Mako POV: Age - 26
I am getting out of work one day and as I get out I go talking with my assistant for things that I need.
-I want all of those ready by tomorrow.
?-Sure. That makes your day full and ready for tomorrow.
-Thanks.
?-This you have to take home with you and these have to be signed.
-Right. I'll get to them. Anything else I might be forgetting?
?-Behind you. Bye.
I turn to look and I smile when I see Maya standing there as beautiful as always. Making a turn I go towards her.
-Hi my love.
M-Hi.............
I don't let her finish as I kiss her instead. We share smiles before we walk side by side with her holding to my arm as we go. We walk to my car and I get the door for her and so we go. Passing numerous restaurants I pick one and so I stop.
-Going to buy something. Wait here for me.
M-I want to drive from here to home.
-Sure. I'll be right back.
Kissing her I go towards the restaurant and so I buy our food. I come out and as expected she's going to drive now and I watch her happy as she drives us to her house.
Once at her place we speak as we eat.
M-You had a good day at work?
-I did. How about you?
M-It was good. Not too slow, not too fast, uneventful but it wasn't boring either and I didn't got too tired either.
-Normal.
M-I like it.
-Don't you want to work with me? Start your lawyer career with me.
M-I'm fine as I am. I did started alone and good but I already told you what happened.
-The company went bankrupt and you got unemployed.
M-I went as a waitress while things work out and I like it. I like it more.
-You're thinking of switching careers?
M-Well, the thought did crossed my mind but I'm not sure.
-What would you like if you make a change?
M-Probably own a restaurant or work overall at a restaurant. Waitress, cook, cleaning, cashier. I can do any of those.
-Except cook. I want your cooking just for myself and our kids when we have them.
M-Kids?
Is not until she says it that I realize what I've just said.
-So, I still got some paperwork to read and sign, when you're done I'll wash the dishes.
M-Ah no, you said kids. Come back here and tell me everything and I do mean everything you want with me.
I sit back down in front of her and I twist in place uneasy by this feeling I have, is true and real but expressing it is hard, at least for me.
-I......it was just a random thought. I........I want it but it doesn't has to be right away.
She laughs and she kisses me gently before she covers my face in kisses. I chuckle as I'm not sure what's happening but I still kiss her back. This time with all the confidence and not a hint or fear, doubt or embarrassment I hold her with me and so I ask.
-Maya, look at me.
She does smiling holding me back and we smile.
M-I love you.
-I love you too.
I take a deep breath before I ask.
-Would you marry me?
She smiles before she pulls me close and so she answers.
M-Yes. Of course I do. I do want to marry you.
A/N: They sleep together often but they haven't had sex yet.

The next morning as always I wake up after her with her kisses.
-Hmm. Morning.
M-Morning dear fiancee.
I chuckle at that before I turn to look at her directly.
-Morning, fiancee.
M-You're so handsome.
-And you're beautiful. So very, very beautiful.
I hold a strand of hair gently before I let it fall again.
-I wish to stay here with you.
M-Me too but we have to work and I also want to work. Is a good day to go to work. Come on, yes, please.
I laugh as she lies down on top of me making puppy eyes at me.
-We will go but we can go late. We are buying the rings first.
M-Our rings. Of course, how could I forget the rings.
She bounces excited and I sit up holding her to calm down and still.
-Easy. We got time and besides, I already have an idea on what to do with the rings.
M-Oh really. I can barely wait.
She kisses me and so we get up and get ready to go at last.
After a while we have the rings and so we go have lunch together. Of course, we go to a private place to eat in peace and comfortable.
M-I like being with you. More than I thought possible.
-I feel the same. I love you like I had no idea I could. I don't want to lose you.
M-You foolish little boy. You won't lose me.
-I was just making a point.
M-Well, but right now, we should plan it out better. How many kids will we have?
-Hopefully and maximum, five.
M-One for each day.
-Five, not seven.
M-Mako.
-Sorry but seriously, is only if you agree to it.
M-Well, I think five is the perfect number. Three is too little and seven is too much.
-A lot of girls or a lot of boys.
M-Both.
-We will have both. Of course we will but we will need a bigger house.
M-Definitely. With a big garden too so they can play.
-Hey. Do you want to come with me to a surprise on the weekend?
M-Of course I want to go. Anything with you.
With a kiss we finish eating and leaving her at her work I go to mine at last.
Once at my work as I go in my assistant tells me about everything.
?-You have visit.
-Who?
?-Your brother. He's inside.
-Thanks. This is what you gave me yesterday. They're signed and please don't bother us.
She nods and so I go in with my brother. He stands quickly.
Aibek-Finally. Where were you?
-Taking a lazy day. Some private time for myself.
Aibek-I really need a bit of help with the boys.
-And Adelina?
Aibek-Oh please, she's my innocent little angel. She's fine and good.
-What's wrong with the boys?
Aibek-Merik and Malik are rebellious teenagers. Yahir is too quiet, too reserved.
-And how can I help?
Aibek-If you can take them on a vacation with you, take care of them for a while, to live with you for a while, I don't know. Maybe make them see things differently, on a different perspective.
-I can help but give me two, maybe three days to organize.
Aibek-You already have a plan for them?
-Not quite but I'm going to need help with a few things and maybe we can reach a mutual help.
Aibek-Don't spoil them.
-They have to earn the spoiling and I have my own agenda to accept them at my house.
Aibek-Oh well, when should I bring them over to your place?
-Tomorrow at dinner. I call if it changes for lunch.
Aibek-Thanks brother.
-Anytime, go prepare everything calmly that I have everything under control.
Aibek-Thanks again brother.
We share a quick and tight hug before he leaves and I start working at last.

