Five years later
Mustang POV: Age - 16
I groan lazily as my sister comes in my room and tries to wake me.
Fox-Come on Mustang, wake up, get up, let's go shopping. I got the money and we got mom's permission too.
-Five more minutes.
Fox-You already slept past breakfast and lunch just ended. Come on, let's go.
-Go by yourself. I want to stay here.
There's silence for a moment before she speaks again.
Fox-You promised.
There's another long silence before I push the blanket away to look at her and she is looking at me frowning. I lick my lips and speak.
-Alright fine. Just get off from me so I can get up.
She shrieks in joy and getting off from me she pulls me up herself.
Fox-I love you so very much.
She kisses my cheek slightly and I smile at that.
-I know, I love you too. Now then, let me get ready so we can go yeah?
Fox-Don't take too long.
I smile and giving her a kiss on the forehead I get up stretching out I turn to get ready.
Myles POV: Age - 33
I wake up on the morning and as usual I get ready with my husband Max as we always get ourselves ready together before we go together to wake our daughters and help them get ready.
Max-Now to wake the girls.
-And help them get ready.
Max-Hmm, you look good. So handsome.
-You look handsome as well.
He's shorter than me so I have to lean down for the kiss that I want. I grab his chin gently tilting his head upwards and I lean down giving him a deep kiss before we wake the girls. I go away first and as I turn to open the door to the girls room I feel how Max grabs my ass and squeezes it. When I look to him he plays innocent.
-Maximiliano.
Max-What? Is something wrong?
I growl at him and he laughs but with a sigh I finally go in the girls room and I go with Khloe while Max goes for Whitney.
-Khloe. Princess, baby girl, hey, come now, wake up little one.
I smile as she sits up sleepily.
She yawns and rub her eyes as she takes her time to wake up. She finally focuses on me and she smiles happy.
Khloe-Hi dad. Good morning.
She pulls the blanket aside and so she gets out of bed and she meets in a hug with her sister before they switch places and Whitney comes to me as Khloe goes with Max.
Kh-Hi daddy.
Max-Hi Khloe dear.
Whitney-Hi daddy.
-Hello Whitney.
We all share a quick kiss and hug before we speak aloud now all four together.
Max-Girls, come on here.
-We can go where you want.
Max-But we need you to get ready first.
-We will eat breakfast out today. Go get ready.
Wh & Kh-Yes.
They go to the bathroom they share and so we wait until they get ready. We organized so the bathroom had two showers, two toilets and two sinks so they can do everything at the same time. They still have a curtain separating so they can have their privacy but is still for both.
After they get dressed we brush their hair respectively before we go eat and they cheer and offer a lot of options as they go and on the restaurant.
Wh-We can go to the zoo.
Kh-Or even better to an interactive zoo so we can pet them.
Wh-No, we can go to the pool.
Kh-Matching swimsuits and we can learn to swim.
Wh-Or to the beach or to the aquarium.
Kh-And we can play with the dolphins.
Max-It seems we have a busy day ahead of us.
-They will choose one place.
We look at the girls.
Wh-We can ride a horse.
Kh-Or a pony.
I look at Max.
-Eventually. Hopefully.
Max-Girls, don't play with your food.
-And eat the veggies too, don't push them away.
They groan disgusted but they still eat properly, there's the slight push of play but they quickly keep eating everything. After we eat they finally choose to go to the aquarium.
Once in the aquarium the girls are excited as they look around. Being seven they're innocent and still our little girls.
Kh-Daddy look, there's a show to ride dolphins about to start.
Wh-Can we start there?
Kh-Please.
Wh-Pretty please.
Max-Sure.
-Let's go then.
With that we go in to the dolphin show and, is expensive, but I still buy the tickets for the show. They laugh and smile happy during all the show and at the end of the show they make a special announcement.
Staff-So, today is a special show and the special part is that the kids can come play with the dolphins before they go away. Whoever wants to come play with them is welcome to come.
With that about eight to ten kids go along with one of the trainers to stage, our daughters included amongst them and we, the parents, wait for them on the sidelines of the stage. We watch them play, feed and pet the dolphins for a while and taking turns between each kid and they are happy. I smile and holding hands with Max we smile at each other proudly and lovingly. The girls are happy and that's what matters the most to us.
Uziel POV: Age - 40
I am at home one night peacefully sleeping until I wake up as my wife wakes me.
AM-Uziel, darling, honey.
-Hmm, what happened?
AM-The babies Uziel.
That wakes me up all the way and I sit straight to get her up.
-Are you sure? Right now? Ah, come now then.
I help her get up and go by the hallways and on the car but before we leave I leave Apex sleeping on my brother's house along with a note for them on the door so they know where we are and so I leave towards the hospital my attention divided between making my wife is fine and the road to the hospital. Once in the hospital I park as close as I can and I carry her by emergencies and I'm relieved when I don't need to explain anything and the doctors take her away to maternity and thankfully they let me go with them. I go because I can and I want to be when they are born as well. The first one to be born is our son Rhett.
