When we get to Olympus the sunset is starting and it looks better here. While passing through the hallways I stop and pull him into a hug.

-Why do you have to be so handsome?
Ha-That's because you see me with love.
-Can't we go rest a bit and go to the doctor tomorrow?
Ha-He's just waiting for us.
-I know but I want to sleep, I promise I'll rise up early tomorrow but let's go home and sleep a little. Yes? Pretty please.

I give him an innocent smile and he gives me a kiss before he pulls back.

I hold onto him and he teleports back home. I feel as he kisses me once more and when we separate and I open my eyes and see that we're back home. Before I can take a step he takes me over his shoulder and starts walking towards our room. When he finally puts me down I land on the bed and he follows after. He takes my shoes off and slides the blanket over me and soon after I'm under the blankets and inside his arms in a warm hug. I fall asleep soon after and the next morning we wake up at the same time by his phone ringing.
Ha-Yes?........Hera, you awake?
-Yes. Time to go?
Ha-Yes.
I jump out of bed and go prepare for the day and go to the doctor. He checks me throughout and when he's almost finished.
-Are you checking me up or the state of my pregnancy?
Doctor-Both.
-Are you done yet?
Ha-My love.
-What? He's taking too long with the checkup. If I knew this was going to take so long I would've come last night.
Doctor-There, is done.
-Thank the gods.
Doctor-Let me get this checked and sorted out and I'll be right back.
He goes away and I sigh in exhaustion as I stretch my arms and legs. After a few minutes the doctor comes back with an envelope and he gives it to Hades. He saves it on the inside pocket of the jacket of his suit. He shakes hands with the doctor and we go back home on earth. On the ride down he takes the envelope out again and I reach to take it but he pulls it out of my reach.
Ha-Ah, ah, ah, easy there, I'll open it and read it myself.
He starts reading the results and a wide smile appears on his.
Ha-Who would've known?
-What does it says?
Ha-Easy. Wait for it. Be patient.
-Patient? How can I be patient when you keep teasing me about it.
Ha-We both know you like to be on edge. And I like the expression you make when I do it to you.
He saves the envelope once more as we finally get back home. When we get to my apartment I give him a look and extend my hand expectantly. He gives me the envelope but instead of letting go he pulls me to him.
Ha-Do you want to know how much time you have?
-Of course I want to know. I been asking you all the way here. So, tell me.
Ha-Ten weeks.
I straighten up and look at him with my eyes wide open.
-Do you mean......
Ha-Yes, it looks like it. And we thought it was barely even one month.
-Two and a half months and I didn't know. We have to start preparing everything so when the baby comes everything is here and perfect.
Ha-I have everything under control. I will take care of you, and you too my child.
He touches my belly and rubs it gently as he lies his head on my shoulder. I put a hand on his cheek and brush his hair with the other one softly before kissing it and resting my head on top of his.
-I love you, both of you.
Ha-I love you both too. I want to......
-Yes? You want to?
He clears his throat and speaks again.
Ha-I can't wait until he or she is born already.
-Me neither, I can't wait to hold our baby in my arms, sing a lullaby, hear when it calls me mom for the first time or call you dad for the first time.
Ha-The first steps, our baby will be the cutest thing in the world and the strongest too.
-Let's go out. Walk a bit, take a ride, I don't know. Just, enjoy the outdoors.
Ha-I would like that. With you. Do you want to change or go like this?
-Let's just go.
He nods and we both stand and head outside. We walk among the busy streets of New York and we pass a bookstore for children and I stop and point it out to Hades taking his face on my hand and turning his head so he sees it too.
-Hades, look. Let's go in. I want to check it up.
Ha-I'm coming. I'm coming, slow down.
We enter the store and he follows closely behind. I look through the shelves of books and take some that appear interesting. Hades watches me from the side smiling and I keep looking at the books. I keep looking and that's when I see it. A colorful book forgotten on a corner. I take it and I open it and music starts to play as pictures unfold and there are places that have a cool texture and soft. I find a good phrase and I show it to Hades.

