Mom had just finished tucking everyone in when the clock beeped gently. It was to remind her it was midnight and that she should be in bed. After muting the quiet alarm she went to the attached furnished barn and sat in the loft. She smoothed the comforter and turned on the TV. She then texted Vivian that she was sleeping in the loft if anyone needed her. Then she got comfortable and read. It was almost a perfect day.
