I look around the house at the mess Astrid makes. I let it happen because is a toy mess and not a juice spill so, is alright. She gets absorbed by the cartoons on the TV each time she passes in front of it but otherwise she just plays randomly. I read my texts, wich are weird because Asher has texted back an occasional greeting and vague answers as have done too.
-Astrid.
She looks at me before she walks stumbling towards me. When she gets close I grab her on top of me and she grabs at the drawings in my shirt. I only stop playing with her when mom arrives.
A bit after I got my Astrid I called her to help me. Since I couldn't reach my brother I asked mom.
JJ-Astrid, baby girl.
She makes a fuss with me so I let her go to her grandma and my mom grabs her easily showing her the new toy she brings.
-Hi mom.
JJ-Hi. Have you got with your brother?
-Not.
JJ-You know where he lives?
-Yes but is clear he's putting distance and since I'm busy with Astrid.
JJ-Take me there.
-You want to visit his apartment.
She gives me a look and I sigh. I can't do anything about it now.
-Let me get the things ready.
I hear how she speaks with Astrid as I get the things ready and then all the way down to my brother's place.
-Well, his place here.
JJ-Knock then.
I do and is about like five minutes of mumbling voices before the door opens.
At first he's shocked, surprised but then he's happy to see us.
AC-Mom, DJ. Come on in. Is a little cramped and tight but you're welcome to stay as long as you like.
As we come in I'm surprised at how similar our houses look. Not the decoration but the kid stuff and toys. I get the feeling we're in the same situation.
JJ-Asher Channe, tell me everything.
AC-Sit here.
He gets us some chairs on the balcony and being just the three of us mom asks us both to talk and we both do.

Asher Channe POV
I am relieved when I hear my mother's answer with a smile.
JJ-Four granddaughters and they're all mine.
She goes inside to play with all of them while I stay with my brother on the balcony.
DJ-So, you were planning this for a long while now.
-Had I known about your side I would have helped you out.
DJ-I was doubtful at first but I can't deny I loved her since I saw her.
-My girls are........I never thought that I would be the small percentage of having a multiple pregnancy. I expected two at most but three, that's still good and I'm glad they're different.
DJ-Even mine is different.
-She has mom's hair.
DJ-And her mother's eyes.
-Have her powers awaken yet?
DJ-No, she's just physically enhanced and resistant but no aura yet.
-Harita has her aura already. Her sisters love it but she doesn't know how to control it. Is not often that it appears since she's quiet. Only a surge of emotions awake the aura for about five minutes or so. After that she eats and sleeps.
DJ-She seems fine.
JJ-Boys, I have to leave. There is..................
She just turns around and leaves but I'm faster so I grab her hand and hold her there.
-What happened?
JJ-Not sure but is my kind of problem where I'm the expert.
She sighs and golds my other hand herself.
JJ-They didn't told me, they just said for me to come over. That they needed me specifically.
-You wouldn't help them.
JJ-I'm satisfying my curiosity. I still don't care about them in general.
-Go.
DJ-We'll stay together until you come back.
JJ-Or I call you to my home.
She leaves after that and I go play with the girls. DJ follows soon.

Jasmine James POV
I go back to Olympus angry at them. I was so happy with my kids and granddaughters but then they called and I have to go. I arrive and go up the elevator to Olympus. As usual when something happens everybody looks in a hurry and angry. So do I. I'm able to keep on my rationality until I enter the throne room where Zeus is lashing out at a caged dragon. I act and running to him I kick him away from the cage.
-How dare you do this to her? She is just a baby.
I break down the cage and the dragon jumps out. I kneel to pet her while she cuddles on me.
Hades-JJ, what's happening?
-Nothing serious. This might happen three more times or none at all.
Karai-She wants you to follow her.
Calix-She sees you as her mother.
CJ-Why?
-You should know why.
CJ-I meant that Fang is dead and your sons dragons died the same day they were born. Why is this dragon here and you know there are more coming?
Mentioning Fang's death hurts me but his words are neither accusing nor angry.
Calix-She knows by instinct and her gut feeling.
Dad only looks at us before anything else and I ask.
-I might need you three to help me out.
CJ-With what?
-Right now I need Karai, Calix and dad.
Karai-I love to go with you.
CJ-What do you hope to find?
-One of two things. We leave as soon as my sons get here. Dad, call them.
He does and so he hands me the phone so I can speak.
AC-Mom.
-I need you to come. All six of you.
AC-The six of us? You want us to bring the girls.
-Yes and make sure you're up for a long while.
AC-Alright. We'll be there tonight.
I hang the phone and give it to dad before we leave. I need two more people to help with the babies.

