"Nii-chan! Let's go play, the weather is really nice out," I said to a boy with blonde hair and red eyes.

He looked back at me with sadness in his eyes and said, "Choko, no matter what happens, you must stay strong. I won't be able to play with you anymore."

I was confused. What does he mean by we wont play anymore? My thoughts were interrupted by him saying something that I will never forget as long I live. "Goodbye Lu-chan... Forever."

I looked up from where I was laying down I saw I was in a dusty room. It looked old and like no came I'm here. I tried to remember what happened until it all came back to me.

I was being chased by my step-dad. He had a look of lust and chased me around. As I was running, I found a staircase. I didn't know where it went, but at the time I didn't have a choice. I went up the stairs and I saw a door and not having anywhere else to go, I ran in.

I passed out from fatigue after that though. I stood up from where I slept and walked around examining where I was. 'It looks like a abandoned room or an attic of some sort.'

I looked around until I saw a bunny. It was white with blue and red buttons for eyes and had a stitched on mouth. I walked over to it and picked it up. I smiled and said, "Your new name is Momo. I hope we can become friends, I never had any really."

When I said that I heard a loud banging from the door. I flinched and then I froze when the bang got louder each time. I backed up to the wall and slid down to the floor. I clutched 'Momo' and said, "Were going to be okay, Momo."

The banging felt like it would never end as I curled myself into a ball and later on the floor sideways. My eyes watered and I whispered, "Onii-chan, please save me."

I quickly rose from where I was and I could feel a drip of sweat roll of my face. I clutched Momo tighter than I have ever before and I looked at my surroundings.

I saw that I was covered by a few blankets and I then saw Yui when I looked down. She was sleeping while sitting and her head was my the edge of the couch I was on.

She opened one eye and then the other and looked at me. She looked happy and then hugged me so tight I felt like I was going to die.

"Choko! I was so worried..." She said while her eyes watered. 'I noticed she cries a lot.'

I saw someone enter the room and after my eyes focused I saw it was Ruki. He looked at me and then went over to me and put a finger on my wrist. I was confused so, I instinctly pulled away and put my arm around Momo again.

I heard Yui say, "I-is it true?" I was very confused now, what was true and why is he checking my pulse. He looked at her and nodded.

Because of my curiosity, I put two fingers to my neck checking my pulse as Ruki let go of my wrist. My eyes widened and I froze from shock.

I didn't have a pulse...

"Why don't I have a pulse?" I said in a whisper to no one in particular. "Am I dead? Why do I feel so cold?" I said getting louder with each word.

After I finished my sentence, everyone came into the room including that boy I met at school and someone who seemed oddly familiar.

"Choko! Thank goodness your alright!" Said the boy who I met at school.

I nodded suspiciously and confused. 'Wait, did Reiji make me drink a potion of some sort and then someone raped me? Haha no, they wouldn't go that far... They would simply do it while I was conscious so they could see me cry and struggle.^^'

"Who are you?" I said pointing to the unknown man with blonde hair who almost looks like Kou. I heard someone snicker in the background and then I saw the the boy glare towards Kou. He looked back at me and then had a almost sad face on.

"Aww~, you forgot me? That's really mean... Lu-chan," he said. As soon as he said 'Lu-chan' my eyes widened. Only one person called me that and that person abandoned me she I was small.

"Onii-san," I said with my eyes watering. Probably the one time I'll cry in front of the brothers.

I couldn't hold it anymore and I walked up to him and stood right on front of him with my bangs covering my eyes.

"Umm, is there something you need Lu-chan?" Right when he finished his sentence, I kneed him in the spot where the sun don't shine.

He crouched on the ground and I could feel the gazes from everyone and after he recovered a bit from my so called, 'attack' I said, no, I yelled, "YOU LEFT ME! YOU LEFT ME WITH THAT WOMEN FOR WHAT SEEMED TO BE FOREVER!! HOW COULD YOU? I WAITED FOR SOMEONE SAVE ME FOR 3 YEARS! When you left do you know what I went through? I went through hell there and I would say it was worse than being trapped with 10 god damn vampires! The only person who could be there for me was Yui, she cared for me and stayed even when I couldn't handle it anymore!"

I fell to the floor now eye level with my brother and tears steaming down my face, "When were you there for me when I needed it?"

I knew everyone was staring at me, some shocked, some curious, and some amused. I layed on the floor sideways like I did that time when I was hiding. I cried for what seemed like forever until I felt a hand caressing my hair.

I looked up from my 'ball' like postion I was in and saw my brother with a smile on his face. I heard him say, "I know I wasn't there physically, but I was there with you through your whole life wishing the best for you. Even though all of those things you've experienced never happened to me, do you know how much it hurt me to see my little sister like that? If we could, I hope we would be able to go back to the way you were when we were kids."

I looked at him straight in the eye and said, "That girl died a long time ago." He had a look of sorrow and sadness mixed in with disappointment.

I went back to my laying down and I soon heard and 'thump' in front of me. I looked up and saw Momo right there and Kanato standing behind her.