-Rhett, our second son and the eldest of the twins.
AM-Rhett.
I show him to his mother for a bit more and then pass them to the nurse so they clean him and it takes a few minutes but the contractions start again and it takes longer but finally, our daughter is born at last. She is born but she doesn't cries and that scares us.
AM-Why is she not crying? What happened with my daughter?
Doctor-She is fine, she's just, not crying but she's alive, she's breathing.
AM-I want to see her.
The doctor hands her to me and I show her to Ana Maria. We see that she's alright, fine and breathing.
-She's beautiful.
AM-Our special little girl.
We share a kiss and that simple act makes her react and she doesn't cries but she laughs and cheers in my arms. I hand her to the doctors and we let them take them and as Ana Maria goes to sleep exhausted from giving birth and I take my chance and asking for a pillow and a blanket I sleep on the floor. By the morning when I wake up I find that I have two blankets on me and that I'm on a couch and not on the floor. I groan as I sit up stretching my arms a bit before I hear them.
AM-Finally awake.
I turn to look at her and I smile as she seems to have eaten and now she's breastfeeding one of our babies.
-How have the twins been?
AM-Lovely. Rhett is loud and wild.
-How is Imani?
AM-The complete opposite.
We laugh and going towards her side I kiss her good morning before I look at our daughter Imani.
-So cute.
AM-She got your eyes. Oh and also, before I forget, your brother stopped by and left us both some things. Clothes, toothbrush, cellphone and all that. We were all asleep so the nurse gave them to me when I woke up.
-I call him to check how Apex is doing.
AM-Sure. They can come if they want.
-They want to come.
AM-My point exactly.
I am confused for a second before I get it and so I call them.
Itzel POV: Age - 42
I look proudly at how my sons play together. Franco is 11 while the triplets are 6 and they do get along. Ever since their father died five years ago Franco has been acting as the fatherly figure for the triplets. That puts him at odds with the eldest triplet Ayden constantly and they have a rocky relationship. The triplets are all wild. Ayden the eldest is wild in every sense, dangerous, reckless, can't keep quiet or still for too long. Owen, the middle triplet, is equally wild but he thinks things through, he ensures safety before he goes wild with brother. Wyatt, the youngest of the triplets, is as wild as his brothers but unlike them, if something goes wrong he stops to fix the problem and then he goes home and stops being wild for the day. I got no idea what they're playing at right now but they seem to be having fun as they smile and laugh. I sigh and seeing dad coming over with my youngest sister Iliana I go to greet them.
-Hi dad.
Kn-Hello Itzel.
We share a kiss before I turn to my sister.
-Iliana.
Iliana-Hi sister.
-Are you staying or what?
Il-We are going to have dinner here.
Kn-We made this as well to be included on the dinner.
He shows me what he brings and I see a very beautifully arranged lasagna. I smile and I look at dad.
-Knowing you, it tastes divine. I haven't finished cooking yet so we have to wait a bit more.
Kn-That's alright, we'll wait. Hmm, the kids are quite active.
-At least they get along. So it balances out. I really hope they stay like that forever.
Il-What are you cooking?
-Come now, I'll show you.
With that I let them inside and I show them the food, the ones that are ready because I'm making more and more and now more because dad and Iliana are joining us so, food for seven persons.
Kn-Wow, this is. Where did you learn this recipe? What's this?
-Mexican recipe. I learned to do it because it was my husband's favorite dish.
Il-They look delicious. Are they spicy?
-The original recipe is very spicy but this one I didn't made it spicy so you can add it later if you want and to your liking.
Kn-Can I try one?
-When they're served.
He gives me a look but still does as told and so we wait for dinner to be ready.
About thirty minutes later is ready, dad and Iliana helps me set the table and serve the food before I turn to call the boys.
-Boys, dinner is ready, come on in to eat.
The boys storm to sit but when they get to the door Franco holds them.
Fr-Wait just a second. We have to wash our hands first.
Ayden-I'm hungry now.
Owen-Do we have to?
Fr-Last one to wash the hands is rotten tomato.
That makes them storm and race to the sink and I can't help a laugh.
-Thanks.
Fr-Sure.
-Where is Wyatt?
Fr-He said he was coming. He was playing with us.
-Alright, you go wash your hands too.
Fr-Sure and I'll make sure they do as well.
As we turn to sit down Wyatt comes up at last and he smiles brightly.
Wyatt-Mommy.
-Is something wrong?
He hands out a flower to me and he speaks.
Wy-For you.
-Aww, thanks. My special little man.
I hold him in a hug and taking the flower I get it on water so it doesn't wither that quickly. With that we sit down to eat dinner at last.
