#9. Work and Relationships
You are born every day. Every new day is a challenge, and you have to face it with a smile. Priyanka believes so. She's a programmer by profession, but coding never seemed to attract her. She's rather driven by the serenity of music. It's therapy for her soul, and so she started learning the art of music. In school as well, she studied music as a subject and fell in love with this beautiful art. Even after receiving good offers from some reputed software companies, Priyanka didn't join. She chose to go with her passion. Now, she's earning a decent salary, working at the Serenity Music Academy.
Priyanka reaches the academy, only to find the kids waiting for her. Since it's summer vacation, many kids come to learn music. A few kids hug her, greeting her for the day. A genuine smile appears on Priyanka's face as she embraces the kids. These kids have become her extended family. She's always happy to be with them. As she interacts with the kids, she is oblivious to a pair of eyes fixated on her. She comes out of her trance as her eyes meet his.
Ishaan Singh! The owner of the Serenity Music Academy!
Ishaan and Priyanka have been school friends. Ishaan pursued a degree in music and succeeded in opening this music academy. A part of her passion comes from this young man. Moreover, Ishaan has succeeded in persuading Priyanka to choose music as her profession. Meanwhile, she is not only learning but also teaching music to small kids.
"Good morning, Ishaan! How are you?" She smiles warmly as she shakes hands with him.
"I am perfectly fine. You're late today. Is everything okay?" He enquires gently.
"Yeah, I was stuck in traffic. Aur phir subah subah ghar se nikalne mein der ho gai," Priyanka responds, bringing relief to Ishaan.
"Uh, that's Mumbai, meri jaan! Yahan traffic na ho, aisa kaise ho sakta hai?" Ishaan furrows his brows at his friend, and she giggles.
"Yeah, right! And the rain too. Aur ek tum ho, itni urgently bula liya. What is the matter, Ishaan?" Priyanka asks, her gaze fixed on him.
"It's something urgent, Prii! Agar urgency nahi hoti toh main tumhe nahi bulata." He says, his tone honest and his gaze soothing to her soul.
"Aww, batao, kya hua?" Priyanka asks, but then someone interrupts them. It's a girl, about six years old, with a sharp gaze fixed on Ishaan.
"Ishaan bhaiya! Aap jao idhar se!" the little girl says.
"Beta, mujhe inse baat karni hai," Ishaan says, pointing at Priyanka.
"No, aap baat nahi kar sakte. Aapko itna bhi nahi pata ki class mein baat nahi karte hai? Aap jao, humari class hai. Didi aapse hi baat karengi toh hume song kab sikhayengi?" She asks, her tone innocent, causing Priyanka to giggle.
"Bas 2 minutes, Raina, beta, please, baat karne do," Ishaan pleads, but the girl is smart enough. She gives him a slight push towards the door.
"No means no! Aap Priya Didi se baad mein baat kar lena, aur agar aapko baat karni hi hai, toh aapko chup chap idhar baithna padega, jab tak Didi hume song sikhayengi."
"Agar aapne hume disturb nahi kiya, toh fir aap Didi se baat kar sakte hai..." the little girl, Raina, keeps her condition.
"Haha! You deserve it, Ishaan. Aise kisi ka time waste nahi karte hai." Priyanka giggles, her gaze on Ishaan, while Raina pulls her, holding her hand.
She asks him to wait until she finishes the class. These kids are overenthusiastic, and she needs to calm them down. Only then can she talk to him in peace. Ishaan watches her as she sits at the piano, the kids surround her, and she begins to play a tune.
Ishaan glances at the lady in front of him and feels a warmth enveloping him as the tune fills his ears. He's mesmerised and stands by the door, resting his back against the wall, watching Priyanka play the tune.
On the other hand, Priyanka is so lost in her art that she immerses herself in playing the tune and explaining it to the kids. Upon the kids' insistence, she plays the tune one more time. However, she comes out of her reverie at the sound of clapping. Her eyes meet Ishaan's and then a stranger rooting for her. As she takes a closer look at the stranger, she recognises him-it's someone she knows-and her excitement is palpable, though she cannot name him just yet.

In the Galaxy Fashion Hub, a young girl is shouting at her secretary for not informing her about an important phone call. She's Angel Raichand, and her secretary is also her friend, Mishti Saxena. Angel is upset at the moment because Mishti forgot to inform her about an important client, Vaidehi Shah, from another renowned fashion house. Angel and Vaidehi are supposed to make a deal and organize a fashion show. Amidst the chaotic workday, it slipped Mishti's mind, and now they need to wait until Vaidehi calls again to schedule a meeting.
