I sigh as we get out of yet another ring store without any success.
Sol-Don't worry, we'll find it before the day ends.
-I know but still, I feel.............
Sol-Overwhelmed, I get you. Do you want to go grab a bite before we keep looking?
-Let's go then.
With that we go eat lunch at a nearby coffee shop, with sweet traits and we order a cheesecake with a milkshake, sharing size. We feed each other between laughs and kisses. After a bit I speak up.
-Hmm, I might or might have not promised my dad and sisters I would bring you to dinner today.
She gives me a pointed look and I sigh.
-I wanted to have a ring before dinner to show them how serious we are.
Sol-Did they asked and or pointed out your exlovers?
-Yes they did. Don't let them intimidate you. Oh and my nephew..............
Sol-Tyler.
-I have the feeling that he's going to like you.
Sol-How old was he? Two or three?
-Three.
Sol-Hmm. So, you mentioned marriage and now I'll ask you, would you like to have your own kids?
I turn from the ice cream to her and she turns her gaze away from me as a blush covers her face.

It takes me a moment to act but when I do I pull her face to me and I kiss her softly. Pulling apart just a bit I look at her straightforwardly.
-It would honor me if you choose to procreate and bear our child. I love you and I want everything with you.
Sol-Then we should hurry and find a ring before dinner.
I can't help laughing a bit at that and I feel her kiss my cheek as she takes my hand, the third kiss is on the lips half kissing half laughing and just being cheesy together until we separate and go get to look at more rings.

Once in the store, the fifth one after we have lunch we finally find the perfect rings for us.

We engrave them with our names, her ring has my name and my ring has her name. It takes a while getting the ones we want in our size but we finally get them.
-Perfect.
Sol-Definitely.
We look at each other kindly.
Sol-One step closer to be together forever.
-Together.
I kiss the ring on her hand and then with both our hands joined I kiss her forehead.
-Still want to go have dinner with my family?
Sol-Let's go then. Uh, wait, can I drive there?
I give her an unsure looks but she looks at me so hopefully that I sigh and taking her hand I give her the keys to the car and she smiles even more.
-You can.
Sol-Oh I love you so much.
She pulls me down in a quick kiss and then taking my hand she runs dragging me towards the car and so we get in to go home.
-Let me send them a text we're coming for dinner.
She waits patiently adjusting the seat so she can reach the brakes and getting ready to drive I instruct her.
-Alright, turn it on.
Sol-On.
-Now place both hands on the wheel and press the brakes very slowly.
Sol-Alright.
She goes on and I almost cry when she goes in reverse and hits my sporty speed car against the wall.
Sol-Oh.
-The gear shift is on the R, put it on the D and drive forward slowly.
Sol-To the left or the right?
-Right. Slowly, slowly, that's it.
I smile and relax as she drives slowly but safely and confident. She's a fast learner.
Sol-Oh, I'm driving my boyfriend's car.
-Yes you are.
Sol-So cool, it feels good. I feel good.
-Where did you learn how to drive?
Sol-I have been practicing with rented cars when we're not together. I kind of wanted to surprise you.
-It kind of worked. You surprised me.
Sol-I still forget details and confuse a few things but overall I........I know enough basics to handle it, yeah, I'm still getting the hang of it.
-So you can handle it?
Sol-Yeah. In fact, let's try something that I wanted to do for a long time.

Sol-This.
She shifts the controls and she speeds quite fast very suddenly. I like it but I'm also terrified about that and her wide smile and joyful laugh makes me less terrified and more happy as she's clearly enjoying the ride. Not wanting to tempt fate I stay pressed against my seat holding to where I can in case a sudden stop comes I don't fly off.

When we get home at last I'm a bit overwhelmed by the crazy drive and still a bit on edge I can't help a laugh and she can't either.
-Damn that was quite the experience.
Sol-Yes it was. How was my driving?
I sit straighter and fixing my clothes and hair I smile at her.
-Deadly fun.
Sol-Deadly fun?

-You destroyed the back of my car.
Sol-Does that means you won't let me drive it again?
-I really don't care because I can fix it but I try to avoid damage as much as I can. No biggie.
Sol-Well, were here. Do you think they will like me?
-Of course I do and even if they don't is what I think of you what matters and what I think is that you're perfect. You make me happy, I don't care what the world thinks.
Sol-I don't either but I rather make a good impression or the best I can, if they like me good but if they don't, is their problem.
I laugh and leaning over we kiss for a while before we go in the house.
Once inside after greeting each other in a lot of hugs, laughs, kisses and everything else we sit down to eat but as expected the questions start.
Bi-So, this is the one that wants to take my brother from me.

I shut it and she examines me and my girlfriend with disdain but I know better. The tension is high.

They stare at each other and I have to contain myself from laughing.

I rub my neck a bit nervous looking at my food instead of them and I squeeze her hand a bit harder as they keep silent.

They look at me and then at each other and smiling they speak at the same time.

Sol-Probably but he was already good when we met.
Au-So, how did you met each other?
-I was hanging around in the forest and we kind of bumped into each other.
Sol-He, vaguely explained as always. I found him in the forest, he was a snake at the moment. I didn't knew he was a person that shifts to snake at the moment so it was, surprising when he shifted back to himself. In the good way, definitely the good way. I knew and felt the snake was special, I just didn't knew how special he was.
Bi-Was he shedding?
-Yes, she helped me shed faster.
Bi-Did you saw him shift back from snake to person?
Sol-I did and I was more surprised when he shifted completely than during the shifting.

-Unfortunately, not very far ahead. I hope to be very wrong but I think is going to get harder.
Au-Planning a wedding is never easy but the reward is oh so worth it.

We laugh together and as we fall into less stressing conversation I remember something.
-Oh, Bianca, show her to my room after dinner, I just remembered something I got to do.

Getting up I kiss my sisters and fiancee all sweetly before I turn to leave when dad holds me back.

-To fix my car.
Sol-I kind of drove reverse and smashed the poor beautiful car.
We share a look and letting go of me I dash out to fix my car. With the help of my aura and being prepared for anything I finish in an hour or so before I smile and checking that no one is looking I lean on the car as if I were hugging it and I touch it as if were a pet and I speak softly.
-What an awesome car you are, yes you are, you look good now. You are better now. Oh yes you are yes you are, who's an awesome car? Who is? Yes you are, yes you are.
I lean in for a bit enjoying my car until dad's voice speaks aloud to me.
Au-Should I be concerned about you?
I freeze on the spot and instantly turning to look at dad I struggle for words. He waits patiently with a smug smirk on his face.

He finally laughs as he leans at my side.
Au-She and your sister got along pretty well. They just went to sleep.

He doesn't speaks and so I keep going.

He gets off and he places his hands on my face wiping the tears away.

I can't help the smile that appears on my face with a soft short laugh.

Au-Solstice is exotic in the good way. I think she's the perfect girl for you. She must be quite good in bed if you asked her to marry you.

He nods and going upstairs I go to my room where I find Solstice already asleep. I smile and getting a shower and in fresh clean underwear I cuddle at her side and I fall asleep after she instinctively reaches out to cuddle on me.
