I wake up later on the day feeling unusually hot. I check myself and I am hot but I'm not steaming so I dismiss any thought that might worry me in this. I go back downstairs and I get something to eat.
M-Evzen, can you turn down that steam?
-The what now?
M-Your aura, you're going to start a fire here.
I shrug and I call it back forth but it doesn't obey. I look at him and I take a few steps out.
-We might have a problem with that. I can go if you like.
M-Come back when you turn off.
With that I go shower but it only gets hotter which concerns me a bit now since I can't make it go away. I turn to the ceiling and I meditate a bit there.
                   Robin POV
I am dressing a bit because today is a party with my friends and I want to take the opportunity that Evzen is asleep and pretty damn tired to sneak out. I swear he is worse than dad when protecting me so I have to sneak out to meet some boys and break their hearts crushing them into a pulp. At the last moment the crime alarm buzzes and I quickly change to my uniform. I throw a hoodie on and as I go out I find that Evzen is already waiting for me. He seems more active than usual and a bit more agitated but I dismiss it as him waiting too long for me. I pull on my mask and step closer to him.
-Let's go.
E-Let's.
He takes my hand and teleport us there. Is a fake emergency call to give us a welcome party to officially make us the city heroes.
Mayor-Hereby I declare you two the heroes of New York city. I hope you accept this as a token of our gratitude for protecting us this past few months.
He gives me a bouquet and Evzen a badge of honor. Girls scream for him and boys reach over to me. He slides an arm protectively around me and I smile at him before we have to go away as the sun starts to rise. They wave us goodbye cheering us on and I can tell there is something wrong with Evzen. He is a bit rougher than usual and when we get home he takes a bag of ice and goes directly to the shower. I go to my room and I don't feel that tired anyways so I turn to my phone to play watch videos or anything just to wear me out. Eventually I fall asleep on the bed still in my costume.
                         Evzen POV
I am in the shower trying to cool down a bit. The shower is on is coldest point but I still feel hot and my temperature keeps rising and rising with every passing second. I give up trying to cool down that way so I get out. As I do the water turns to steam and evaporates and I can't help but to be surprised by that. Despite what I want I get dressed with some shorts and a sleeveless top and I go downstairs to get a water bottle a beer and a run. I need to burn off all this extra heat that's bothering me. I take my skateboard and I slowly go downstairs. I'm burning up and is not getting any better but I need to eat a lot if I'm going to go exercise a lot so I do and I make a salad, a steak, ice cream and anything else that I might find that I can eat. I sit at the table and as I eat in big bites I feel a bit useless as I grow hotter and hotter and I get clearly more irritated. The others start getting here and they do jeep away from me except for the twins.
CJ-Someone is really hungry.
I shrug and I keep eating my food.
AJ-Heated up.
I throw him a look and they just sit down to eat. CJ takes a bite of my salad and I warn him with a look. He turns to take another bite but I take the knife and stick it right between his fingers. He stops and I gulp down the food I'm chewing before I speak.
-My food, touch it again and I swear I won't miss.
CJ-You wouldn't.
-Do not even try it.
He takes it as a joke and goes to take it again. I take the food away instead negating him a bite but when he reaches over again I jump off the table knife in hand and landing on top of him on the floor I give him a punch before I try to actually cut him. He manages to stop me by pushing me back and I scoff angrily before I get up and I throw him the knife. My aim is not deadly but it does catches him off guard.
CJ-It was just a bite.
My anger rises even more and so does the heat I have and as I start to burn hotter everything in the kitchen explodes and so does the fire alarms. The water around me evaporates and I am utterly confused by that.
-What the hell?
M-Can you turn that off?
Hopefully I try to cool down but I can't so I just run away. I hear them calling out to me but I ignore them.

Once I'm pretty far away I stop and I curl myself to rest for a moment and I try countless times to control myself but I fail so I just stay there letting it all flow naturally.
                         Max POV
I sigh reclining with the towel on hand and I pass a hand through my hair frustrated.
-What a mess.
Ha-He sure is a handful.
Ka-This is out the scale even for him.
N-Let me clean this here.
-Sorry. Well, what might happen to him?
Ka-If he's like you it will be like when you grew to my height. Remember, at Olympus, your claws and fangs got sharper and you grew from young man to man.
-Is that when I broke.......
Ha-You nearly break down my house.
Ka-He apologized.