H smiles as he reads it and then he looks at me and kisses my forehead gently.
Ha-The best.
He gives me a hug and kisses my forehead gently.
Ha-You want it?
I nod slowly and he lets out a soft chuckle and takes the book and goes to pay it. After we pay and exit the store my stomach growls loudly and I feel my face heat up with embarrassment.
-I guess it's time to eat.
Ha-Where you want to go?
-At my brother's place. The food there, so good, and he wants to give me something as well.
We start to walk towards the restaurant and when we get there as soon as we cross the doors I'm crushed into a big tight hug.
-Uff, Josh?
Josh-Yes?
-I need to breathe.
He lets go of me and I take a huge breath of relief before I hug him softly.
Josh-I'm so happy you came. Here for you or rather, the baby.
-What did you got?
He nudges me to open it and I see two sets of clothes, one dark purple with gold stripes for a boy and the other one light purple with golden ribbons and laces on the edges for a girl. I put it back inside before I give him a hug and a kiss.
-Thank you, this is so thoughtful.
I look over my shoulder at Hades and I know he wants to see it too but I turn to him and hold it out for him and when he reaches to take it I pull it out of his reach.
-Not now, you have to wait until we get home.
He nods and I turn back to Josh.
-Is there anything new on the menu?
Josh-Unfortunately, no but I still have the best dishes around. I'll get you the best table cleared up and the best dishes too.
-Do you have anything spicy left?
Josh-I have to check, those don't go so fast so I have to check them if they're still, consumable.
He gets us to our table and he looks at me a bit before I shoo him away.
-Weren't you going to check if the food was still consumable?
Josh-Right, sorry, be right back.
With that he dashes off to the kitchen and I turn to Hades.
-You want to see what's in the bag don't you?
Ha-Yes I do. I didn't know you liked spicy foods.
-No one knows. Only Josh because well he's the chef and now you too. Do you like them?
Ha-Not really, I don't like them that much. Perhaps one bite on special occasions but nothing more than that, that's one of the few things I haven't been able to do without backing up.
-That, I have to see for myself. One day.
We hear as my brother comes in with two plates of spicy food. He puts them down and gives me a kiss on the cheek before he goes away. We start to eat our food and after a moment I hear Hades.
Ha-Why are you crying?
-Huh?
Ha-You're crying.
I look at him and reach for my eyes doubtfully.
-I am? I am.
I wipe the tears away and I touch my face a bit. I give him a kiss and excuse myself for the bathroom.
-I'll be right back, do not, again, do not touch the bag.
Ha-I'll wait.
I go to the bathroom and I wash my face a bit and I undo my hair tie and let my hair fall over my shoulders. I exit the bathroom still acomodating my hair a bit and just when I'm about to enter the private room I bump into someone and I almost fall over. I close my eyes waiting the hit but it doesn't come so I open my eyes and I see that Josh is holding me by the forearm. He looks as surprised as I do before he pulls me up.
Josh-Sorry, I just got you both dessert. I made your favorite.
-Creamy vanilla with a strawberry and sprinkles on the top and a rainbow on the edges with a little heart on the middle? That one?
Josh-The other one.
-Vanilla with Oreo chips and strawberries chop in half and in four also as they're bathed in chocolate with a sliced banana around it?
Josh-Yes, that very one. Go, eat it before it melts away.
I nod and he ruffles my hair a bit undoing my hair. I sit down and I admire the ice cream a bit before I take a bite. I see as Hades eats his and he closes his eyes as he chews on a strawberry. I put a hand over his and I can see as he smiles and I stick my finger on my ice cream and pass it through his cheek. He stops chewing and he opens his eyes and looks at me surprised. He touches his cheek where the ice cream is and he looks at it with indifference, I chuckle when suddenly I feel something cold on my neck and I jump in my seat and I realize that Hades has put some ice cream on my neck.
Ha-Payback.
-That's cold and cold.
Ha-You started it.
-I guess I did.
We laugh and we finish eating our ice creams and as I'm about to pay for the food Josh stops me. I look at him confused.
Josh-This one is on the house. Please.
-I hate you, you know that?
Josh-I know, I love you too little sister. Take care, both of you. I'm sure you'll be great parents.
He shakes hands with Hades and he rubs my belly gently.
Josh-Bye, bye little baby, uncle loves you a lot.
He hugs me and then Hades and I go home at last. When we get there I let myself rest against Hades.
-I'm tired.
Ha-The couch or the bed?
-You.
Ha-Me?
-Yes, you rest on the bed and I rest on you. Is that fine with you?
He nods and we go to the room and change to our pajamas and I look as something falls on the floor. I pick it up and let out a chuckle as I see what it is.
Ha-What you got there?
-Something I got for you a long time ago. I forgot about it.
Ha-Can I see it?
-You can't, you will be using it as you sleep. Is to cover your eyes while you sleep.
I throw it at him and he catches it easily and when he sees it closely.
Ha-I'm not going to use this.
-I have the match for myself.
Ha-Okay.
He lies on the bed and he puts it on. I climb on top of him and I give him a kiss before I curl up on his chest. He wraps his arms around me and not long after I fall asleep on his chest.

