Navinna POV: Age - 17
I wake up slowly. I'm still sleepy and I can't open my eyes, again is too bright. I smile when I feel that someone is holding my hand and I call out on instinct.
-Navin.
Navin-Baby sister, hey, you're awake.
-Navin. Hmm, too bright.
Navin-Right.
I feel how the light is off and rubbing my eyes I look at my brother.
-Hey Navinno.
He scoffs and I can't help myself and laugh.
Navin-Well, how do you feel?

I focus myself and being normal I sigh.

He holds my hand toying with my fingers as he thinks about it but is not him who speaks. Is dad and what he asks is equally surprising.

I cover myself with the sheets and I wait until I hear the door closing to look. Seeing how they're both gone I relax and I cry. As much as I want and need. They didn't told me what happened but I understood the message and it hurts. Losing my baby, I wasn't sure of being pregnant but now that I lost my baby I'm sure that it hurts.
One year later
Arezo Mahin POV: Age - 17
I wake up slowly, in the hospital and as I do I get scared when I realize I'm bandaged in my eyes.
-Dad.
Heriberto-Arezo, you're awake.
Neil-Calm down. You're alright.
Hearing both my boyfriend and dad with me calms me down.
-You're both here. Did everything turned out alright?

I feel him kiss my forehead before going away. I'm left only with Heriberto so I'm calm.

Doctor-Good evening. How did you woke up?

Doctor-Then you'll be happy to know that I'm going to take the bandages off now but slowly and gently.

Doctor-Yes. Alrighty then, stay still and let's start taking these off.
I sit straight and as I stay still he takes off my bandages.

Heriberto POV: Age - 20
I watch with Neil at how the doctor takes the bandages off from her eyes.
-Gods.
Neil-Easy now. She is and will be alright.
I look at him before I look back at her and eventually the bandages are all gone.
Doctor-No, don't rub them. Not like that but I'll do it.
Arezo-Fine.
He wipes her eyes gently and I feel a sting of jealousy. Still, I don't do anything about it.
Doctor-Alrighty then, now, very slowly open your eyes.

Doctor-Good, now tell me. Do you see fine or blurry?
Arezo-Blurry, colorful silhouettes.
Doctor-Thought so. Let's try this then.
He gets a pair of glasses from his pocket and helps them to her eyes.
Doctor-Move them like this until you can see well.
Arezo-Hmm. There we go.
Doctor-Now then............
The doctor and her have a friendly argument as they make the procedure routine tests.
Doctor-And we're done.
Arezo-Finally. Now can I see my daughters?
Doctor-Of course you can. You're in good hands while you.................

Doctor-Just a short bit and for the last time.
He leaves and as he does she sighs.

Neil-Are you alright?
Arezo-Sure. Let me see you.

We share a look before we go at each side of her. She looks at us with a smile, silent before she laughs.
Arezo-You're definitely more handsome than I thought. Both of you.
Neil-Your daughters look even better.

That makes the three of us laugh happy together before she stands up suddenly.
Arezo-And Yayra? I want to see her as well.
Neil-She's at home with your aunts and grandfather.
She pouts but brightens up when the doctor and two nurses come in with our daughters. She looks at them before she looks at us.
Neil-Go on.
She holds one of the babies and she smiles softly.
Arezo-Lexi. My baby girl. You're so very beautiful.
Her laugh is soft but is beautiful and comforting as well.
Neil-Arezo.
Arezo-Hmm. Yeah?
Neil-You like seeing her?
Arezo-Quite a lot. They're my daughters dad.
Neil-Two little blessings for you.
I watch how he holds her close to him before he looks at me. He's smiling at me. Now we can all be happy at last.

Liam POV: Age - 58
I wake up early, as always, and I slip out of my wife's grip gently. I let her stay sleeping before I go downstairs to make breakfast for everyone. Everyone that lives with us of course so, the both of us and my youngest twin kids Navinna and Navin. They just turned 18 and Navin is starting to look for places to move and live on his own. I can't believe how much can change in just one year. I'm not sure if the next year will be good or bad but I do know that the summer vacations will be good. I am snapped out of my thoughts as I hear how my kids come on in speaking between them. I spare a glance and see that they're not talking between themselves but rather each on their phones. I serve them the first dish and they start eating. I sigh and taking mine and my wife's breakfast I go upstairs to eat with her.
Navin POV: Age - 18
I get out of work that evening and after stopping by the store I arrive to my girlfriend's apartment. Is ours but still, I knock before going in and as always she comes towards me smiling happy.
Tessa-Hey.
-Hmm, hi.
Tessa-How was school?
-Good.
Tessa-And work?
-Good too. Will it be good here as well?
Tessa-I believe and hope so. She's sleeping.
-Darling.
Tessa-Will we have more kids?
-Eventually. After marriage and we get slightly better at everything.

She gets interrupted by our baby daughter crying.
-I get her.
I go towards our daughter's room with her following close behind. I get to her and she cries a bit more calm in my arms.

-Let's go right now. Let's marry by the civil now and later on we can make the big wedding.

With one short kiss we leave and so we get married with our daughter as the wedding gift. Is quicker than I thought, just an hour before we go back to her apartment and enjoy dinner together.
Tessa-I can't believe this took so little time. I can't believe we're married already.
-Believe it because is true but still, I'm going to stay sleeping here tonight. I got spare clothes in the car and all that I need for one night. Tomorrow I'll bring the rest of my stuff here.
Tessa-It will be so good to sleep with you from now on.
-Everything will be good from now on.
Tessa-Let's go to sleep now then.
-I'll take a shower and shave first. You can go on ahead.
Tessa-I'll get her to sleep and wait for you. Your things are where you left them. I haven't moved them at all since last time you were here.

I kiss her shortly and our daughter before I start to get ready for bed. In all of that I let my sister Navinna know and then I go to sleep at last with my wife and, not surprising, our baby daughter sleeps between us.

A few days later
Liam POV: Age - 58
I watch how all of my kids, except Aviv and Aviva, gather up at the house for the weekend we always have now that we all live apart. My daughters and wife are playing with Alexei and Yunkai. We guys are on the other side talking between ourselves but I'm looking at my daughters as well as Blaz is looking at his sons from time to time. I smile and stretching I look at my youngest son as he fidgets over his phone. I have never seen him so tense as he is now, even though he's trying to hide it. I move to sit by his side and I speak to him.

He only acknowledges me with a simple gesture.
-Are you alright?
Navin-Is nothing you should be concerned about.
-How's school? You look tired.
Navin-Perfect. School is, it has gotten way more interesting than before.

Navin-Sometimes I feel like is too much and I feel exhausted but I like it. I really do.

He does and he pulls the sheriff up to the deck and away from us. We watch their interaction and I'm worried at how my son looks sad, worried mostly. There is a hint of anger but is momentarily there for a second. In a moment I join them and Navinna too but they don't speak about it.
-Navin, hey, calm down.
Navin-No! This is.............I have to go. I can't...........I'm sorry about it. I need to go and be alone.
He backs away as he speaks until he goes away and I dispatch the sheriff to speak with the family.
