Yay I'm back!

David's pov

The air was cold. Nipping at my face and hands. I wish I had my old gloves I thought as I walked trying to find my friend. I tried to keep my head low so people wouldn't stare,but it wasn't really working.

I didn't know where to look but the storm was getting worse. The wind was fierce and the rain was heavy. I decided to go to where the storm was most brutal thinking that where Virgil would be.

The heart of the storm seemed to be in the park. So that's where I headed. I got to the park one else was around anymore it was just me. The rain had sent everyone running home. "VIRGIL!" I called out no response.

But I didn't realize except one so. I wandered around my cloths drenched my bone shivering. Then I se it a black gray blur in a tree. I stop dead in my tracks and walk over to him. He's sat in a tree curled in on himself.

"How it going Evan Hansen?" I say. Virgil jerks up started almost falling off his perch. He sees me and relaxes again.

"More like Connor" Virgil says huddling back pulling his knees to his chest.

I walk over and climb into the tree and sit beside Virgil. His eyeshadow is running from tears and he's soaking wet and cold. I reluctantly put my hand on his back trying to comfort him. He stiffens as my hand touches his back but then relaxes again.

"Virge" I say he doesn't say anything.

"We're all worried Patton's scared we need you to come home" I tell him,he seems to get smaller as the seconds go by.

"I don't have a home" he says my eyes widen what did he just say?

"What are you talking about!?" I say. "You definitely have a home,you gave me a home when I least deserved one" I say to him. He glances at me then returns his eyes to the ground below us.

"Virgil..we need you ok,you always say we're your rock but your ours" that gets his attention. He looks at me his glossy dark almost black brown eyes starring into mine. I give him a smile and he returns the gesture.

"Come home" I repeat. He wipes his tears and nods I climb down from the tree and Virgil follows me. We walked home in silence the weather getting better as we get closer to home.

We walk up the stairs to our apartment and stand in front of the door. Virgil takes a deep breath and opens the door.