Meanwhile, the phone on Angel's desk rings, and she picks it up. A smile spreads across her lips-it's Vaidehi on the other end. She offers to meet another day to discuss the deal. Angel's happiness knows no bounds. The ladies agree on a lunch meeting, as suggested by Vaidehi, and then disconnect the call.
Angel looks at Mishti, who's already smiling slightly, knowing the drill. Her light demeanor causes Angel to smile, and she commands her to get prepared for the meeting.
"Mishti, is our ethnic range ready?" Angel asks, her tone authoritative and commanding.
"Yes, Piya is working on it, and our summer range is also ready," Mishti informs her.
"That's great. Arrange a meeting with Piya and Anahita at 12 pm. We have an hour. Ask them to be ready with their designs. Mujhe lagta hai Vaidehi se milne se pehle hume ye do designs ready kar lene chahiye," Angel says, putting forward her thoughts.
"Tum thik keh rahi ho, maine toh suna hai, Vaidehi is a pro at designing ethnics. I think usey hamare yeh ethnic range bahut pasand aayegi," Mishti remarks, while Angel smiles lightly.
"Let's hope for the best, Mishu. Abhi ke liye, hum summer and ethnic range pe kaam karte hai," Angel says, dismissing Mishti, who leaves the cabin to arrange the meeting.
As Mishti leaves the room, Angel jumps on her toes. She's been trying to connect with Vaidehi for a long time, and it came as a surprise that she called to collaborate with them. Though small, it's an achievement for her. She takes a deep breath, determined to make the most out of this little surprise.

Vineet drops Ruhana at her office and drives away, leaving a sweet memory lingering in her heart. She makes her way into the office, and everyone greets her. The receptionist informs her that everyone is gathered in her dad's cabin. She enters Ronit's cabin and finds both Anoop and Sachin in the room, perhaps discussing something confidential.
"Did I disturb you?" Ruhana asks.
"Arey Ruhana, tu aa gai? Tune mujhe tujhe pick karne se mana kyun kiya?" Sachin asks, concerned for his younger sister.
"Bhaiya, shant ho jao. Actually, Vineet invited me for coffee, aur usne kaha ki vo mujhe office chhod dega. Toh abhi vahi mujhe drop karke gaya. And I am fine," Ruhana explains, trying to calm her brother.
It's not that Sachin or their dads don't trust her; they're just concerned about her. Also, she doesn't know Vineet well-he's still a stranger. Having business terms doesn't mean you can truly know a person after just one meeting. But for Ruhana, the definition is different. She found Vineet to be a kind, down-to-earth person. He knows how to make deals and also how to build bonds with people around him. He's a different guy, and it warms her heart.
"Achcha beta, ye batao, jis meeting ke liye gayi thi, uska kya hua?" Anoop asks, his curiosity piqued to know the outcome of the meeting.
"Chachu, we've got the deal. Mujhe lagta hai ki Singhaniyas ke sath ye deal bahut faydemand rahegi. Ab bas deal sign karni hai," Ruhana says and explains her conversation with Vineet.
She also mentions that Sachin asked her to sign the deal, but she wanted it to happen in Ronit and Anoop's presence, so she has invited Vineet to their office. Anoop appreciates her decision and decides that they can schedule the meeting with Vineet at 11 am. Ronit doesn't argue; he knows his brother has made the right decision. But at the same time, Sachin taps his head, which doesn't go unnoticed by his sister.
"Kya hua, bhaiya? Aap nahi rahoge kal meeting mein? Kahin jaana hai aapko?" She asks, anticipating that her brother has another meeting lined up.
"Nahi, gudiya, kahin nahi jaana. Lekin kal maine Mr. Mahesh Shekhawat se meeting rakhi hai. Unhone bhi 11 baje ka time diya hai. Aur wahan chachu aur dad, dono ka hona zaroori hai," Sachin explains the reason for his worry.
"Bhaiya, aap itna pareshan kyun ho rahe ho? Abhi toh chachu ne time diya hai, abhi kuch fix nahi hai. Aap log Mr. Shekhawat se meeting karke aa jao, main Vineet ko tab bula lungi. Ya fir, aap log hi unke office chale jana, what say?" Ruhana suggests her idea, and her dads tend to like it.
"Ruu thik keh rahi hai, beta. Pehle hum Mr. Shekhawat se meeting kar lete hai, aur phir Mr. Singhania se bhi mil lenge. Ruhana unse baat kar legi," Anoop suggests, and Sachin tends to agree.
However, Ronit is a bit lost after hearing about the Shekhawats-it seems that some past memories have come flooding into his mind. Upon seeing him lost, when Ruhana asks what's the matter, he waves off the topic with a dismissive hand and tells them that he's heading home, as he's feeling a little uneasy.
