Thomas' POV

I woke up my mind jumping around to what had happened yesterday. I didn't really want to think about it. Waking up from my trance I was confused I turned around from the couch and saw Virgil and Roman on the floor holding Patton and Logan in there arms.

I pushed the thought from my mind,and got up for the day. Getting dressed and headed out the the kitchen. Being as quite as I could so I didn't wake the guys. I should look into getting a bigger space.

I made some pancakes and bacon. Slowly everyone started waking up Virgil first. "Hey Virge,how'd you sleep" I asked him quietly putting a plate of food in front of him on the bar. He sat down and started eating.

"Hi Thomas, uh I didn't sleep much" he said taking a bite of pancake.

"Hey" I said but I wasn't sure what I was saying. Virgil looked up at me chewing his food. Waiting for me to continue.

"Umm I'm sorry if the bacons over cooked" I said that's not what is was originally going to say. But I didn't want to bring up the subject of yesterday. He had delt with enough in the past 24 hours.

He shrugged "it's a little crispy" he said smirking at me making fun of my bad cooking.

I went and continued making food. After a while everyone was up and eating. Nobody spoke much it was unsettling so I decided to break it.

"Hey guys," all eyes were drawn to me.

"I was thinking...about getting a bigger apartment, or maybe even a house" I said everyone exchanged excited looks.

"That's sounds like fun!" Patton exclaimed.

"Yes I would too,like a bigger space" Logan said. Everyone nodded in agreement.

"Ok I will start looking around"

"Oh Thomas?" Logan asked. I looked at him. He was thinking as always.

"How are you going to pay for it?" He asked. I hadn't even thought of that I had been away from work for almost a week. I did have lots of vacation days but I didn't notify my boss.

"I'll figure it out Logan" I said. "I'll talk to my boss after breakfast" I said Logan gave me a nod of approval.

After breakfast Patton washed the dishes and I called my boss.

The call pages through and my bosses voice rang in my ear. "Were have you been Sanders we've been jammed without you?" He was surprisingly calm.

"Hello mr Wheeler,I apologize for the inconvenience,my brother came to visit on short notice and I hadn't seen him is a long time. So I took the week off to spend time with him" I explained "I once again apologized sir I will come back to work as soon as you need" I said.

There was a pause then came his voice.

"It's ok Thomas,I can understand wanting to spend time with family. Can you come in tomorrow?" He asked.

"Yes sir I can" I responded.

"Alright I will see you tomorrow 9:00 as always" he said and hung up.

Good that was done I'm glad mr wheeler wasn't a bad boss. He was pretty chill. I didn't want to go back to work but I didn't really have a choice. I had quite a bit of saving so I could move into a house. But I was going to need waaay more if I was going to find a house big enough for all 6 of us.

I suppose life had to go back to normal eventually.
