At dinner as we sit down to eat as a family I just play with my food nervously as we wait for our guest to arrive. At a moment Karma starts mocking me.
Ka-Who? Who? Who is it? Who? Who?
I chuckle as he sounds so funny. He does it again and I try to stop him to no avail.
-Karma.
Ka-Can't speak. Busy.
Witht hat he let's himself fall on top of me and I try to shake him off but he doesn't budge. I caress his hair a bit and devise a plan.
-Mmm, such beautiful hair. It would be a shame if someone cut it.
He opens his eyes and looks at me in doubt. I motion for him to get off but when he doesn't I take the knife and show him. He turns alarmed and get up from me and we all laugh. He gives me a short kiss before he turns to wash the dishes. As we speak we hear someone knocking at the door. I open and with a hint of professionalism I open the door for him.
Ch-Sorry for being late.
-No matter. You're here and that's what counts. Huh. You really are tall.
Ch-So, you said there is something important you had to discuss with me.
-Yes, come on in. Let me get my shoes and we can talk while we walk.
He nods and I get him a drink while I turn my sandals on.
                   Chimera POV
I look at the most beautiful girl I've seen in all my life and I can't help but smile as she gets ready to go for a walk with me. I wonder what can I do for her. I love her but I'm afraid I might not be good enough for her, I mean, she's a goddess and I'm a monster. The first time I saw her she was so beautiful and her dedication and hard work is what I like about her. She's passionate, she's friendly, smart but still she never once glanced my way. I wonder why does she wants to talk to me now.
                     Karma POV
I approach Nova as she prepares for her walk.
-Him? He has rage attacks.
N-So?
-I don't want him to hurt you.
N-Please, he's nice and is not his fault, I think he's interesting. Besides, is just a walk. If I don't come back everything's fine, if I do come back is fine as well.
I give her a kiss and I watch as she goes away with Chimera. I go to my room and I change clothes as I go towards the garden and start practicing my fighting techniques trying not to worry about what might happen to Nova. It doesn't work that well but what can I do.
                    Nova POV
We walk for a bit and we go to the dinner hall and then we ask for something to eat. We keep silent as we eat nervously. He just looks at me with those dreamy eyes he has and I can't help but smile.
Ch-I get the feeling this is not about work. Am I right?
-You're right. Is just, complicated?
Ch-Don't worry, take your time. So, now then, you sing.
-Yes but I'm thinking of stopping and do other things.
Ch-Do you make the dances too?
-Yes, I had help with some of my dances as they are in pairs but with that, I write the song in all the languages, check the clothes I'll wear for that song and then I make a dance appropriate for each kind of song.
Ch-I play the guitar. Maybe we can do some together. I can't sing but I can dance. But what are you thinking on doing after you get out of singing?
-Free diving.
Ch-That's how far deep you can go in the water right?
I nod and he smiles liking the idea. After that we order a bit more food but this time around we go eat it at the infinity pool. He feeds me like a baby as I splash my feet on the water smiling with each bite.
-This is nice.
Ch-I actually have something I want to say. May not have another chance to say it so.
I look away from him as his face turns serious. He turns my face to look at him and just out of the blue he kisses me on the lips catching me off guard. I kiss him back with equal force and when we separate only our foreheads touching we smile and laugh together.
-What does this means?
Ch-It means exactly that. I love you.
The last words come out in a whisper almost difficult to hear but I still do hear him. At finding myself at a lost of words I kiss him again. This time around is more passionate, deep and with more energy. He kisses me back and as we continue with our kiss just when things get good my phone rings. I groan in frustration and I take the phone and turn it off taking the battery out. I turn back to Chimera and smile sweetly at him.
-Now, where were we?
Ch-I wonder, what was it?
We smile wickedly and he trails a finger through my lips. I smile at the warmth of his touch and I speak.
-I love you.
We share one last kiss before we finish the food we got earlier.

We finish the food and I lie on him as I get sleepy.
-Let's stay here.
Ch-Got it boss.
With that he presses a sweet kiss on my cheek as he wraps himself around me protectively. I smile and I fall asleep on his arms.
                     Hades POV
The next morning I wake up and as usual I get ready and I go for my morning run. When I reach the infinity pool I stop dead at what I see. I see a couple asleep at the edge. I step closer and I see is Nova with Chimera. I don't know if to be mad or happy. I shake them off gently.
N-Five more minutes.
-Nova.
She lifts herself stretching out and she wakes Chimera up.
N-Chimera.
Ch-I'm up.
She forgets about me for a moment and I decide to keep it that way for a moment before speaking.
-You with me and you go back home.
I help them up to their feet and as Chimera goes away and Nova waves bye at him. When he's gone she speaks.
N-I'm grounded aren't I?
-Why? Did you do something indecent?
N-Not really.
She gets blushing and I hug her softly easing her. Then I take her on my arms and take us back home.
N-Don't tell anyone. Please.
-I won't but they will find out eventually.
She nods and she falls asleep on my arms again exhausted. I get home and as I enter Karma almost jumps on me but stops when he sees Nova asleep.
-Let her rest. Get her bed ready.
He nods and he gives her a kiss before he goes do as I asked. I follow him and as I enter their room I notice the big gap of difference in them as her side is clean and all organized while his is all messy and disorganized. I get her on the bed carefully not to wake her and as I turn to go away she holds me by the shirt's neck still sleepy. Karma laughs and I throw him a look that silences him a bit. She grabs my shirt tighter and I can't get her to let go so I sneak my shirt off of me and stand at the side. I shiver a bit as I see her happily with my shirt like she were a baby with her blanket. We get out of the room and we go join the others for breakfast. Both Hera and Karai giggle as I enter but I pay no mind to them as I go get my smoothie. I drink it and I almost choke at Karai's comment.