Sachin and Ruhana share a glance, but they let him go. As Ruhana watches her father walk away, she can't deny the feeling that there's more to the story that's hidden from her, or from all the kids of the family.
However, upon Sachin's call, she shushes her thoughts and gets busy with work-it's important, after all.

Nitya is sitting at her desk, her gaze focused on the computer screen, the dim light illuminating her face. She's reading something and jotting down points in her notepad. Her gaze shifts from her computer screen to her notepad in a synchronized and efficient manner. She's unaware that Shailesh is watching her and feeling proud of his decision to keep her on the case. He knows that she can work in sync with Kabir and expose the traitors behind the chaos at Healing Grive Hospital. As she looks through the screen, her eyes fall on a certain name, and a distant memory strikes her mind. She quickly dials a number, and the caller picks up immediately.
"Ishu, mujhe tujhse kuch puchna tha," Nitya says over the call.
"Nitya, kya hua? Sab thik hai na? Tum iss waqt toh mujhe call nahi karti," Ishika asks, freaking out at the sudden call from her friend.
"All okay, Ishu. Anyway, I will tell you all the details tonight, lekin vo jo tumhari dost hai na, Anamika, uske bade bhai ka business kya? Is it Bloom Healthcare Private Limited? Ek baar jab wo tere ghar pe mili thi, usne mujhe bataya tha," Nitya asks, her tone urgent.
"Han, Nitu, vo Mahesh bhaiya sambhalte hain," Ishika confirms.
"Okay, thanks, Ishu, I'll see you at home tonight, aur sab bataungi, lekin I need to rush now," Nitya says, and after saying so, she cuts the call and knocks on Shailesh's cabin.
He allows her in, and Nitya stands before him, ready with some initial pointers. She informs him that she went through the website of Healing Grive Hospital and found a client by the name "Bloom Healthcare" and that she'd like to meet the owners. She also states that she suspects some client names might be fake and that she'll try to gather as much information as she can. However, she needs more time-more than three days-and she's hesitant to ask. Shailesh, being the caring mentor, encourages her to speak.
"Sir, ek toh main Bloom Healthcare ke owner se milna chahti hoon. Mujhe lagta hai ki kuch company names fake hai, lekin unke baare mein pata lagane ke liye mujhe thoda aur waqt chahiye hoga," Nitya says, her tone convincing.
"Okay, Nitya! You can take this week. Tell me if you need any help. I can send Taara with you, for any assistance," Shailesh says, referring to a new employee.
"Sir, I will manage. Thanks for the extra time. Shall I leave now?" She asks for permission, and Shailesh allows her, content that Nitya will complete her tasks perfectly.
She thanks him, gathers her things, and leaves the office. It's time to take the first step in the direction of her new case.

The day passes in a blur. After finishing the important tasks, Angel directs Piya and Anahita to have the designs ready by 9 am. The ladies agree, and Angel can't keep calm; her demeanor screams excitement at the prospect of meeting Vaidehi. She dials Viren's number, as he is supposed to pick her up from the office. As she steps out, she finds Viren standing at the gate, talking on the phone with tension lines etched on his face. Angel stands by his side, and he smiles lightly at his sister. He unlocks the car and asks Angel to settle in, while he continues his call. A few minutes later, he sits in the driver's seat, starts the car, and they head to their destination. In the meantime, Angel notices that her younger brother seems tense.
"Kya hua, Chhote? Kuch pareshan lag raha hai, sab thik hai na?" Angel asks, reading the expression on his face.
"Kuch nahi, Di, aap pareshan mat ho," Viren says, his tone grim.
"Arey, bata ke toh dekh. Bhale hi fashion designer hoon, lekin apna boutique bhi toh chala rahi hoon, maybe main teri kuch madad kar paun?" Angel asks, her tone filled with affection for him.
"Di, honestly, mujhe bhi samajh nahi aa raha. Pehle mujhe Vineet bhaiya se baat karni hai, phir aapko bataunga. Aap samajh rahi ho na?" Viren glances at his elder sister, who nods warmly, ruffling his hair slightly.
Angel agrees, knowing it's something related to their family business. She understands that she can't press further, and of course, her brothers are capable of handling problems on their own. However, if they face any difficulty, they will involve her too. Because, after all, they can together beat any problem that comes their way.
To lighten the mood, she tells him about Vaidehi and that she's meeting the fashion diva the next day. Viren smiles, wishing her luck for the big day. Angel is elated by the trust that Viren has instilled in her. She might tease him a lot, but she also knows that in trying times, Viren will stand by her like a pillar of strength. This is what family is all about, isn't it?
