sure, she did not want people to know about her past. She started panicking and she did not think she would be able to stay at school because of her anxiety. She went home and tried to do her homework to get this stuff off her mind. When Mackenzie, Aaliyah and Shawn arrived home, they all went in her room to ask why she was not at school. 

- I did not feel well, I just wanted to rest. Now get out of my room please. 

They all got out but five minutes after, Shawn knocked at her door. 

- Can I talk to you?

- Yeah come in. 

- Uh.. Tell me what is really going on.

- You can't tell anyone

- It's okay.

- So when I went to my locker this morning I found a paper saying they know secrets from my past and I have to do what they will tell me to do..

- From your past? What about your past?

- I seriously don't want to talk about it.

- Okay. But how could someone from the school know?

- I only see one way.. Mackenzie probably told one of her new friendsand maybe those friends aren't good friends..

- You will have to talk to Mackenzie.
