Thomas's POV

I woke the next morning my stomach growling because I hadn't eaten dinner,or lunch for that matter the day before. I walked downstairs following the smell of bacon. Logan was making breakfast in the kitchen. Everyone else sitting at the table already eating. I sat down next to Patton giving him a small a smile. "How did you sleep?" He asked taking a sip of his orange juice.

"Ok" I said rubbing my neck. Virgil glared at me,he knew I was lying but he didn't say anything. Logan put a plate in front of me. Some eggs and a couple pieces of bacon.

"Juice or water" he asked

"Um just water" he nodded getting me a glass. Handing it to me before sitting down at the table next to Roman.

"So how are we going to find Dolos?" Virgil asked eating his last piece of bacon.

"We shouldn't focus on that at this time" Logan said "we need to train and learn how to work as a team. Thomas needs to know how to use his powers better before we go charging down Dolos"

"I agree" Roman said nodding.

"Ya that's true,city boy doesn't have any experience yet" Virgil said pointing at me. I gave him a little glare for  calling me city boy. He just smiled.

"Well we can train later today" Patton suggested.

Logan turned to me. "Are you ok with training a little today Thomas?" He asked.

"Um sure" I said,I didn't really want to use my powers they just reminded me of that day. But Virgil was right I had no experience using my powers I needed to freshen up if we were going to defeat Dolos.

Logan's glasses then began lifting of his face. Patton trying his hardest not to laugh. Logan simply grabbed them and put them back on. I'm guessing that was a common thing with them. Patton messing with Logan's glasses then bursting into laughter like it was the funniest thing ever. We finished eating and we're about to go outside to train for a bit. But it started raining,Patton looked at Virgil "I'm not doing it" he said putting his hands up defensively.

"But you can stop it can't you?" Roman asked

"Ya sure" Virgil said walking over to the window putting his hands up and closing his eyes. But nothing happened he opened his eyes and turned to us. I look of confusion and fear on his face.

"What's wrong" Patton asked.

"I...I can't stop it" he said

Logan's eyes widened "but that could only mean one th—" but he was cut of by lightning crashing outside.

Roman,Virgil and Logan ran outside "stay here!" Patton yelled at me as he ran off with the others.
Stay here? What was wrong?

Patton's POV

I stepped outside the others in front of me,looking up. I followed there gaze and above us was Dolos. His yellow cape blowing in the fierce wind he gave a deep laugh before speaking. "Did you really think you could hide from me?" He said lowering himself to the ground

"I will find and destroy every world in the multi verse"

"And what makes you so sure about that?" Roman said stepping closer to him. Trying to make himself look bigger.

Dolos laughed taking his hat off his head and bowing to Roman as if he was a prince. "I admire your bravery Roman" he said placing his hat back atop his head.

"But you four are no match for my power...I have Virgil's and Logan's powers not to mention my flight" he said rising once more into the sky.

"All I came to say was that this world along with the rest of the multi verse will soon parish" Dolos said rising higher.

"We shall defeat you Dolos you wait and see" Roman called out after him. He walked back over to the rest of us as the sky's cleared.

"Why would he just come to talk?" Roman said confused.

"He wouldn't" Logan responded "he's planing something" Logan said thinking.

"But what is he planning?" Virgil asked. His hands forming into tighter fists then they were a minute ago.

"I don't know but we need to figure it out" Logan said with concern.

"We should probably go explain what just happened to Thomas" I said,they nodded and we headed back inside. I didn't like what had just happened I'm usually optimistic in situations like this. But why would he just come to talk. Logan was right he was planning something and whatever it was it wasn't going to be good.

Thomas's POV

The rain had stoped as everyone came back inside. Logan walking straight to the couch sitting down putting his head in his hands. Roman walked over and sat with him. Patton and Virgil just stood by the door. All of them looked scared. I walked over to Virgil and Paton "so what happened?" I asked, Patton looked up at me. He looked scared it was weird to see Patton of all people scared.

"Dolos" he said simply my eyes widened looking to Virgil who nodded. Logan and Roman still sat on the couch not saying anything. Logan looked stressed he was thinking about what to do I'm sure. Roman just sat with him to comfort him. I didn't know what to think. Dolos has come here,how had he found us? What was he up to?

"What did he want?" I asked. Logan shot up from his seat throwing his hands up in frustration.

"Nothing he didn't want anything!" He yelled seeing Logan mad was weird.

"We'll figure it out,ok" Roman said calmly taking Logan's hands in his. Logan looked at his shoes but nodded. I stayed quite I knew that they were thinking about what to do and a strategy. And I didn't want to ask something there was no answer to yet.

So I sat at the kitchen table looking at them all ponder. Logan pacing around the living room. Roman sitting on the couch resting his arms and head on his knees. And Virgil and Patton still standing by the door giving a whisper to one other every so often.

After a while I got bored. Looking around the kitchen I saw my fork on the table from breakfast. I glanced at my hands. Maybe I could still get in a little practice today. I lifted the fork off the table so it was floating and began to spin it around. Making to go faster and faster until it was like a helicopter propellor spinning around and around. I continued to spin the fork until I didn't even have to be thinking about it. I just sat at the table watching everyone else,spinning my fork like a weirdo.

It felt like forever before anyone spoke until Virgil broke the silence. "So are we just going to stand here? Or figure out a plan?" Everyone looked to him. He raised his eyebrows as if to repeat the question.

"I suppose your right Virgil" Logan said. "We need to take action...but how?"

"Why don't we just find him and send him away" Patton said. Virgil walked over to Patton putting his hands on Pattons shoulders.

"I think we're going to have to do more then send him away Patt" he said. Pattons eyes filled with sadness it broke my heart. Patton wasn't allowed to be sad.

"You mean?" Patton said but he couldn't finish. Virgil took him in a hug rubbing his back.

"I know you don't want to hurt anyone. But I don't know if we have a choice" Virgil said. Patton didn't like that and hugged Virgil tightly almost crying into his shoulder.

It broke my heart to see him like that. But was Virgil right would we have to...to...kill Dolos. Even I didn't want to do that. Roman walked over placing his hand on Patton shoulder. Patton looked at him as Roman gave a small smile trying to cheer up his friend. Patton smiled stepping away from Virgil wiping his tears. Logan then walked over to join them.

"None of us want to hurt him Patt. But we don't have a choice" Logan said. Patton nodded sadly.

"I know" he said. Patton looked in my direction and his eyes lit up with joy and excitement.

"Thomas!" He yelled pointing passed me. I looked to were he was pointing my fork,still spinning around and around.

I looked back at Patton to see all of them starting at the fork with excitement. "What about it?" I asked confused as to why they were all so intrigued. Logan walked over to me.

"You aren't even looking at it" he said.

"Oh...ya I just,I don't know made it continue spinning" I said still a bit confused.

"I don't think you'll need much training" Logan said.

Not much training just because I made a fork spin? I didn't understand why they were so excited. But I guess less training was a good thing. We would be able to defeat Dolos sooner. And save everyone so even though I was confused I was excited as well. We were going to save the world and every other world in the multi-verse. I just had to get passed my fear.