Ha-That doesn't change the fact that he did it. He also broke a spoon with his teeth.
We all laugh at that as we recall the event.
Ka-As I was saying, if he's like you he's just lost control of his aura and hopefully it won't last that long to control it again.
CJ-That doesn't explain why he was so aggressive.
Ha-It affects every individual in a different way. You and AJ were desperate to keep yourself together and all that, Karai got to be ashamed, Max was pain and so on.
-And this, I mean he is steaming hot. Like a fever but worse.
Ka-I hope he can come back soon to help him.
Ha-We have to look for him instead of just sitting around.
R-I know how to find him.
-You do?
R-There are a couple places he could be. Besides, I wasn't all this time with him just to save the city. I did learned a few tricks.
-Can you tell where he is now?
R-If he's not moving I can find him, especially if his aura is as out of control as you say it is.
With that she calls her aura forward and for a moment she searches before she frowns.
R-Come on, ugh, ah.
I run to her and she leans on me. This is not good.
-What happened?
R-He's rejecting me. Pushing me away.
-Dad?
Ka-I guess we'll have to search the old fashioned way.
Ha-Maybe by the time we find him he could be better.
-I hope so.
I give Robin a hug and a kiss before I speak to her again.
-Stay here, maybe he'll come back.
She nods and she turns to clean again as I go with all the guys to search for Evzen. We go in pairs or three as I go with Karma and Hades, Hydra and Chimera go another, Calix and Pax another and the twins go the other way.
Ka-Where do you think he is?
Ha-Any specific place?
-I got a few ideas.
Ka-Really, do share with us.
-Well, since he is hot he can be either in a cold or freezing place trying to cool down or a hot place to feel comfortable.
Ha-I think he is more likely on hot or a middle ground.
Ka-Why?
Ha-He wouldn't melt ice or cold carelessly.
Ka-Probably.
-I would accept any explanation right now. If it helps me find him........
I get cut off by dad holding a finger to my mouth.
Ka-Do you hear that?
I strain to hear and I manage to hear a couple sobs. Echoing through the forest we are right now.
Ha-Is that?
-It is.
The sobbing continues and is not the sobbing that breaks my heart but the way he is doing it, he mist be feeling so bad, frustrated or in pain. We keep walking and the green trees then from alive and green to have scorch marks and eventually burned down and dried of life. At last we see him sitting in a valley at the very center. He's surrounded by black everywhere, burned trees, dead grass and so on. I gulp and I dare step closer and I am instantly feeling too hot but I don't really care. He notices me and his head snaps up and I stop as I don't want him to run away. I sigh daring myself to speak.
-Evzen?
E-Stay away.
-Ok, I'll just stay here. Let's just, talk.
E-Don't want to talk about it.
-We don't have to talk about this. We can talk about other stuff.
I dare to step closer but he shifts away a bit of his aura blasting to me. He groans calling it back to him and it does after a couple seconds. He is frustrated, angry and afraid. I pick a random thing.
-It is a beautiful night tonight. Look at it.
After a bit he does and he shrugs as an answer.
-It feels right, calm in a sense. A clear night, with only the moon shining brightly. Don't you think so too?
E-I guess it has that effect.
-Would you like to do something? Have something done?
E-I would like to be somewhere else doing something else but..........
-But?
E-Is too hard to move feeling like I do.
-And how do you feel?
E-Too hot to bother in moving.
He explains how he feels and I carefully and silently step closer to him. If he notices he doesn't show it but I don't really care what happens next. Dad and Hades keep an eye out in case he loses control or tries to run away. I lift a hand to touch him but I back away as he's too hot to try and touch him. He doesn't seem to notice but when he notices he gets at arm's length from me. He doesn't want to hurt me or do anything at all if he's not alone.
-Let me help you.
E-How?
-We'll figure out if you let me help.
E-See that? You don't know anything.
I can feel it getting hotter as he gets angrier and more frustrated.
E-I can't go back there, not yet anyways. What will I do if this doesn't stop? Do I have to keep from touching any of you, I can't hug or take a hand or spar or anything at all.
-Calm down. You can control this.
E-How can I? I already tried and I can barely keep it like it is now!
-Evzen please.
E-No! I won't go with you, I can't go with you.
As he gets angrier his aura snaps at me a couple times. I barely can evade them. I don't use my aura since I could scare him or he could take it as a fight challenge so I don't.
