I am frozen as someone else walks in and we both stare at each other in silence. He has tanned skin, sky blue eyes, shiny and spiky black hair with a few red highlights, a squared chin, I blush as I realize he's shirtless and wet, the water drops running down his skinny but well formed abs and his strong and muscular arms. I can't stop staring and I only flinch away when I feel his hand on my arm. I come back to reality at the touch.
?-Sorry. I didn't mean, I was just, I'm sorry.
-I thought I was alone.
?-Me too. Hmm, you might want to cover yourself a bit more.
-Huh?
He points to the cost I borrowed and looking at it I see I'm showing all of my body to him and as I cover myself I feel even more embarassed than before.

?-No worries. Hey um, do you need to go home, a ride or something?
-No, I'm, I have to go.
With that I turn to leave and he follows close behind. I arrive to the water cage I been in lately and taking the coat off I jump in the water. I turn to go to the bottom when I hear him come in the water as well and I can't help but turn around and I see his shocked expression as he sees me. I stay in place but he comes around me looking at me curious until he has to go back up for breath. I go afterwards and he comes forward to me.
?-You're the mermaid.
-I am.
?-How did you, how can you walk with legs?
-Now you know. But don't tell anyone.
?-I won't but......
He sneaks closer and in a lower voice he speaks.
?-........can I come see you again?
-Hmm, give me your hand.
He shrugs but he still gives me his hand and I take it and place it over my heart as I place my hand over his heart. I smile as I sense he's a good person unlike the others that got me here, hes honest, pure and kind. I smile and pushing his hand away I speak.
-You can come see me again. But come when they're gone.
?-Definitely. Oh and my name is Darius, what's yours?
-I'll tell you tomorrow.
He makes a face and ruffling his hair I speak softly.
-Just giving you a reason to come back tomorrow.
Darius-I will definitely be back.
He kisses my hand and he goes out of the water and away and I go to sleep.

For the next few days he comes constantly at night, not every night but most of them and we manage to keep it a secret. Sometimes he comes to swim with me and he looks good on all the swimming suits he has. Other times he brings me clothes so we can go out on land and we have a lot of fun together until one day, as I turn to jump back in the water he pulls me back and turning me around he kisses me. My surprise fades into bliss enjoying the kiss and then to anger and irritation and pushing him off me I slap him.
-How dare you?
Da-I thought you wanted it.
-Yes I do but not like that.
Da-Then how?
-Slowly or you could just ask for it.
Da-Sorry but, sorry. Can I kiss you?
-If you want to.
Da-Will you hit me again?

He laughs and this time he kisses me softer, more gently, more sweet. We stay holding each other for a bit even after the kiss has ended neither able to let go but he has to go and eventually we let go and after hes gone and I'm in the water I just float there blissfully happy and remembering the kiss I giggle a bit happier than before and so I keep going on with my day. When the imbeciles come in I ignore them and just wave them vaguely giving just bored sounds letting them know that I'm aware of their presence and when night comes that Darius comes to visit me he brings clothes again.
Da-Pearl, I got you something nice to wear.
-Did you now? Does it has something to do with how you're dressed today?
At that he blushes quite hard and laughing I kiss his cheek lovingly.
-I want to use it then. I love you.
Da-Love you too.
I get out of the water and drying myself I get dressed and he just watches me like always. Since I'm always naked when I change from mermaid to woman I always keep my back to him and he only looks at my ass. The first time he didn't got underwear for me but all the other times he did remembered to bring me some. I sigh as I finish dressing and I turn to face him.
-Well, how do I look?
Da-I'm speechless by your beauty.
-Shall we go on our first date?
Da-Definitely.
With that we share a kiss, link our arms together and we leave to our date.