The next morning when I wake up I'm surprised that I'm still on top of him and he's still asleep. I trace my hand along his abs passing my thumb over them until I feel as he chuckles and I stop admiring his muscles a bit ashamed. I take off the cover of his eyes and I look at his eyes as they ignite awake with love.
Ha-Like what you see?
-You're ruthless.
He acomodates so he's on top of me and kisses me fiercely before going away and when I turn to follow he pins me down on the bed with his aura.
Ha-Stay.
-But...
Ha-Ah, ah, ah, no buts. You stay there while I get you breakfast.
-Fine.
Ha-That was fairly easy. Don't get out of bed.
He calls back his aura and as soon as he disappears into the kitchen I jump out of bed and I run behind him but when I get there I barely passed the counter when I feel a pair of strong arms lifting me up.
Ha-I told you to stay on the bed.
-You know I wouldn't stayed in bed unless I was asleep.
Ha-I know.
-Hades, please, I have to do something or I will go crazy.
Ha-You're already doing something.
-What?
Ha-You're taking care of our baby and making sure it grows strong and healthy.
-That's not what I meant and you know it.
Ha-I know. I know.
He kisses my neck and I feel all my strength fading away as I calm down on his arms. He laughs and he blows on my ear making me shiver. He puts me on a chair at the counter and he gives me a kiss on the lips before he starts cooking breakfast for me. I stay still on my seat enjoying the scenery of his muscles flex as he moves around. He's so focused, I hate to break his concentration but I want a kiss.
-Hades.
No response, I call him again.
-Hades?
Again no response.
-Hades, pay attention.
Still no response.
-Can you give me a kiss?
Hades moves through the kitchen and takes a bite to taste it but doesn't respond to my comment. I sigh in annoyance.
-Hades, do you mind if I go naked to the statue of liberty and throw myself from the very top?
He doesn't respond so I stand and I give him a hug from behind. I turn and I take his face in my hands and give him a deep kiss on the lips and that seems to make him react as he pulls me closer to him by the waist.
Ha-What did I do to deserve this wonderful kiss?
-Nothing much, in fact, I should be spanking you instead.
Ha-Why would you say that?
-I was just trying to get your attention.
Ha-You have it.
-Because I kissed you, otherwise I wouldn't have it.
Ha-Did you want something from me?
-I was trying to get a kiss, you giving it to me but you were on your own little  world. What were you thinking about that took you from me?
Ha-The future. Our kid and the wonderful things we could all do together.
-About that, I was thinking, we have to decide on a name, I already thought of one in case is a boy and I can't come up with something if is a girl. I thought maybe you could help me decide.
Ha-What name you thought about?
-I chose Angelo, is cute and I like it. Do you like it?
Ha-Yes I do. Now, a good name for a girl, let's see. I don't want it to be good, I want it to be perfect. Got it, how about, Karai? Do you like Karai for a girl?

Ha-Not really a plan but a necessity and preparations.
Both-For the baby.
We look at each other and we laugh a bit before we prepare for the day. Just when we're about to head out I turn to Hades.
-What about if you let me take care of everything today and you go relax a bit?
Ha-But I want to help you.
-And I want you to help me, but I want to be out as a GOD today.
Ha-GOD?
-Girls only day.
Ha-Would I be able to go if I use a dress?
-No. I said is a GOD and you can't go, in fact why don't you make a MOD for you and your brothers and the guardians as well?
Ha-Fine, I'll go with my brothers but my thoughts will be with you. You go have your day and have fun. Call me if you feel bad or anything happens at all, even the tiniest thing.

We go out and we walk holding hands until we get to the agency. The elevator dings as we reach the floor in which I used to work before and I barely keep my eyes off of Hades until the doors of the elevator shut again and I keep there until I'm satisfied and I turn to go to Alex's office when I hear a voice behind me calling me.
May-Hera, is so good to see you again. What are you doing here? Where's that husband of yours?
-May, is so good to see you too. I missed you. Is been too long.
May-Not that long. Is only been two months since your wedding.
-I know but is been the most wonderful and longest two months of my life. Come with me, I have something to tell you.
Without waiting for an answer I pull her down the stairs to the lobby and I pull her to a far corner.

She nods and grabs on to something and I can barely keep my excitement under control.

I pass a hand through my hair as I can't seem to speak a full sentence to her. I look at her and then at my hands and an idea occurs to me. I take her back to the stairs and once we're alone without anyone watching I take one of her hands in mine and put it on my belly, she opens her eyes wide and look at me in a mix of surprise and shock.
May-No, you're kidding me.
I shake my head and she smiles at me.
May-You're.......pregnant? How, when, why? I don't believe it. How did Hades reacted to the news?
-He was confused at first like he couldn't believe it and then he was practically jumping with joy. He even lifted me up and covered my face in kisses and kept hugging me.
May-How much time do you have?
-Three months now.
May-Three months? Do you know if is going to be a boy or a girl yet?
-No, but we have names for both just in case. I chose Angelo if is a boy and Hades chose Karai if is a girl.