The next day as I expected my brother brings the kids to my place at dinnertime.
Aibek-Hey.
-Hi brother, hey kids.
They just wave at me and I look at them.
-Come on in. I'll show you your rooms.
They wave goodbyes with Aibek for a bit longer before they come in and he leaves. Once inside I start talking.
-I only have four rooms and one is mine so, three.
Adelina-We have to share rooms?
-Very likely but you don't have to worry, I already organized the rooms and how you're going to share them.
They share looks between themselves especially the twins and so I speak.
-Yahir and Adelina will sleep here. That one is for Merik and that one over there is for Malik.
I can see how they don't agree much at being separated and the little ones, after a look they smile as they hold hands.
-Go unpack your things. I'm going to help these two unpack before we go get dinner.
They nod reluctantly and so we unpack and get everything ready and done. As I turn to serve dinner the youngest two help without much trouble but the eldest twins complain about everything they have to do and they ask.
Merik-Uncle, aren't you counting us wrong?
-Why?
Malik-We're five and you got six places at the table.
-We're six. The sixth person should be here soon.
Merik-Who is it?
-You'll see soon enough.
They pout but they don't ask more and just as they sit down to eat she arrives as well.
-You can start eating. We'll be right back.
With that I stand and going to the door I let her in.
M-Sorry I'm late.
-Is alright. They're already here. Come on, join us for dinner.
She goes in as I get her bags and luggage in my room before I join them as well.

As I arrive they have already presented themselves and Yahir is looking at her instead of his now closed book.
Yahir-Uncle, she's fun. I like her.
-Perfect. That's good because she's also goin to stay here with all of us.
Adelina-All the time we're here?
-All the time, right Maya?
M-Right.
With a smile we fall into a lot of jokes and easy conversation as we eat. When we're done Maya goes ahead to sleep, I pick up the dishes and the kids help me with them. Adelina and Yahir get the utensils, Merik washes, Malik dries and I save them. When we're done I send them to bed but keep the two eldest.
-Stay here you two.
Merik-Are we already in trouble?
-No but I do have to warn you. Do not sneak out of the house this night or any night. Never in your life.
Malik-Uncle please.
-Don't do it. I have a security system, if there's a breach in it I'm going to kill first and think later. I don't want the dead person to be one of you. Don't risk it.
Merik-Fine.
Malik-We'll make do in here.
I sigh and so I turn to them.
-Go sleep then. Tomorrow we wake up early.
They go and once they're in their room that I see them all four in their beds and asleep I finally go to my room. I smile when I find that she's still awake.
-Hey.
M-Hi. I really hate being the last one on your day.
-Sorry.
M-But then again, being the last one has it's good sides. We can take our time and be together all we want.
-Really?
M-Come on. Get on the bed with me. I'm cold and lonely.
She makes puppy eyes and I laugh as I join her on the bed and I cuddle her.
-I love you.
M-I know, I love you too and more.
-Good night fiancee.
M-Night.
With lazy kisses and lots of soft cuddles we fall asleep together.
The next morning I wake up, as usual, late and after everyone. I get up and since I have to wait for the kids to get out of the bathroom I go to the kitchen first. I find that the twins and Adelina are already there. I smile as Adelina laughs with her brothers being silly with her.
-Kids. Good morning.
Adelina-Morning uncle.
Merik-Hey.
Malik-Morning uncle.
Merik-Breakfast is being cooked.
Malik-She's helping Yahir get ready.
Adelina-She made my hair. It looks good, right?
-Of course it does. Still, you always look good.
Merik-She does. Do you got plans or anything for us today?
-Of course I do and not just today but all the time you're here. Today we're going to relax and spend a fun day together and tomorrow the other stuff starts.
They growl but they still agree to it and so we get ready for the day.
