Bolt POV
One evening as I get dinner ready with the help of my youngest daughter Cho. She really enjoys cooking, she wants to be a chef when she grows up so she offers to help me often. After a while when is time to serve the food she hands me the empty dish, I serve and she gets them on the table.
Cho-So, we have two, four, six, eight and ten.
-Remember, there's one extra for Kyo's girlfriend.
Cho-Oh, right. Sorry, I forgot.
-That's alright. I didn't and here you go, put it on the table.
I give her Reiko's dish and so she sets it on the table. I sigh and cleaning my hands I press the main intercom that reaches all of the rooms in the house and I speak.
-Family. Dinner is served. Come eat before it gets cold.
Is not long before I hear the doors opening and shutting and all their footsteps coming from all over the house and is not long before the dining room is full of conversation and laughter. I do a headcount and I roll my eyes as we're missing three persons. I press the intercom to both Kyo and Ying room and I speak.
-Kyo, Ying, Reiko. Come eat dinner.
I see that they're in Ying's room because is him who speaks.
Kyo-We're on our way.
I sigh and I sit down on the tatami mat on the floor and I start eating. Not five minutes later Kyo, Ying and Reiko sit down with us and so we eat and we talk about our things. We all laugh and act silly until dinner is over and they go do their own things. I'm about to go too when Kyo pulls me and Kika aside.
Kyo-I, we need to speak with you both in private about a serious matter.
Kika and I share a look and so we turn to go to the study to speak privately and I'm not surprised when Reiko stays with us.

I lock the door and serving a bit of tea and hot chocolate I sit down on the couch with Kika across from them.
-So, what do you want to speak about?
Kyo-Ah, Reiko and I, we want to move in together.
K-She can have her own room here if she wants. I have no problem with that.
Kyo-Ah, no mother, we want to move together at our own place. Just the two of us.
-Where?
He rubs his neck nervously turning to her before he speaks softly.
Kyo-America.
K-That far? Why? No, you're not moving that far from me.
Kyo-Mother, I'm going to go at some point. I can still call you every day or every night if that makes you worry less. I can take care of myself and besides, you will have other seven kids to keep protecting and teaching and I won't leave. I call, write, text, visit and I would come back for your advice and important dates.
K-You already made up your mind about this, didn't you?
Kyo-I did.
K-My stubborn and hotheaded Kyo. I will support you. Now, what are your plans?
-When?
Kyo-That might be sooner than we all think. We plan to move to America at the beginning of the next school year, we live together, study together, get a part time job while we finish studying and then after we graduate we will work full time and from there we will slowly work our way up.
-This might be a bit too direct but considering how you're going to do this I think is appropiate. So, do you plan on having a life together? Marriage and kids and all that.

They both blush at my question getting apart from each other and being all nervous.
R-Hopefully he'll ask someday.
Kyo-It will happen, eventually yes.
R-Not now now but eventually.
Kyo-For now we will, build a base?
R-Finish studying to raise money.
Kyo-Enjoy a bit before formalizing it forever.
K-So you two plan on staying together forever.
Kyo-You did taught me that I should follow my dreams and what makes me happy with who makes me happy.
He kisses her hand before he turns to us.
Kyo-Hopefully I'll be as happy as you two are.
R-You are good people.
-Oh really? What gave you that impression?
R-Kyo. He's a good and educated gentleman. Influence of your education towards him surely.
K-Thanks, now then, can you do us a favor?
R-Sure, what can I do for you?
K-In America, do treat Kyo right. Make him happy. Alright?
R-As happy as he deserves to be and that's a lot.
-Anyhow, what were you studying to be again? Reiko.
R-I'm studying to be a lawyer. I want to generalize on criminal law. I want to be able to do them all but that would be my strong point, my specialty.
-Well, you have our blessing.
K-And we wish you the best of luck and we will help you with wathever you need.
We get up and noticing is late we go to sleep and Kyo takes her to her house, I have no doubt he's going to stay but I still go to sleep for the night.

Three years later
Kyo POV
I am at the university in America now and things are going good and well and not just for me but for Reiko as well, is not as we planned it exactly but we made it. We live together, we work together at the same restaurant, she is the waitress and I am the cashier. We don't exactly study together. The school schedule is too busy but still, at school we both study and we turn romantic when we're at work and even more romantic at home. I snap up as the teacher calls me out.
?-Kyo.
I look at my teacher and he asks.
?-Can you read the miranda rights?
I stand and I recite them all from memory.
-You have the right to remain silent.......
I recite them all and when I'm done I sit down.
?-Thank you Kyo.
He keeps going in the class and after a bit is finally done and so we all turn to leave. I go to the lockers to get my phone, my jacket and the rest of my things and so I go to my car where I find that Reiko is already waiting for me. Her classes start earlier and finish earlier than mine so she waits for me to get out and so we go to work. We got our schedules as close to the same as we could and we managed to do it. She enters class at seven in the morning and I go in at nine. I bring her here and I study by myself for two hours until my class starts and she has lunch at eleven, me at twelve. She finishes her classes at four and I finish at five. We work the same from six to ten, the night shift at a luxurious restaurant. Is just four hours but being a luxurious restaurant the pay is good and with both of us working it double the pay and better and we are together so is even better. I get in the car with Reiko and I greet her with a kiss.