The next morning we're all ready to follow the dragon. She's a dragon so we used a charm to make her look like a dog. Only we see the reality. We follow her for a very long while and out of the city towards the coasts. At the edge of the beach she gets in to the water, swims a bit farther before she looks back.
-I'll go.
CJ-Wait. What if is a trap?
-Dragons don't set traps. But they do show us their safest place. I'm going.
With that I take off half of my clothes before jumping in and following the dragon underwater. I can barely see her unless she moves. Silver scales reflect the light to hide her but she moves so I see her. After a while we reach a coral entrance big enough for her but not for me. When I don't go in she comes out. I follow the structure to the top so I can locate the top and get some air as well.
I take a handful of air and I see how the dragon climbs on top of the rocks. I'm happy but then she makes a high pitched growl, baby growls. When I reach her I see how she runs back to the beach the more dangerous way but that's alright. She's still a baby dragon enjoying her baby master. She already did her part showing me the place so I just have to break through. I break the stones until I make a hole big enough so I fit and I throw myself in there. I land in the water and when I get to see the place I'm glad to see that I was right. I find myself facing three dragon eggs and a broken one. The broken one is silver while the other three are light green, purple and light blue. I smile at the sight. I never seen my dragon's egg but I saw my sons and now my granddaughters. I thought dragons were extinct but apparently not. I look at the eggs and I doubt how to do this. I never actually seen a dragon egg hatching. I touch all three of them and test them. They're scorching hot but I have never been hurt by hot or fire so I touch them.
-So beautiful. If only I seen my dragon being born.
I watch a while more until I see the dragon's shape through the eggshell. Is about the same size as the silver one. I only stop when it gets dark and they call me.
DJ-Mom, we have to go. There's a storm coming. Astrid's making a fuss too.
-We can't leave yet.
DJ-The storm's getting stronger.
-The egg is about to hatch. Is all connected.
We look at the green egg glowing and soon is a very bright and blinding green light. Is smoking, glowing and cracking.
Before I can do anything I get thrown into the air and on the water again. I get a breath and the first thing I see is DJ swimming to the chore undoubtedly to check on Astrid. I follow him and getting back on the beach I get to my dad.
-How do I look?
CJ-Beautiful even when dirty and wet.
-Dad.
Calix-Someone's coming.
As he says we hear the dragons growls. We turn to see how the silver dragon runs and bump heads with a green one. They both fall back dizzy but they keep playing with each other not minding the following two explosions. My boys leave the girls on the floor. Astrid and Harita with their own dragons. Keilani stays on place playing with the sand while Behati crawls around. Eventually she laughs with joy as she crawls towards her own dragon. They are the cutest duo. Soon, Astrid and Blanca Estela play all together while Bella Faith and Brisa Zale cuddle together besides their father almost asleep.
They have dragons, this is not over.

Five years later
Asher Channe POV
I look for a moment as my girls come in the door to my job. Blanca Estela is the loudest, fastest and the most outgoing of the three.
BE-Dad, we made something cool at school and the teacher let us keep it.
-What did you make?
BE-Something new, I haven't named it yet. Where's Beta?
-They're all with your grandma. They can't stay here. Brisa Zale, how was your day?
BZ-It was good. I wrote a poem by myself.
-Can I see it later?
She nods hiding behind her sister.
-Bella Faith.
BF-I made a drawing but is twisted.
-Twisted?
BF-It didn't end up like I wanted so is bad.
-Is rare to have it right the first time and that's why we're so happy when we get things right. When you get it right this will become a good memory for you.
She pouts slightly buts stays quiet about it. I know better but maybe that wasn't the right metaphor to use. I have no idea if I'm a good father but I'll keep trying.
-Girls, go sit there while I finish work.
BE-Can I use the toys?
-Sure but stay clean.
I look how they play together for a while before is only Blanca Estela playing act for her sisters making them laugh. I am so happy with my girls in my life.