He takes me dancing and we dance together and have fun for the night and after our date he speaks.
Da-I have to get you back.
I laugh and squeezing his arm I snuggle closer to him.
-No. I won't go back there ever. I'm staying with you or go back to the ocean.
He seems to think about it for a moment before he smirks.
Da-I think I have an idea. Come with me. If I'm right, well, you'll see.
He gives me a soft kiss and holding hands we run, or rather he runs and I hold my dress up as I follow him holding hands to keep together and not lose each other. I smile as we go to the docks and to a small cabin there by the beach where he finally let's go and he knocks quite loudly until the door opens to a sleepy bearded man.
?-I knew it. You're the only person that knocks like that.
Da-Have you done the favor I asked yet?
?-I came to sleep because I'm already done with it. Let me get the key and I'll take you to it.
He goes back inside and I look at him.
-Darius.
Da-When I met you I asked him for a favor. My entire family has if not everything at least one thing associated with the ocean. We live on a boat in the ocean, in a house by the beach, by a river, we fish or just something but we stay close to water always.
-What do you do?
Da-I live in town with my parents or in a small house by the beach all the way out, depends. I surf mostly but I really like to swim and explore by the reef.
-Yes I know, you told me before.
Da-Yes but I didn't told you, four years ago they got me a boathouse. I don't use it much so it kind of got dirty and I had to clean it up. He's doing that now or rather he already did it.
-Do you know how to ride a boat?
?-Of course he does, he just enjoys swimming more.
Da-Guilty as charged.
?-Your boat is over here, follow me.
We follow him and he has a very big and very beautiful boat.
A/N: The boat is like the one the rich guy has in movie Overboard.
I look at Darius and he smiles with a shrug.
Da-Beautiful, right?
-Very.
Da-Hey man, thanks for fixing it.
?-No problem, the tank is full, the food storage is full too, the clothes are here, hers too, everything is ready to go sailing for a while. Where are you going?
Da-Where are we going?
He asks me and suddenly I can't speak so I say the first place that comes to mind.
-Greek islands.
Da-The Greek islands.
?-Lady has good taste. Well, have fun there. You have enough to get there and refill there to keep going.
He waves goodbye and Darius helps me to the boat. It doesn't take long but he shows me the boat and everything before we get used to it.
Da-So, do you like my idea?
-I do and a lot.
Da-Glad to hear that. Well, let's sleep here for tonight and we'll go out tomorrow at sunrise.
-After breakfast.
Da-Tomorrow we wake up, go for breakfast in town and then we sail.
I smile and giving him a big kiss I hug him and he hugs me back for a moment before we go to our separate rooms to sleep. I manage to sleep but waking up in the middle of the night I sneak to his room and I go sleep with him.

Two years later
Sora POV
I wake up again as my newborn baby Bolt cries. Both me and Solstice wake up but I sit up.
-I go get him.
Sol-Thank you.
I laugh and getting out of bed I turn to leave when she calls me out.
Sol-Sora.
-What?
Sol-Bring him here.
-I will.
I go to the other room and taking Bolt in my arms he cries as I get him to the room with Solstice.
-Alright, here you go, go with mommy.
Sol-Come here, I bet you're hungry.
-He must be, his diaper is clean.
She smiles and adjusting their position we smile in relief as he was indeed hungry as he literally takes the bottle from Soltice's hand. I watch in silence until two voices ring out from the door.
Yo-Dad? Mom?
Ly-Is Bolt better now?
I get up and going towards them I hold them both.
-He was hungry, that's all. You two on the other hand, let's get you to sleep.
They nod and getting them each in one hand I go to their room. They are sharing a room since Bolt came to live with us. The house has only three rooms, mine with their mother, two for each girl but now is the girls room and the baby's room and that's why we're going to move to a bigger house. I tuck them each on their own beds and they smile up.
Ly-Dad?
-Yes?
Ly-Why is Bolt so annoying?
-He is not annoying.
Ly-Yes he is but is weird.
-Weird how?
Ly-He annoys me a lot but I still love him.

I kiss both of them in the forehead and going away I turn off the lights and go back to my room where Solstice is asleep with Bolt cradled on her arms and he too is asleep. I smile and feeling restless I go to the study and I look on my computer for nice places to move to with my family.

I smile as I answer my phone for my girlfriend and I stand from the table to talk a bit more freely without them hearing.