-Hey beautiful.
R-Hey handsome.
-How was your day?
R-We got to solve a case. Well, is a past case already solved but he asked us how we would approach it and solve it ourselves. I gave the most efficient solution.
-Of course you did.
R-Well, how was your day?
-I got asked the miranda rights. If I knew them. We focused on why they made them and how to use them and when we should apply them. Can I confess something to you?
R-Do tell.
-Honestly I'm more excited to reach my work and start doing police work and that stuff than be in a classroom doing boring paperwork. But, like everything else in life............
R-Good things are worth the wait.
-Worth the wait and the wait is sweeter if I'm with you.
R-You really are a sweetie pie.
She pinches my cheek softly and smiling I turn to park at work at last. As we get inside the staff entrance we go to the locker room to change clothes into our uniform.
-That uniform makes you look so sexy.
R-You're just saying that.
-Oh really? Why is that?
R-Because I know you think I look better naked.
I freeze embarassed and clapping my cheek she goes out to the counter to work and after a moment I follow and go to work myself. The night is busy and crowded and full of guests but we manage to work quite efficiently and the manager and the owner come out to help and several of us do double work to go faster. I do three, cooking, serving and being the cashier. Reiko serves and is cashier too. As the newbies of all the workers here we are left to close up and clean everything for the next day. We are finished and we look at the restaurant.
-Wow, what a night.
R-Yet we managed to get through and leave it spotless as well.
-I have my talents.
R-You do and right now. Work hard play hard? Or are you too tired to play?
I look at her provoking me and I understand but I play along.
-I feel a bit tired but maybe if I have some incentive. I might be able to play for a bit.
R-Show me how hard you play then. I know you want me.
-A lot.
I reach the edge of her skirt and kissing her I undress her and we end up fucking at the kitchen floor before we are satisfied and we go home to fuck once more before we take a shower and we turn to sleep for the night.

Three years later
I find myself happy working at the police station. I mastered all of the areas, I can drive a bike, a car, a horse. I can be a sniper, a shooter and even use force with my bare hands, I can use violence if necessary and I can also speak with the criminal and use words to slowly get closer to the criminal and then knock him out or at least immobilize him. I can do everything but I rather focus on homicide detective. There is always something new here, some you expect and others you can't even imagine. They hired because I helped them solve some crimes and in one I managed to catch the bad guy before they did and that impressed them and I got the job I wanted right after I graduated and so did Reiko. Our jobs are linked so she stops by the police station as much as I stop by the court and so we see each other often enough. I snap out of my thoughts when someone speaks to me and I turn to see my boss.
Boss-Kyo, we got a body and you are on the case.
-Alright. Is the body here or do I have to go there?
Boss-You go there. Here's the information you need.
She hands me the folder and getting my things I get on my police car and so I go to the crime scene. Other police officers are with me as we go in the area. I look at multiple blankets on the house and getting towards the forensic examiner I ask.
-Multiple victims or victim in multiple pieces?
?-Right the first time. I'm thinking serial killer or a crime of passion.
-The victims are.
?-The teenage son, both parents, the grandmother and even their pet dog was killed.
-Any leads?
?-The teenage daughter is missing. Two options, either she's the fugitive killer or she was kidnapped.
-How were they killed?
He pulls me aside showing me the bodies.
?-The father was killed by a single bullet to the head. The mother was shot twice on the chest and the teenage son was hit in the head with a contingent object and then he was stabbed multiple times, 17 to be precise, before they cut the neck and he finally died completely.
-So, killing the father woke the mother, she moved making the killer miss the first shot and he shot a second time and she died. The son was either sleeping and he came to investigate or he arrived late home and he was knocked out and stabbed to death by a second killer. What about the dogs? And the grandmother?
?-The dog was apparently asphyxiated but the veterinary can confirm that one and the grandmother wasn't shot or stabbed. We think she was witness to the murder and the shock and fear made her have a heart attack and died but we still need to confirm.
-Bag them and I want a report for possible murder asap.
?-Yes boss.
With that I'll go back to the station with the evidence and I analyze the evidence and search for possible enemies and grudges.
