The rest of the day went smoothly everyone freaking out about my fork trick for like 30 minuets was a bit weird. But we then went outside and trained a little. Roman gave me little metal discs I could throw and control I'm not sure what I'll do with them. But they were fun to toss like a frisbee and then just make them go really far then watch them slowly come back. Roman has been teaching me how to fight while the others trained with each other.

Logan would just teleport then hit one of them then teleport away before they could even turn around. Patton would just throw stuff at them,Branches,small rocks. Sometimes he would just push them over to get a advantage. And then Virgil used lightning witch was awesome he was like Thor. At one point Virgil made lighting strike all around Logan so he couldn't teleport away without the risk of get struck. It was a good move hopefully Dolos wouldn't discover it.

We trained until the sun started going down. "Hey guys can we head in?" Patton said. "I don't like the dark" Patton had curled in on himself he looked uncomfortable.

"Ya lets go in" Virgil said "I'm getting cold" I knew Virgil wasn't getting cold he was used to the cold with all his wind. He just said that so we would go inside. Patton was like a dad to him. And Virgil was his weird strange son.

We headed inside ate dinner talking a little about what we were going to do. Then we all headed to bed. I was sleeping good no nightmares about my mom filling my head. Until I was woke up smelling smoke. I walked to the door placing my hand on It. Cold I opened the door the hallway was filled with smoke. I ran to Romans room who was closest to me. I opened the door running to him in bed shaking him awake. "Roman! Roman get up there's a fire!!" I yelled,he tossed and rolled over.

"What?" He asked confused

"There's a fire go get Logan I'll get Patt and Virgil!" I ran out of the room Roman following me out he ran to Logan's room while I ran to Pattons. I opened the door only to be greeted by Patton on the other side of the door. He pushed passed me and ran to Virgil's room. I turned around to Roman and Logan standing behind me. A couple seconds later Patton ran out of Virgils room with I tired Virgil tripping behind him.

"What now?!" Patton yelled.

"We get out!" I yelled back. He nodded I turned to Roman.

"Roman you can withstand the fire best right" I asked.

"Ya but what's that have to do with us all getting out?" He asked coughing

"I want you to go downstairs and set a fire at the base of the stairs" his eyes widened.

"What why on earth would I do that!?!" He asked.

"Just do it Roman I know where Thomas is going with this" Logan said. Roman looked at Logan then back to me. He gave a nod and ran off down the stairs.

"Let's go to my room" Patton said. "We can get on the shed from my window" we nodded following Patton into his room Roman came in a second later. He nodded to us letting us know the job was done.

Logan ran over to the window opening it up and climbing onto the roof of the shed. Roman climbed out next,then me then Patton. But Virgil was nowhere to be seen. "VIRGIL!!!" I yelled back into the house I couldn't see the smoke was to thick.

Pattons eyes filled with tears. "VIRGIL!!!!!" He yelled. We all stood waiting,nothing. Patton walked over to the window. I grabbed his hand.

"Patton no" I said he looked back at me tears falling down his face.

"I have to go get him" he said.

"No we can't risk losing you to" I said. But those words only made Patton sadder and he ripped away from my grasp.

"I have to go get him!" Patton said charging back inside.

"Patton!!" I yelled,no response. I looked back at Logan and Roman. Roman was crying and Logan was looking at me with fear and sadness in his eyes. I turned back to the window. The flames had made there way up the stairs Roman burning the bottom of the stairs slowed down the fire. But didn't stoped it I could see the flames outside Pattons room in the hallway.

"Patton!!!!" I yelled again no response. I fell to my knees I couldn't lose them these guys were my only friends...my family I couldn't lose them. Tears streamed down my face. I didn't know what to do.

"Thomas" it was faint but there. I looked up to see Patton dragging Virgil out the window. I ran to him,helping him pull Virgil out. Virgil was unconscious and covered in ash. We got him on the roof then we all climbed down and went into the field. Paton dragging Virgil to safety.

"VIRGIL!" Patton yelled when we were far enough away from the house. He started doing cpr on Virgil but he didn't wake up. But Patton didn't stop he kept going. Over and over. He was determined to wake Virgil up.

Then Virgil coughed and breathed. Gasping for air. We all sighed a sigh of relief. Patton threw his arms around him "your ok!!" He yelled,Virgil hugged him back.

"Ya,I'm good" he coughed out.

Patton then kissed Virgil. Virgil's eyes widened but he kissed back. Then Patton rolled over and took Virgils hand both of them now laying the the grass.

I looked over at Roman and Logan. They just stood there happy to be alive. The house was still burning away there was no saving it. I sat down in the grass putting my head in my knees. Roman and Logan sat down next to me. After a while I looked up the house a charred crisp but the fire was going out.

"How did this happen?" Patton said finally breaking the silence and sitting up. I looked at the rest of them no answer not even Logan said anything. We all just sat in the grass. Looking at what used to be our home just the foundation was still standing.

Yellow embers still smoldering.