K-Someone's hot.
I choke and cough for a bit as I recover myself. They laugh at my reaction and I can't help but laugh as well.
He-Where is your shirt?
-Let's just say it got borrowed for a bit. I was going to change anyways.
I finish my smoothie and I go change and get dressed for work. I check on Nova one more time and she's still sleeping. I go to the living room and I take Karai with me for her flight practice.
                    Karma POV
I watch as dad and Karai leave and I stay with mom and I play with her for a bit. Then we work until lunch where we eat with everyone and at dinnertime Calix comes with his family. Mom hugs him tight and I turn to give him a soft punch on the shoulder.
-My little brother. How's life going for you?
C-Good, but where are dad, Karai and Nova?
-Dad and Karai are practicing flight and Nova is sleeping. Anyway, where are the mini twins?
C-AJ and CJ are on their way here. AJ broke something and CJ is helping him fixing it.
We go eat and as I cook dinner and chat with them everyone else arrives and when I start serving the dishes I hear Nova calling for me.
N-KARMA!!!!
-Looks like she's awake. Dad, can you........
Ha-Go, I'll finish up here.
I smile and as I go to my room I find Nova still on the bed but awake.
-Did you call me?
N-Where's Chimera?
-I think dad scared him for a moment.
N-He did what?
-Ah, wait a second, I'm not sure about it so don't be mad.
She relaxes and then I ask her.
-Did you rest well? Hungry? How do you feel?
N-I'm kind of hungry. Well rested but gods everything hurts. I guess that happens if you sleep outside and not on your bed.
She sits up and stretches a bit cracking her bones and I am amazed at how they sound. She changes her clothes for a pijama and she forces me to close my eyes while she does.
N-You can open your eyes now.
I do and I laugh at her pajamas.
N-What's so funny?
-Your pajamas. Really, fire n drawings?
N-My aura is fire and I got fire breath.
-I can try not to laugh. Now come on, let's go eat.
With that she gets her ear buds and as she searches her phone for music I lead her to the kitchen to eat.
                    Nova POV
I sit at the kitchen with the rest of my family and I search through y phone for a way to contact Chimera. Karma serves me my food and I eat waiting for my phone to load. I notice everyone watching me but I pay no mind to them. I smile widely as I finally find him. I send him a quick text and he replies back before I can put the phone down on the table. I giggle at his enthusiasm. I text him hurriedly.
Texting
-Did you enjoy last night?
Ch-The kiss or the food?
-Both.
Ch-I can't stop thinking about you now more than ever. I hope Hades is not mad at me for keeping you for the night.
-Don't worry, he isn't mad.
I look at dad and he smiles at me I smile back before I go back to my phone.
-He approves of us. He might not say it out loud but I can tell.
Ch-He scares me. I love you.
-It is quite a handful dating the daughter of the god of the underworld.
Ch-Can we meet again?
-Say frog and I jump.
Ch-Here's a picture of me so you have something to see when we're apart.
I smile as he sends me a picture of him when I think of sending him one of me. I search through my album but all I see are pictures of me and Karma. I groan as I don't find any of me alone. I take a quick selfie as I am and send it to him.
-Here is a picture of me so I'm always with you. I like you a lot. You are a handsome guy.
Ch-You are so cute. My heart is yours. Can you play an illusion on me?
-Play an illusion? Do say. What do you want?
Ch-You and me together kissing, or just being cute with each other. You can play an illusion on me even at a distance. What do I have to do?
-Make sure you are alone, safe and tell me the exact spot where you are.
Ch-I'm at the park. Up in a tree just hanging. Is that enough?
-Yes, close your eyes and get comfortable. I'll do in a moment.
Away from the phone
I save the phone and I tie up my hair in a tight ponytail. I eat my food to get my energy up and I stretch and crack my knuckles. I smile as I find a something I want to show him. I start to play the illusion focusing my aura in a certain spot. I make sire is Chimera before I play the actual illusion and what I do is make a picture of the both of us being romantic with each other. Not too inoccent but not too indecent either. Suddenly everything turns sad and I try to fight it back with my happy illusion when a certain sound distracts me and I recognize it as Chimera's recent established ringtone and as I'm about to take it I notice that my twin nephews have it. They laugh together as they look at it and I turn in anger. I suppress it back down and I turn into sneak mode and walk to them without them noticing me. I wrap my arms around them each and in a cold voice I speak.
-Can I join in?
They turn to me and as they turn to run away I hold them each by the back of their shirts.
CJ-Not the face.
AJ-Sorry. Don't kill us.
-I'm not going to. I'll do something far worse. Hold on to your glasses.
AJ-Is it going to hurt?
I give it a bit of thought before I answer.
-Not really.
I give them each a kiss on the cheek before I start shaking them getting them dizzy. They scream and I stop shaking them and put them back on their feet. They fall to the floor and I take my phone from them and go to a more private place to call back Chimera.
                       Karai POV
We all laugh as the youngest members of our family try to get the dizzyness away. Dad holds a laugh and I do ask him about it.
-Who was she talking to?
Ha & Ka-Her boyfriend.
-She has a boyfriend? Since when?
Ha-Not too long ago.
Ka-Only a couple days, officially.
Ha-Did you knew?
Ka-Not really. I just said something to her and she told me. I just encouraged her to confess to him. I still have the impression they saw each other before in secret.
Ha-She wouldn't do that.
We look at each other and we keep talking about stuff when we are interrupted by someone knocking at the door. Karai turns to open the door and I'm not that surprised that is Chimera who comes in. Dad and I look at him menacingly and he shivers but relaxes as we ehar Nova talk front the room.
N-Almost ready.
