Next Morning

Anamika is packing Ansh’s tiffin. The little boy comes to her with a tie in his hand.

“Mumma, tie bandh do. “ he says.

Anamika looks at him, and is lost in the past. He reminds her of him,her husband. Well, he's his child, though, it's another thing that he never loved her as his wife. Due to which, Anamika flee from the house and made Mumbai her little home. Ansh looks at his mom. She's lost. He wonders, where she gets lost at times. When he asks, she never tells him anything. Ansh nudges him for another time.

“Mumma,Baandho na. “ he says holding her hand.

Anamika comes back into the reality. She looks at her son and begins to fold the tie.Ansh looked at her.

“Mumma,aap kahan kho jaate ho? “ he asks.

Anamika smiles at his innocent question.

"Kahin nahi beta. Mumma yahin toh hai. “ she says as she puts the tie around his neck.

“You miss daddy? “he asks innocently.

Anamika is shocked at the innocent question. She looks at him. She knows he misses his father, but he's no good as a husband, then how would he make a good father. Anamika doesn't like to talk or being questioned about her previous wedding.

“Ansh, maine aapse kya kaha tha, hum daddy ke baare mein baat nahi karenge. Aap aisi koi baat nahi karoge. Mumma hai na aapke paas. Wahi aapki mumma bhi hai aur papa bhi. Samjhe! “she  scolds him.

The little boy gets scared with her loud voice. He looks at her…

“Sorry mumma. “ he says and downs her gaze.

Anamika suddenly realises that she got too stern on the little boy. All he needs is love. She should talk to him softly. He may reiterate the same in the future. And she doesn't want her son to be like his father. She immediately pulls him in her embrace.

“I'm sorry beta. Mumma ko chillana nahi chahiye tha. “ she says stroking his hair.

Ansh looks at her. Her tears aren't hidden from him. He wipes her tears..

“Ansh daddy ki baat nahi karega. Aap ro mat na, please. “ he says innocently.

Anamika smiles at his innocence and hugs him. She kisses on his head..

“Chalo ab school ka time ho raha hai. “ She says and keeps the tiffin in his bag.

“Koi shaitani nahi honi chahiye Ansh. Be a good boy.” she instructs him while Ansh just nods his head.

Soonish, both the mother and son leave the house. Anamika takes an auto to St. Xavier’s school, where Ansh studies in class 1. She asks the auto driver to wait, and she kisses on his head and tells him that she will pick him up in the afternoon. She leaves after that.

She reaches the office and pays to the driver. She walks inside the office and shows the letter to the receptionist. She smiles, and makes a call to someone.

“Sir, the new recruit, Anamika is here. “ she says over the phone.

Getting instructions from the other side, she hangs up the call.

“Just wait for a while. Sir will meet you. “ she tells Anamika.

Anamika nods her head positively and sits on the couches present in the hall. She is nervous as well as worried about the new thing happening in her life. She waits for twenty minutes, when the receptionist informs her that she can meet her boss.

She makes her way to the cabin as directed by the receptionist . The door of the cabin bears the name Vineet Kumar, along with the designation. She smiles to herself and knocks on the door. She is allowed to enter the cabin.  She enters  the cabin. The whole cabin is decorated beautifully. It seems that someone has decorated with all the love. A guy is sitting on the chair, reading a file. Anamika begins to introduce herself but he asks her to sit. She sits down nervously. He looks on at her..

“Miss Anamika Sinha, do you think you'll be able to justify your job?” he asks.

She looks at him and smiles lightly.

“I'd love to. Also, I'm very punctual about my work. “ she replies confidently.

He looks at her.

“it won't be easier here. “ he warns her.

Well, he is never easy on his employees. For him, work is his utmost priority.

“I know how to make it easy. “ she says with a smile.

Vineet smiles at her confidence. It seems as if he is impressed with her.

“I like it. My assistnt will explain your job to you. “ he says calmly.

She nods in affirmation and moves out of the cabin where his assistant shows her the cabin and the work schedule. It seems that she has got it well. The time passes. Anamika walks to Vineet's cabin to give him a file, but his phone rings.

“Yeah, I'm going. Don't worry! “ he says over the phone.

He turns and finds Anamika. She smiles at him.

“Sir, I need your signs on this file. “ she says.

“Later Anamika. I'm in a hurry right now. “ he says hurriedly.

“I want your permission. “ she says meekly.

“for? “ he asks while looking at her.

“I have some work. Can I go out? “ she asks, for she has heard that he is very strict.

She didn't want to break the secret of being a single mother.

“it's lunch break. You can do whatever you like. See you around. “he says and leaves,while Anamika is  surprised as well but she also leaves for Ansh’s school.
