"Why is the church on fire?" I said as i tugged on Yui's sleeve.

I saw the horror and fear in her eyes as she stared at the unbelievable sight.

Looking at the church, i saw a dark figure walking around and another on the floor. I immediately ran down the hill and heard my name called out several times, but i ignored it.

When i was at the front door i faintly heard footsteps over the cackling of the fire.

"Where are you?! Who did this?!" I yelled hoping to get an answer. I didnt hear a reply.

I looked behind me I saw Yui running towards me while the other two were no where to be found. 'They're probably already here...'

I hesitantly took a step inside and heard boards falling and breaking from the flames of the fire. It was destroying every single thing in its path and i might be next...

As i walked around cautiously looking for some sort of life, i heard a muffled voice.

I went towards it carefully and quietly until i noticed recognized the voice.

It was Seiji.

He had a pool of blood surrounding him and was sprawled across the floor. It was only a matter of time before he died from blood loss.

I ran towards him and put his head on my lap. "Seiji-san... What happened?! Who did this to the church?!"

"No... Get out of here Choko! I dont want him to do this to you too! Please... Take care of Yui... Tell her im sorry and i had no choice in that matter..." He said as tears formed in his eyes. "Choko... On my desk are some files... I want you to keep them safe and dont let anyone see or touch them... They are all about you and what you have to do from now on..." He pointed towards his desk and i saw a small stack of files completely untouched by the fire.

"Sei-... Father, please... Dont leave me and Yui... You're the one person who took care of us when we were abandoned..." I said starting to cry.

"Please... Get out of here and be safe. The others will be here soon. Get out while you can," he said holding my hand.
"Remember this Choko... You will always be my little Shinigami, Kisa......." His eyes closed with one last squeeze on my hand.

I was crying waterfalls by now. 'He knew... He knew my secret yet he still took care of me... Even if i was a disgusting creature, he showed kindness and hospitality towards me... Thank you father. For everything.' I did as i was told and gathered the papers.

I quickly ran out, getting burned by the intense heat of the fire, protecting the papers from and specks of flames.

I heard my name being yelled in one direction, while i heard a horse galloping in the other. The horse came into view and i saw it was a hooded person with a horrifying aura while the horse had many wounds and had deep red eyes.

Fear took over me and it took all the strength i had to run towards Yui and them. I hid the papers in my sleeve somehow and when i got into their site i fell to the ground.

I was coughing uncontrollably and my lungs felt like they were on fire. I saw Yui run towards me with worry and sadness shown on her face.

She put my head on her lap and gently grapped my cheeks with her hands. I felt her tears fall onto my face and roll down my cheeks. I grabbed her hand and said, "Its *cough* okay, Yui."

She shook her head and said, "Choko... What happened to father?"

I shook my head as a response which made her cries louder and she managed to stutter out, "Choko... You cant... Leave m-me. Your the only f-f-family i have left now... Please, dont go..."

I squeezed her hand still coughing while saying, "Heheh... Yui, you make it sound like I'm going to die. Dont think ill leave you in the hands of those arrogant, pervy vampires..." I had a chain of coughs after that making Yui more worried.

"Hey Yui, can you take me away from the smoke?" I said.

She nodded and put my arm around her shoulder slowly bringing me towards the forest. I could tell she was struggling and i did my best to help her out, but i was barely did anything.

When we were almost there, i saw Ayato and Azusa. They noticed us and quickly ran as Yui was about to fall. I saw her sweating from the heat and exercise as Ayato held her in his arms. "Oi! Chichinashi, what happened?!"

"How rude *cough* Ayato... Yelling at the girl you like..." I said teasingly as Ayato looked surprised.

"Ore-sama only likes humans for their blood nothing else," he said in that arrogant way.

'Su~~~re' i thought as i broke into another fit of coughs.

"Are... You okay?" Azusa asked with worry in his eyes.

I looked at him as he sat me up and put his arm on my back to hold me up. "Just peachy... I'd appreciate it if you would use your whole super speed to get us out of here though," i said as i saw that hooded figure in the church.

They both nodded and picked us up bridal style. As we were about to leave i saw something i wished i didnt.

Just as we left i saw the hooded person stab my father who seemed to be... Happy. He slightly tilted his head my way and slightly smiled. 'Run' he mouthed before closing his eyed.

The person looked my way and i was looking directly into blood red eyes sending shivers down my spine. It then smiled murderously just as we 'teleported' to the mansion.

It seemed i was shaking because Azusa said, "Choko... Your... Shaking... Are you... Okay?"

"Ah... Yeah, could you put me down?" I said as Azusa gently put me on the couch.

I was starting to cough again as Ayato put Yui on the couch opposite from me.

My coughs soon turned into hacking making me sit up on the couch.

Akira was coming down the stairs, but when he saw me struggling to breathe, he quickly ran over. "Ki-Choko! What happened?!"

"Oh you know... Just inhaled a bunch of smoke and damaged my lungs... The usual," i said sarcastically.

He had so much worry on his face that i didnt even want to joke around with him. "Im fine! Gosh, you make me guilty when you look like that," i mumbled.

I started coughing and Akira yelled, "REIJI!"

Reiji was here instantly with an annoyed face. "What do you want?"

"Choko inhaled a lot of smoke and shes having a hard time breathing!" He said.

I saw a flash, a flash, of concern, but it went away so fast you wouldnt even have noticed. "What happened to Yui?"

"She tried to carry me up a hill..." I said casually.

He raised an eyebrow at this and disappeared. When he came back he was holding liquid stuff which i dont trust.

He held it out to me, but i didnt take it. "Can i trust you? Hmm? Last time i checked you tried to rape me," i said as Akira's face went from shocked to sour. He was glaring daggers at Reiji while he just sighed.

"If you dont take it, youll die. Unless you want me to feed it to you," he said grabbing my chin.

"Tempting, but rather not... I mean, your going to die pretty soon by my brothers hands soo..." I said taking the bottle from his hands.

He stood straight like the butler he is as i drank the liquid. I coughed and made a gag sound.

"What the heck did you put in this?" I said making multiple gagging noises.

He smirked and said, "Just a little bit of this and a little bit of that."

'I knew i shouldnt have trusted this demon...' The taste and smell finally went away and i felt better after that.

"My lungs feel clean~~~," i said to myself while laying down.

I yawned and said, "dont wake me up till 1 am... Otherwise your going to get murdered in your sleep," i mumbled while drifting to sleep.

'I hope Yui is okay... I wonder when... I should tell Yui... About Seiji...' I was fully asleep by now.

So umm.. I reread Pandora Hearts and well... the feels train hit me and its not letting me off. For those of you who read the manga, you must understand my pain right now... Like seriously, i cry everytime.
