I wake up with a scream and sweating. I put my hand in my neck and I hug my knees while I sob as I relive the feeling of being killed. After a couple of minutes I hear the front door opening followed by Hades's voice.
Ha-I'm home. I got some food from your brother's restaurant.
I look up and I run to meet him. I hug him tightly and I sob a little on his chest.
Ha-I wasn't gone that long.
I just hug him a bit tighter and he lifts my head up by the chin to see me. He frowns when he sees me crying and puts the bags away. He takes my face on his hands and cleans my tears away.
Ha-What happened? Why are you crying?
-They're back. I thought they were gone but they're back.
Ha-What is back? Tell me.
-The nightmare, I thought I'd never have it again. It looks like I was wrong.
I hug him tightly again and he helps me to the couch. He let's me rest my head on his lap and I rest there while he caress softly my cheeks and my arms and my hair until I calm down enough to speak.
-Hades.
Ha-I'm here. I'm listening.
-That nightmare, I always had it since I was a child but less tragic. I usually had it beforehand, when a big significant change is going to happen in my life. I got it a week before my mom died and then when my brother opened his restaurant and when I got my first real job. I get the nightmare and a week afterwards something happens. But this time, I got confused because I have passed a lot of changes, big changes and I didn't have the nightmare so I thought it was gone for good. Guess I was wrong.
I sob a little and shake a bit before he kisses my hand softly. I sit up and rest my head on his shoulder before I speak again.
-This was the worst, by a long shot.
Ha-Easy. You don't have to talk about it, not right now anyways.
-I know but I feel that you should know.
He nods and I continue.
-This time everyone that I have met in my life, both the dead ones and the ones that are still alive. Everyone hated me and blamed me for everything and just at the very end, my, Josh got close to me and he holded me.
I start crying again and he holds me closer to him, tightly as if he knew what I was going to say.
Ha-Don't think about it. Just a nightmare.
-He killed me without a second thought. No hesitation.
I cuccoon myself in him. He hugs me very tightly before he lifts me and takes me back to the bed. He takes off his clothes just enough so I'm feeling the warmth of his body against my own. Not long after I'm asleep again by the calm beating of his heart and his breathing and the warmth his body provides me.
When I wake up again I feel slightly better and I see that Hades is still at my side and still with his clothes on, even the shoes. I make a face to myself as I give him a soft kiss. I nudge him a bit to wake him up.
-Hades.
Ha-Mmhm, I'm awake. How are you feeling?
-A bit better thanks to you. Can you get me my bag?
He turns and takes a bag from the cabinet. He gets it to me and I take it and open it and search inside. I take out a hair brush and a couple more items I'm going to use at the moment when something catches my eye. I closed and think for a moment.
Ha-Is there anything wrong? Something missing?
-Is been how many days since the wedding? Two or three? The two being wedding a day and another day and the three being the wedding a day another day and another one being that one yesterday making this one the fourth day.
Ha-This is the fourth day, why?
I stand from the bed and check the calendar on my phone.
-I have to check something and make sure. Can you call May over while I get ready?
Ha-Sure, what for?
-Something I just remembered that I have to do with her.
He understands that I won't say more about it and calls May as I go to the bathroom and shower and prepare. When I come out Hades is having breakfast while May tells him about a time that I almost got fired. I give Hades a kiss on the cheek and a hug.
-Bon appetit. I'll be back by noon or so. Wait for me.
I take May and pull her with me to the streets and when we're far from home I let go of her.
May-What do you need me for? First Hades calls me saying I come over and now you take me out.
I look at her and take her by the shoulders and I look left and right and around so no one can hear us and I pull her closer.