"Teddy says he doesn't want to see you cry and he likes you a lot," Kanato said while I looked up at him. I grabbed Momo and said, "Thank you Teddy and Kanato."

I sat up with my legs crossed Momo in my lap. I looked at the floor like it was the most interesting thing I've ever seen trying to avoid the many stares of the vampires. I soon got up after what seemed to be an hour and I left the room and decided to wander and clear my thoughts. Luckily no one followed me.

After a couple minutes of wandering, I found a room that was slightly open. Of course being 'human', curiosity got the better of me and I went in. Lucky me, I found a piano right in the middle if the room. I hesitantly went over and sat down not the bench and put Momo on the top of the piano.

I thought of a song then smiled as I remembered one of the pieces I would play when I was smaller. I guess you could call it my signature song.

I continued singing not knowing that someone was watching me. I finally got to the part where I was always missing that one instrument... The violin.

As I neared to the violin solo, I heard someone pick up the violin that was beside the wall. I looked at him not stopping in my playing, I saw it was my brother.

I didn't stop, but I did when it was the violin's turn. I heard the rich beautiful sound of the violin as it played each and every note precisely and gracefully.

I smiled and thought, 'The song can be complete again after so long... It doesn't feel lonely anymore,' with my eyes closed.

The song ended leaving me in disappointment, but I soon heard someone say, "So pretty."

I looked up and this time I didn't just see my brother, I saw Shu, Yui, and Kanato.

Kanato said, "Her voice is beautiful isn't it Teddy." I remember I once heard Kanato sing this sing before, but I never asked about it.

"Your pretty good at playing the piano," I heard Shu say. I nodded as a 'thank you' and then I heard Yui say something.

"That song, you always use to sing it to me when we were smaller. I always thought it was as beautiful as is, but when you and your brother play together its like an angel's tune," when she finished, Akira and I exchanged looks until I looked away and pouted like a child.

"Hehe, well Yui, Lu-chan and I always use to play that song when we were smaller for our 'parents'," I could tell he seemed disgusted when he said the last part.

I saw Shu go over to a couch and lay down. 'Is he sleeping again? I wonder if anyone though he was dead before...' I looked back to Yui and Kanato and said, "I'm going to go to my room now, please excuse me."

Just before I went by I Kanato I quickly said, "Please don't tell anyone about my performance this evening."

After I said that I went back to my room hoping no one will bother me for the rest of the night. Apparently, I couldn't get that wish because I heard a knock 5 minutes after I got in my room.

'Can't people just give someone some time alone for awhile?' I thought as I went to open the door. My expression turned sour once I saw who it was... Akira.

"Hey, what's with that expression? And here I was going to tell you something important," he said with a pout face. 'He reminds me of someone, I don't know who.. But its someone.'

I gestured for him to come in and he did and sat on my bed.

I didn't have anywhere else to sit so I sat beside him cross-legged with Momo in my lap. "So, what do you want to tell me?"

He sighed and said, "Our family on our dad's side are all shinigamis including me and you. Also Yukio," he said it so fast I could barely make out what he was saying. I did though and when he was going to say something again hr said, "If it helps I'm going to be going to school with you and Yuki-chan (nickname) and we will be living here with you."

"Hold up... So your telling me that dad's side of the family including you and me, and Yukio, are all shinigamis," I said with my eyebrow raised. He nodded and I took a deep breath and said, "And that's the reason why mom abused me after you left," he nodded.

"Okay," I said looking at Momo and Akira looked confused.

"Wait, your cool about this?"

"Ye-... HELL NO! HOW WOULD YOU FEEL IF YOUR BROTHER COMES IN AND A SECOND LATER TELLS YOU YOUR A FLIPPING SHINIGAMI?! IM DEAD! D-E-A-D! WHY CANT I BE A FREAKING TIMELORD? THEY'RE COOL! SHINIGAMI'S ARE BASICALLY JUST THE WORD 'DEATH'.. okay, I'm good..." I yelled. I saw Akira was frozen. 'Maybe I was a bit loud... And sudden.'

He was slowly going towards the door when a thought struck me... "Hold up Blondie, you and Yukio are freaking going to my school?" I said.

He turned around slightly and said, "Y-yes."

"Leave in 2 seconds otherwise you'll get an early death wish," I said in a menacing voice.

"1."

"2," I looked over and saw he was gone and I sighed. I lied down on my bed to go to sleep. 'A lot of things happened today. First, my brother comes back. Second, I find out I'm dead. Third, my brother is going to school with me, yay!' (A/n note the sarcasm XD)

I hold Momo close and slowly drift off to sleep. As I went to sleep, I had an unnoticed smile on my face. After awhile, I fell into a deep comforting sleep.

So, you kinda just witnessed what Choko is like when she's not her quiet and emotionless self.

Also, tell me who you would like to see more of in the story and I can do that. Also, who you would like Yui to be with because this story isn't just about Choko... Sadly.