She nods and goes inside and after about fifteen minutes she cones out with a bag. She hands it to me and I see the stuff I asked for. Afterwards I pull her to a clinic and I do a quick check up. When is done I ask the doctor.
-When are the results going to be ready?
Doctor-In a week, but five days week.
I nod and go away, we go to a cafe around a corner and I just fidget with my fingers anxiously until May speaks.
May-Are you going to tell me what is this all about?
I take a deep breath and whisper to her.
-I think I might be, expecting. I'll know for sure in five days.
May-So, you might be pregnant. How can you have the thought?
-I had a nightmare, the nightmare. Today when I got my bag I saw my calendar and I noticed that I didn't had my period yet.
May-When it was supposed to be?
-Not the wedding night the one afterwards.
She let's out a chuckle and I look at her.
-What?
May-I see what you did there. The wedding night enjoy it to the fullest with your new husband and then get your period the next day when you calmed down from being a bad girl with your bad boy.
-May. Please.
May-Anyway, back to the topic. What if you are pregnant? How are you going to tell him?
-I don't know. I'll figure it out when I get the results from the test.
We continue talking and talking and then I head home.

I wake up before Hades does and I sneak out of the house and go to the doctor to get the results. Is a bit early but I still go. I get there at the same time the doctor does and he smiles as he recognizes me.
Doctor-I have them ready. Let me just open the door and I'll get them for you.
I nod and he opens and we both enter. I wait as he looks for the results and then he hands me an envelope. I look at it and then I put it on my purse and sigh.
Doctor-May I ask, don't you want to know the results?
-I read it later. I have to think things through.
He nods and as I turn away he opens the door for me and I thank him one more time before going home. This time around I hurry back home and when I get there I go straight to the kitchen and open the fridge. I look around and I decide to take one glass of juice that I left there the day before. When I close it I start drinking when I get scared and drop it.
Ha-Morning.
I drop the glass to the floor scared to death and I turn to him.
-Bloody hell, don't scare me like that.
Ha-Not my intention.
I give him a kiss and he hugs me from behind and kisses my cheek lovingly.
Ha-Love you.
-Love you too. Help me clean this up.
We clean up the juice from the floor or rather I clean the juice and he cleans the broken glass. I start doing some breakfast and I push Hades out of the kitchen to the living room.
-Wait there. I'll cook and don't touch anything.
He goes and I made a batch of oatmeal for him. I serve him the oatmeal and I get it to him. He looks at me and puts the food away.

Ha-Where's yours?
-Not hungry. And just in case I only made enough for you.
Ha-Then we're going to share.
-Do I have an option?
He shakes his head and I take a bite from the food.
-There, happy?
He laughs and pulls me to his side. He puts an arm around my shoulders and with his free arm he takes the food and eats in front of me trying to tempt me.
-You really want me to eat, don't you?
Ha-Of course I do. Here, a bite for you and don't you dare say no.
I roll my eyes and take the bite.
-You're crazy. But you're my crazy. All mine.
He laughs and gives me a kiss before putting the empty dish away.
Ha-Let's see something.
-Good idea. There is a new show airing today and I have a few movies too, recorded and on CD.
Ha-I'll get some blankets and pillows.
-You can get the couch to the corner and we stay on the floor while I get the beverages.
For the next hour we make the preparations to make a marathon and when everything is ready we lie on the floor and start watching movies and TV and listen to music. We play games and laugh. When is close to nightfall I start to doze off and I rest my head on my hand. I start to doze off when I feel Hades getting closer to me with his hand traveling down my neck through my back and then back up and down again until he kisses my neck.
-Uh, Hades, I have to tell you something.
Ha-It can wait until afterward.
I make a face but allow him to continue. I turn and put myself on top of him. He lifts my skirt just enough so he can caress freely as I take my shirt off and throw it aside. I take my skirt completely off and stay on my underwear. He looks at me lovingly as he admires me.

Ha-You're just like honey and I'm a bee.
I put a hand on his chest on tip of his beating heart and go down to kiss him. We do a quick sex session before we fall asleep together there on the floor.
When I wake up the next morning Hades is gone and as I get up I check the results the doctor gave me the day before and I see that I am indeed pregnant. I save it and check deeper on my bag for the pregnancy test that is ready on minutes. I go to the bathroom and do the test and as I wait for the results to show I pace around the bathroom and when I see that they gave the same results I get mixed feelings and feel even more confused than before. How do I tell him that we're going to be parents, that I'm pregnant but how can I say it to him. With those thoughts I prepare breakfast for me and Hades when he gets back. I eat my share and as I'm halfway done he gets home and he goes to the fridge.
-Yours is over there.
He looks at me and then he takes it and start eating it. I eat mine slowly and I start fidgeting with it until I stand and run to the bathroom. I lean back and let out a sigh and when I'm sure I will not throw up anymore I stand and I wash my face. I lean over the counter and breath evenly.
Ha-Are you feeling okay?
-Just a bit dizzy, that's all. It'll pass if I just take it easy.
I sit on the edge of the tub and I tap my fingertips against the edge. He sits at my side and I rest my head against his shoulder.
-Do you remember that a week ago I had a nightmare? And that I told you what happens every time I had that nightmare.
Ha-I remember. What about it?
-Well, now I know what's going to change in my life, our lives. We have two more celebrations to add to our lives. As a minimum.
Ha-What are those two going to be?
I hide my face deeper on his chest and talk again.
-We have to celebrate the mother's day and father's day, for us.
For a moment he doesn't speak and I'm afraid he didn't understood me until he speaks again.
Ha-Are you saying you're, I'm, we're going to be parents? A child of our own?
-Mmhm, a child of our very own. Who knows if you get an heir or a sweet little princess to adore you.

I give him a kiss and he looks at me before he hugs me tighter and he lifts me up and cover my face in kisses before he hugs me again and again. I laugh at his happiness.
-Are you happy?
Ha-What a question. Of course I'm happy, I'm having a child with the woman I love, the woman I love is giving me a child. How can I not be happy? When did you found out about it?
-Today and three days ago.
He gives me a confused look so I explain myself.
-I started suspecting when I had the nightmare, the morning afterwards. I went to the doctor to check and they were ready yesterday but I checked them today and they were positive. I made a second test to make sure before telling you.
He smiles and hugs me softly. This time instead he leans down resting his head on my shoulder.

Ha- You make me so happy. I love you so much.
-I love you too. What are you thinking about?
Ha-Stuff, how are we going to tell everyone? I could scream it to the whole world. So, how do we say it?
-Maybe our closest and most trusted friends first. With a small reunion, we call Cerberus and Persephone and Josh too.
Ha-Aphrodite and Alex can come too.
-So, seven for now?
Ha-We have to prepare for seven hundred because they surely will bring company and they eat a lot.
-When do you want to tell them?
Ha-Today. At the evening. I call them right away and prepare everything.
Without another word he gives me a last kiss and a hug before he turns to his computer and sends several emails to different people. I call Josh and tell him to be there and I ask Hades if it can be at my brother's restaurant and he nods.
Ha-I made reservations for a VIP room for all of us.
I nod and turn to my phone again and I finish explaining to Josh and I hang up. When everyone is notified we prepare ourselves and when we're finished is almost time to go. I give my hair a couple more touches before I turn to Hades and I see that he's already dressed.

He sits on the passenger seat and fasten his seatbelt and I shrug and take the wheel. I smile widely at him as I put the key and start the engine. I turn to him.
-You know you're in for a scare.
I accommodate the seat so I can reach the pedals as he is much taller than me. I pull it front twice and I still can't reach.
-Bloody hell you're tall. I still can't reach the pedals. There we go. Hold on very tight.
I give reverse slowly and when I can go forward I press the pedal to the full and we go from 0 to 180 mph. I catch the sight of Hades scared face and I laugh loudly when I see a traffic light ahead. I go faster and I can hear Hades screaming.
Ha-Stop, is red, the light is red.
-I know.
Ha-Then why don't you stop?
I laugh and just as we reach the light I press the breaks and we go to a perfect stop. I pat Hades head and he holds tighter to his seat. The light goes green and I accelerate once more. I put loud music on the radio and press the button so the ceiling goes back as is a convertible. On the last fragment I steer the wheel to the side making a sharp turn and then when I spot the restaurant I see our spot completely empty. I make a turn so the car makes a complete turn and lands on the parking. When it stops it goes over to one side before it lands on it's four tires again. I turn the car off and let out a sigh as I smile widely. I turn to see that Hades is still holding tightly to his seat this time with his eyes tightly closed. I rub his hand a bit and as I put the ceiling on again I open the door and get out I go around the car and get Hades door open.
-Hades. Hades, we're here, the car is stopped. You can relax.
He let's out a sigh and looks at me.
